As you sat there on the couch, watching out the window, you were watching to see what was happening with road runner and Wile E. You weren't outside because you knew how fast your boyfriend was and could easily escape that darn coyote every time, but something happened that startled you. Whilst it was looking very much like he was winning, Wile E almost caught him. That's right. Almost. You jumped up from your seat and ran outside. You could see the look of fear on his poor face.

 "Road runner!" You cried as you stood at the door with your arms wide open. He heard you and immediately rushed towards you, straight into your arms. You could hear Wile E muttering in the far off distance.

 "Oh road runner, you're all shook up! Come inside" you fretted over him as you saw how close he was to becoming Wile's lunch.

You say him down and told him to wait. You made him a cup of hot cocoa and sat down beside him and petted his head. "You alright?" You asked to which he immediately nodded his adorable head.

"Listen. It's winter time now so it's probably better you stayed indoors and away from that scavenger" 

He just kept watching your eyes with his huge, adorable eyes of his own as you explained this. You both just sat there for a moment quietly, enjoying each others company before he put his wing around you. You started to blush. He put them both around you and you leaned closer and put your head on his shoulder and you two spent that cold evening snuggling together with a movie on the tv.
