"But mom, do I HAVE to do this?" You complained .

 "Yes sweetie, Marvin asked nicely if he could take you to the prom, and I couldn't say no to him. He's a sweet boy, I don't know what you're complaining about" you're mother answered you.

You heard a knock at the door. It was him! Your mother opened to the door. "Marvin! You look handsome tonight!" He blushed and looked down at the clothes he was wearing. " thank you Mrs (l/n), I had the specially ordered and ironed for tonight. Oh! I brought you this" he handed her flowers. "And these for (y/n)" he said, holding a huge box of chocolates. "Where is she anyway?"

 You stepped out wearing your dress and your hair was all done up especially for tonight. He looked in awe at you and how beautiful he thought you were.

 "(y/n), you look perfect" he said with a lovesick look on his face as he gave you your chocolates.

 "Thank you. Let's go now"

 You arrived at the prom. Everyone was there. Bugs and Lola, Daffy and Tina, and if course, you and Marvin. You were reluctant about going with him. He looked like a geek and you didn't think you'd have anything in common with him.

 "Here, I got you some punch" he said cheerfully as he say down at the table with you. Being with you really made his night. "Thanks. Tell me about yourself Marvin" you take a sip of your punch.

 " Well, I moved here from mars a few years ago. I like puppies"

 "Oh my gosh, me too!" Your eyes lit up and your bored expression disappeared.

 "And to play frisbee in the park!" 

 Omg, same"

 He looked a bit more confident now. "And pizza"

 " Yeah!

 "And talking about feelings"

 " omg" you two ended up taking and you found out you both had a lot in common. He was funny and sweet and sensitive.

 "Would you like to dance?" He asks as he puts his hand out.

"I would love to" it was a slow dance to a romantic song. You didn't think you'd ever feel this way about Marvin, but as he pulled you in closer, you just fell deeper in love.

"You know Marvin, I didn't want to come with you tonight.I didn't know what you'd be like, but you're really sweet, and cute" he blushed at this remark.

 "T-thank you. You're really beautiful (y/n), thank you for tonight" you looked into his eyes and kissed him as you danced. Tonight went a LOT better than expected.
