You knocked on the door of his house and then just stood there eagerly waiting. Your best friend, Bugs, had invited you over to stay at his house in LA to get the chance to see him again and meet some of his friends.

 "Helllo...(y/n)!" He cried happily in that Brooklyn accent as he opened the door to reveal your smiling face and hugged you tightly.

 "Hey Bugs" you smiled.

 "Let me take your bags in for you"

 "Oh no, it's fine"

 "No, no, really"

 "Alright then "

 "Sit down, I'll get you something to drink"

 "Thanks, say, where's Daffy?"

 " Oh, he's taking Tina out "

 "Tina?"

 " Oh, I forgot to tell you, that's his girlfriend"

 "Oh, cool, I can't imagine anyone would like ever like him" you laughed.

 "Yeah, we're all full of surprises, aren't we? If Daffy can find someone, there's hope for all of us"

 "Yeah"

You both sat down and talked with each other, catching up for about thirty minutes. He really seemed to have kept himself busy while you were away, he was a pretty smart guy.

 "Senor Bunny! Come in here!" You heard a voice shout.

 "Hmm? Who was that?" You asked as you frantically looked around.

 "Oh, that was just Speedy"

 "Speedy? "

 "He's my friend. He lives here too" Bugs replied to your question as he got up and made his way to the kitchen.

 "What is it Speedy?" He said with a lazy smile, resting his arm on the counter.

 "The pizzariba ees fully booked and I need your help tonight!"

 " Well...it's just that I have other plans. I would love to help though"

 "Other plans?"

 That was when you stepped into the kitchen and offered the sombrero -sporting mouse a friendly smile and wave.

 "Bugs" he shook his head. "I though you HAD a girlfriend!"

 " Oh, she's not my girlfriend, she's just a friend"

 "Ah, so she's free then?" He winked, making you blush.

 "You'll have to ask her and see. Anyways, she's up here to stay for a few days and to meet my friends"

" Interesting. The names Gonzales. Speedy Gonzales " he said with a charming smile.

 "I'm (y/n), pleased to meet you speedy"

 After he introduced himself to you, you all started taking to each other and you two really got to know each other. What a great guy he was, you quickly hit it off and became friends.

"Oh, look at the time!" He panicked as checked his watch.

 "Why, what's happening tonight?" You asked.

"Well, like I was telling Bugs, as you might not know, I run a restaurant, the pizzariba, and tonight it's fully booked and I wanted Bugs help"

"Well I for one will help"

"You will?"

" Yeah! How about you, Bugs? "

"Eh, why not?" He took another bite of his carrot. " Come on! Let's go serve some serious pizza! "

"Gracias!" Said Speedy. You could tell this was the start of a beautiful friendship.
