Jo floated up to the sky, his body wrapping around the country. The Goddess put all the other humans to sleep so they wouldn't witness the horror. Lloyd met him face to face.

"Jo." Lloyd slowly itched his crystal sword to him, the blade on his chin. "I advise you to come to your senses. Enough with this foolishness."

Jo hissed at him, so the other punched him in the mouth, knocking his huge fang out of his gums. The tooth landed on top of city hall, smashing what was left of it. Lightning stroke as the monster blew ice in his face, the other hissing back.

"Very well!" He wiped the icesicles from his cheeks as he grabbed him by his fat neck, spinning him around before throwing him again.

The others were frantically running around, trying to see from all angles. They reached the castle and rushed up the stairs to the roof. Beom couldn't look at the best house he lived in. The walls were broken, the violet sky shining in his eyes.

Sarah flung her head left and right as she carried Luna up the stairs with her. She destroyed the monarchy. The people hated her. At first, she thought it was because they wanted Lloyd back, but now, it was smacking her in the sweaty face. She nearly bankrupted the county during Covid, she neglected it, and her daughter, she didn't care about it because she didn't care about anything yet somehow cared too much about everything.

"Look!" White was running the fastest in his ripped up uniform. He was first on the roof, the coldness and rain making him cough violently into his elbow.

Valentino came up second and rushed to him, rubbing his back and having his arm around him. "Please be careful, I already lost you once, and I'm not about to do it again!"

They watched in horror as Lloyd and Jo fell from the sky, their faces so close that they felt the coldness from their skin. The white-haired one noticed them and trapped them all in a bubble before getting body-slammed by the monster.

"Off of me, you imbecile!" He pushed the snake off him, knocking him into two different states.

The sky was turning black as the hole rapidly came down. The people in the bubble screamed, not knowing what was going on. Lloyd stared at them, his third eye freaking the fuck out of Luna.

"Grandparents, your home is demolished." He saw their faces twist with despair as they looked at each other. "And if I don't stop this, this home and everyone inside it will also terminate."

François was standing beside the animals, who were licking the bubble. "C-Comment résoudriez-vous cela?!"

Jo was flying back, wiggling and hissing. Lloyd fixed his golden robe made of stars, who were hiding with their mother. He took out his sword and stabbed him in the stomach, making him cry out and fall to the ground, building breaking beneath him.

Lily didn't expect herself to cry, but she became so hysterical that Peter had to embrace her and cover her eyes. Da held Étoile's hand, who hid its face in her shoulder. It reminded it of that New Year's night.

Lloyd grabbed Jo and kicked him in his wound, the blood raining down on the bubble. Marie and Beom hugged each other, not knowing rather to celebrate or grieve all over again.

The people knew this wasn't the man they loved. The God, person, thing in front of them wasn't the man that cried during Disney movies, brought birdhouses all around the country and around his house to care for and talk to the birds, cradle his dogs and sing to them, or the man that would have their smiles and tears at the palm of his hand.

The thing in front of them was throwing around a creature, though they found it hard to find any sympathy towards. The thing was laughing hysterically, blood running down his face. He was borderline satanic, it seemed like this whole thing was a game to him that he never wanted to end.

François held the cat as Lloyd stabbed Jo in his eyes, covering his mouth. He was more in love than ever, yet was just as horrifed. It took Lloyd forever to get angry. He never imagined him to laugh and twirl his former brother around like a toy. It was sick, and dangerously hot.

"Here you are, my dear boy!" Lloyd ripped out Jo's eye, Ho turning around to vomit while his father embraced him. He crushed it into his hands and threw it in the bubble, François catching it. He saw a ruby ring that shined like no other. "A token of my love!" His finger shook as he put it on. It fit like a damn glove.

Da brought her siblings close to her while the fight continued. They remembered a very specific scene from Lloyd's childhood. He swung one of the cat's toys like a tornado, laughing as he fell down from the excitement and dizziness. They remembered laughing over it with their older brother. He was chubby, drooling, and wearing the cutest little tiger shirt. He was doing the same thing again with Jo, giggling hysterically as he knocked himself over into a village, the other falling to the ground. They didn't know that they still loved him enough to be scared for him.

"Get prepared for Winter!" He threw ice shards at his face, throwing his head back to laugh and smack his knee, the sound knocking over his grandfather.

He picked his shaking body up and flew up to the hole. It'll work, it has to work. He threw Jo into another building again just for the hell of it, the creature whimpering and laying its head pathetically down. Marie let out a sob.

"Now this will all be over." His smile reached his ears again as he turned to his family, who cringed and made themselves smaller. He put his sword in him again and held up like a sausage, twisting him around as he screamed. "Watch, my loved ones. This burden will be no more."

"Lloyd.." Da-Eun was holding her husband's arm, who was speechless. "You-"

He put his face to the bubble, the others shouting and hiding behind each other. He scanned around with his eyes, sinfully enjoying the fear he caused.

He smiled warmly at his shaking mother, her other children to her side. "I'm awfully sorry your womb was forced to house such a disgusting creature, my dearest mother."

To show his apologies, he picked the monster up and kicked him in the stomach hard enough for the creature to roll its eyes back. Marie sunk to the ground, her hands covering her belly. Beom had his hands on her shoulders, trying to convince her she couldn't feel it.

"Oh, my darling dad." He backed away and hid behind his own father like a scared little boy, Su-Yeong trying to control his trembling as he covered his boys with his arm. "I apologize to you as well, your sperm was a waste."

"N-no, lovely son." Beom spoke softly, fearing upsetting him. "I love all of you."

He laughed again, the high sound making Ho and Étoile cover their ears. "Oh, you humans have a habit of wasting your love."

He pulled his sword out and grabbed Jo by the end of his tail, making him cry out again. His siblings screamed all at once, so Lloyd cut off the tail and crushed it into jewelry for them, throwing it inside. Sarah crawled back from it, her legs refusing to work. He blew a kiss to his husband, who smiled shakily.

He held him up to the black hole, beginning to laugh so loud that the sidewalk below his feet formed a crack. "Goodbye!"

Two stars broke and got in his face. Lloyd held with his third arm as he rubbed his eyes, his entire body burning. He opened his now brown eyes, looking around him. The country was in utter chaos, his family were huddling together and staring him as if he were the monster, and he was holding his weak older brother.

"Dear God, what am I doing?"

Susu saw the fear in his eyes, being the first to stand up. "Lloyd, it's okay! You just a little too carried away!"

He turned to her, his third purple eye crying blood. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

"Yeah, love!" François showed off Jr, that made him smile. "Just keep doing what you're doing!"

"What was I-" he turned to see Jo groaning and crying blood.

Beom became a man again, holding his wife's hand. "It's okay, my baby! Just do what you need to! We won't be angry!"

He looked back at his family, at Jo, then the hole. He tried to shut his eyes and push him in. As much he needed to, he didn't want to. It would go everything he was taught, what his heart believed in.

He froze Jo's body the same way he froze the rose a year ago. He hugged him like a puppy, rubbing his bloody and cut body. He threw him down next to the bubble, his body causing a mini earthquake. Da-Eun wailed and ran to him, pleading with Lloyd to open the bubble.

"Lloyd, what about the hole?" Da held Food back as she saw it get closer.

He stared at it. When he realized what he had to do, he covered his mouth.

"Appa, Mama, I'm so sorry." Beom instantly felt lightheaded. "I'm so sorry for everything I've ever done."

"Lloyd John Doh-Sauveterre." Marie's voice quivered as she stood tall. "Come inside this bubble right now! Or else!"

He started to sob, wiping his tears with his long fingers. He reached inside the bubble and gave Su-Yeong the sword. Him and Da-Eun eyed him, both pale.

"You know how you always call me shining star?" He smiled before crying again, positioning himself.

Susu had her hand on the bubble. "Lloyd. Lloyd, stop."

"Little brother, you're scaring us!" Da had to keep Étoile from fainting. "Just get in here, we'll figure it out together!"

"I wish we could." He picked up something and gave it to her. Da opened her hand to see a flower. "I wish I could've done so many things different."

Valentino reached out, but White stopped them. Any soldier would know the outcome.

Lloyd started backing up. François banged on the bubble, Benjamin barking as the others silently watched.

"Franny, I love you." He saw the look of desperation engulfing his eyes, the eyes he loved most. "Please take care of yourself."

"YO-HAN!" Beom gasped. The therapist that helped Lloyd when he first immigrated to Vagu said to never mention his old life. The fact that his son remembered his old middle name enough to tell his spouse made him sick to his stomach. "YOU CAN'T! YOU HAVE NOWHERE TO GO! I-I CAN'T DO IT AGAIN!" The redhead started to wail, sinking to the floor.

Haruki stopped the redhead and looked at his cousin wide-eyed. He regretted every time he was annoyed with him. He regretted not spending time with him. "Lloyd..."

They watched in horror as Lloyd turned into a twinkling blue light and flung himself at the hole. The force completely destroyed the blackhole, and the sky was once again blue. The bubble broke open. They looked for any sign of him, and they got it in the form of stardust snowing onto them.

Jo groaned and got up, the ice melting from him. Along with the ice were scales. He stood up, his long black hair touching the floor. He looked over to everyone. He never felt so ill before. Valentino rushed over and punched him in his stomach, screaming at him as White dragged him away, in fear of what he would do.

"NO!" Étoile shouted at the top of its lungs as it pointed at him, tears falling from their faces. "I DON'T WANT HIM HERE, I WANT LLOYD BACK!"

His voice was soft for once, his body cold and naked. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry..."

"Shut up." Beom and Marie couldn't even look at him as Su-Yeong spoke to their son, too busy trying to catch what was left of their youngest in their hands. "You ruined everything."

François was trying to collect stardust in a desperate attempt to put Lloyd back together, Sarah and Luna trembling as they tried to help him. The animals were crying and looking around for their owner, not understanding that he was falling on top of them.

"You didn't fucking deserve it." Peter stared into his soul as Da and Lily sobbed from behind him, his lip quivering. "You took everything from them."

Ho came up to him, crying so much that he could barely see. He was the only one to embrace him, saying that he could still change. Su-Yeong was busy comforting his son, and Da-Eun had to comfort François when the stardust melted in his warm hands, feeling like Lloyd's touch was finally slipping from him.

The Gods both came, along with the stars that happily played in the sunlight. Beom punched at Oceanus's cloth until his brother tearfully dragged him away, wailing and throwing himself onto the ground.

"We understand that this is very difficult." He looked to his wife before adding, "We didn't attend for this to happen."

"IF YOU'RE SO FUCKING POWERFUL, WHY DIDN'T YOU DO SOMETHING!?" Lily was red in the face as she pointed at the guity giants. "WHY DID YOU MAKE HIM DO IT, YOU BASTARDS!"

The goddess frowned at her. "If we did, our powers would've killed all of you in mear seconds."

Beom stood up, his eyes bloodshot and his voice deep. "I would rather be dead then have this happen!"

"No, sweetheart!" Marie hugged his torso while on her knees, her voice high. "I can't lose you either! You look just like him!"

He embraced her, sinking back down. "You sound like him, Marie."

Jo, afraid to raise his voice, whispered, "Is he really gone...?"

"No."

The Gods and the family looked to the sky. A man was walking down a staircase made from the clouds. It was a short, white-haired man. François ran over to kiss him, mistaking him for Lloyd. He screamed and sobbed into his hands when he realized it wasn't him.

"Good day." The man wore an old looking battle uniform as he bowed, taking off his hat. "Surely, you do not know me."

He showed them a flower, his blue eyes reflecting the golden light. Da-Eun bowed to him, followed by the still sobbing Su-Yeong.

"This all started with me, and this plant." He put the flower in his hair. He stared at his bloodline. "And it will end with me."

Lily muttered under her breath, "...How?"

"You have met my daughter once before, the one that whispers." He looked incredibly uncomfortable as he spoke. "When she had departed and had nowhere to go, I wished for her to be saved. They had refilled my request, though I cannot see her any longer."

Étoile blurted out, "She doesn't wear clothes, she's very naked." Marie covered its mouth and looked to man apologetically. He surprisingly laughed.

"She always had a way with her, my little one." He felt the last speck of stardust fall onto his shoulder. "And it seems as though you lost a little one as well." Beom nodded, then broke down again. "Do not weep, grandson. I had yet to tell you my second wish."

He stared at Da-Eun, frightening her. He smiled warmly at her. "You had the gift as well, but it was clear the task wasn't made for you. You would've been placed with my grandchildren, but I knew you wouldn't have wanted that. So, I had wished for you and your descendants to live in the home you own the sky. The home will always be there, so despite the snake-" he pointed to Jo, who turned a deep red and covered his face with his hair. "-destroying it, it had rebuilt itself. You are free to return to it after I am done."

Before Da-Eun could thank him, the Goddness turned to him. "I can sense what you are formulating."

He smiled at her. Marie and Beom didn't take their eyes off him, he looked just like their son. "I wish for the little one to be returned and to face death no longer."

The goddess opened the clouds, and the other little man came rushing down the steps. He jumped into his mother's arms, sobbing uncontrollably. The family again welcomed him back, Jo still to the side.

"I-I don't know w-what came over me! I was so evil!" Lloyd was crying blood, staining his pale skin.

Marie moved his hair from his brown eyes, kissing them. "No, you did everything right! We're so proud of you!"

He was put down to be embraced by the others. Again, his appearance had changed. His eyes were brown, he was wearing his old uniform, his hair looked the way it did before the war, and his hair was black with white streaks visible.

"Oh, Lloydie!" François didn't let him go, not like the other was complaining. "You scared us half to death!"

He hugged him tight, feeling the warmth from him. "I'm so sorry!"

The man, Astrophel, began to climb up the stairs. He waved goodbye to Lloyd before closing the door, the clouds going back to normal.

"You never do that ever again!" White tried to sound tough, but his voice was trembling more than he was.

He turned to Jo. Everyone stopped, waiting to see what he would do. He walked over to him, standing in front of him.

"Look at me, Jo." He stared at him, tears rolling down his face. "I'm hurt by you, you've hurt everyone." He pointed to them. "I see I already beat you up, which I don't regret."

Jo nodded, his face bloody and bruised. He looked human, only having two swollen brown eyes. He held his breath, expecting another punch. Instead, he felt two arms around him and wetness on his torso. He looked down and saw his little brother's face buried inside him.

"Please be my friend. That's all I ever wanted." His voice was high. Beom leaned on Marie, his heart heavy. "I want to forgive you, but I need you to change. I really need you to change."

He hugged him back, stroking his hair. "I will. I swear to God I will."

The siblings came up to them. Lily moved Lloyd closer to her, not saying anything to Jo.

"You hurt us, you know that?" Étoile's eyes shined like gems. Jo wanted the ground to swallow him whole. "You killed Lloyd, you turned us against Aurora, you.." it sobbed for a while, Lily embracing it as her blue-eyes burned. "...you did so many bad things. I don't think I can forgive you, at least for now."

He nodded before speaking. "I understand. I will try to be better. I'm sorry I made her-" Lloyd gave him a shy smile as François went to wrap his arm around him. "-sound so evil. I made the wrong person sound like a monster."

He cried into his hand. Da, with her lip trembling, finally walked to him. He began apologizing, then wailed as she hugged him.

Lloyd turned to his other siblings. Only Susu gave Jo a handwave before her sister pulled her and the others close. Ho ran to him again and embraced him.

"I'm happy you're going to change." Jo felt warm again as his uncle patted his shoulder. "But you're going to need to work on forgiveness, and realize what you did wrong."

"Okay."

Their parents came up to him. Beom hid his children behind him as he stared down Jo. He hated how much he looked like him.

"You need to work on yourself before I can talk to you." She turned away and rubbed Étoile's back, who was still crying.

It was a blow, but he knew it was justified. His father reached for him, just like in the dream. "I want to get to know you, but I'm siding with your mother." His son nodded. Beom held in a sob. "What's your favorite color?"

He longed to be held again. "Pink."

"Welcome back." Da-Eun hugged him. She wanted to do this for so many years. Jo looked over her shoulder and saw his grandfather's back to him as he comforted his children.

Lloyd jumped when he saw a staircase being formed again, this time by the stars. The Goddness smiled at him as Oceanus grinned.

"It's nice to see you again, my dear." Marie gave him a dirty look as the God winked at her. "Lloyd, this is your new home!"

His face fell. He felt François' grip tighten. "Home?"

"Yes. You will live up here with your grandparents-" Their faces lit up. They'll have a grandchild again. "- and when we need you, we'll be able to get you much easier."

He started weeping again. François covered him with his arms as his parents stood in front of him.

"If he doesn't want to go, he doesn't have to!" He held Marie's hand from behind her back.

Su-Yeong put hands on their shoulders. "Sweethearts, if they need him to do it, he must go."

"I'm terribly bemused. Didn't you like it up with the stars?"

He looked at her, François wiping his tears. "I'm tired of leaving my family. I want to stay, please."

Oceanus looked at his wife, then at the human. "You can see them anytime you like, but you can't live here anymore. This isn't your home, yet it never truly was. You were always so different, and that's a beautiful thing, is it not?"

He looked to the others. His father stroked his hair, and his mother gave him a gentle smile. Da-Eun and Su-Yeong were already gone, waiting for him.

"Do what you need to do." She hugged him tight, wiping her tears. "Visit us often."

"We're so proud of you." Lloyd's heart was burning, though he didn't know from what. "You've made us the happiest."

"Wait." He took François' hand, who was silently crying. "I'm not leaving without my husband." Apple barked as the other pets waited by the stairs. "And my pets."

The Goddness nodded slowly. "I can not make someone a widow once more, knowing the agony. Only if he will allow me to."

"Yes." It frightened him how quick the other agreed. He was already going to the steps.

He grabbed his hand, making him look back. "Franny, wait. Are you sure about this?"

"Of course I am." He held both of his hands, staring into his eyes. "Why would I hesitate? I'll be with you. I'll never leave in fear of you not coming back."

He sniffled, tears falling from his face. Lloyd wiped them, the taller touching his hands. "François, you've always belonged here. This is your world, and it loves you. Although I love it too, it's not mine."

He shook his head and grasped his shoulders. "My Lloyd, this world is meaningless without love, and you own my heart. It beats just for you. I'm fine leaving here. Bella will understand, and Marcel is grown-up now."

They hugged each other. The sun shined on them as they kissed.

"What will happen now?" Peter held Lily's hand as he wiped her tears. Beom looked on, realizing that he was an okay son-in-law. Not as good as François, though.

Oceanus turned to them. "Well, we can do a time reversal. We can't reverse the years, but we can get rid of the fact that people know that Lloyd had returned. They will think François had also passed."

Lloyd looked to him. He looked down, so he gave him a kiss on a cheek. "It's for the best."

Sarah turned to Beom. "Uncle, I hate to ask you this-"

"-yes, I'll be the king again. I wouldn't mind." He saw Luna beam. "I would need an heir, however."

Lily didn't want to. She wanted to have the quiet life that her grandmother always talked about it. Étoile, remembering what happened to Lloyd, refused. Jo wasn't even an option. Da stood tall and said she would do it. The deal was made: after ten years, she'll be queen.

"Come on, my love." François held his hand for him as he had his left foot on the second step. The animals were already racing each other up. "It's time to go."

The goddess held Oceanus' hand. "Your house is waiting for you up in the clouds."

They left as well. Lloyd looked back. Everyone looked so happy as they waved to him. He finally felt like a winner. He actually did something right.

He took François' hand and walked up the stairs with him, not looking back until the door closed behind them.
