After you had run away from home and met Daffy you got a job, a home and a friend. He was the one who helped and supported you through your hard times and you really admired him. He was so kind to you and you wouldn't have gotten through it without him.

He had introduced you to all of his friends, but the one you noticed had the most impact on him was a grey rabbit named Bugs. Now he was a nice guy, but Daffy seemed very annoyed around him. You didn't look into it too much but still found it strange.

One day, you decided to go to his house to visit the duck. You knocked but he never came to the door. You thought he never heard so you knocked louder. The door was unlocked and opened up by itself and so you let yourself in.

 "Daffy? Where are y..." You stopped as you saw him there, crying in the kitchen.

 "Daffy, what's wrong?" You asked softly as you put your arm around him. 

 "Go away" he said. "I can't have you see me at my ugliest!" He then burst into a rage of bitter tears. You just sat there with him as he wept before speaking up.

"Daffy, I'm your friend. You've supported me through tough times and I want to be there to support you. Please tell me what's wrong"

He stopped his sobbing for a moment to answer you. "It's Bugs"

"What about him?" You asked.

" people always like him more than me! It's not fair! I'm funny, cordial, charming, I think. "

 "Daffy, you're more than all those things, you're wonderful, sweet and inwardly sensitive, and I like that about you" as you stated all this, you started to realise your repressed feelings for him.

 "Y-you really think so?" He smiled weakly.

 "I know so"

 He stopped crying and hugged you. When he stopped, he asked you something. "(y/n), can I ask you a question?"

 " What is it? "

 "It's, well, we've been friends for a while and... 

" And...? "

 "Would you...like to be more than friends?"

 Your pulse was racing.  "What, you mean brother and sister?" You grinned.

 " No! "

 "It's ok Daffy, I know what you mean"

And that was the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
