Deleted Lines/Scenes

Hey guys, this is a New Year's gift! (Happy Death Day to Lloyd and Anniversary to him and Franny! 💪😔)

These are deleted scenes that for one reason or another just didn't fit or I didn't write. NONE of these are cannon.

-----

(Deleted Lines from "The Return." In the original story scripts, the Goddess was going to be a villainous character, more blunt and controlling. In this scene, which has no acting and little descriptive details, Lloyd finally discovers his own death. This takes place in space, and all the other Dohs (Ji-hye, Jeanette, and Ye-eun) don't exist.

L: "I-I don't understand! Where is my family? My friends? Rowan? Where is my God?!"

G: "My darling, why must you be so foolish? Your friends had moved on, Rowan has moved on. They don't need you anymore. They never needed you."

L: "That's not true!"

G: "Oh, but it is, my star. Your family doesn't want you anymore. Why didn't your family come to rescue you? Why did your brother do what he did?"

L: "..."

G: "They don't love you."

L: "Stop! Stop it!"

G: "God can't love you, because God doesn't exist."

L: "You lair! I want to go home! I-"

G: "My love, enough of that crying. You are home. You've always had a place here. Think closely. You were never left nor mistreated here."

L: "...I want my mother! I want my father! Please! I'm afraid!"

G: "Everything you believed in was a lie." She then takes off the Star of David around his neck and crushes it in his hand. "It was never true."

L: "....Then what is real..."

The Goddess then takes out his eyes and replaces them with stars, like in the original. She cradles him in her hand.

G: "Only myself, my dear hero. I am your true savior."

Since we're on that chapter, let's introduce another unused idea. Lloyd's "monster" form, his snake form, was going to be worse. After he did what the Giant wanted, he demanded to be sent to Earth. The Giant, angered by this, made him into a spider-like creature with eight legs, four eyes, white fur covering his body, wings, and having the ability to control plants instead of ice. This was scrapped because the cannon Goddess is MUCH kinder than this lmao.

The book also took a different turn from the original script. Luna was going to be a main character, François would've been forced to live in the basement of the castle due to his insanity, and the book would've been more depressing. (If that's even possible lol)

Instead of the lovely cannon reunion at home, François would've been out hunting due to Luna's positive influence. Underneath the July moonlight in Vagu, François finally gets what he wanted for ten, yes ten, years. Sarah, madden by grief and pressure, traps him in the castle basement and tries to fix his hallucination outbursts with shock therapy and a failed arranged marriage, which ends almost as quick as it started. Luna, the hero of the story, allows him a brief moment outside to hunt. His job is to bring something back, or else.

"I don't know why I must do this." François looked around as he walked into the forest, the moon being his only source of light. "Lloyd wouldn't want this..."

He stopped, collecting himself before going on. Lloyd would be screaming at him to stop. He would never want him to hurt an animal, to be holding a gun to an innocent face. He wouldn't want him to be doing a lot of things. To be crazy, to be trapped in a dirty basement by his cousin, to be alone.

He swung his fat body to the left when he heard a whimper, followed by a white mass running away from him. He rushed after it despite not wanting to.

"Please run away, whatever you are." He stomped near a tree, making sure to walk on branches and leaves. "Please go."

"..François..?"

He nearly dropped his gun. He screamed at the top of his lungs, banging his fist against his head.

"I'm tired of the voices!" He cocked his gun and marched over to the white mass hiding behind the tree. "I'm tired of this! I'm either going to kill you or kill myself!"

Before he could have a chance to put a bullet in, he heard sobbing. Wailing, even. His teary eyes widen. It couldn't be him. Not him. His mind, it was playing cruel tricks. He knew better than to believe it, but it sounded so real, so genuine. So painful.

He went to it, his gun to his side. He shouted and stumbled back when he saw the creature staring back at him in shock, crawling back and covering his eyes.

"What are you!" He screamed like a little girl when it started crawling towards him, its many long legs going in different directions. "What are you?!"

He expected it to kill him, maybe even eat him. He wouldn't have mind it, anything is better than going back to the castle. Instead, the creature put the gun to its forehead, blood running down its face and staining its fur a bright pink.

"Kill me, Franny!" The redhead gasped, now seeing a ring shining on one of its arms. He grasped it, and saw the beautiful wedding ring he missed so dearly. "Get it over with! I rather have it be me than you!"

He threw his gun to the ground and embraced him, crying into his hairy body. Lloyd tried to cover himself with his arms and legs, wailing about how hideous he had become.

"No, you're beautiful, so beautiful!" He took off his cap and hung it over his shoulders. He touched his face and started kissing it. "Oh, Lloyd! You don't know what they've done to me!"

He touched his hands and closed his eyes. François looked on as the reddest rose grew from his hand. He then smiled at him as he put in his frizzy hair, four of his arms around him.

"I'll fix it all." He put his head on his shoulders, the other's long hair protecting him from the peeking stars. "Just help me, please."

Alright, we're running out of time. This is the last one, and from the first book! Surprisingly, the script for that book hadn't changed at all. However, Mulligan and Charles were going play bigger parts. Mulligan was supposed to join the war, can you believe that mess? Charles was going to join, but in this unwritten scene, he's stopped.

Charles threw his suitcase on the bed and went to the closet. The maid saw him throw different clothes in while she rushed to get the man of the house out of his study. As coats, socks, and shirts flew in the air, the door slammed opened.

"Charles Johnson!" His father spun him by his shoulders, his glasses shiny. "Stop it this instant!"

He moved back and went to his draw, taking out his motion-sickness and ADHD pills. "No, dad! I'm going, and you can't stop me!"

He pushed his hand away from the suitcase, a bottle of pills landing on the blue mat underneath their feet. "If you do this, I'll...I-I'll send you back to America! You'll live with your aunt and be poor! There's no ponies or maids there!"

"I don't care!"

The man called for his wife. She came in seconds later, her white flowery dress trailing behind her.

"Charles." Her hazel eyes were big as she saw Charles open another suitcase for his clothes. "Charles, stop it!"

He spun around, tears falling from his eyes. He saw his parents standing like deers, looking on as if the world was ending. "What am I supposed to do?! My best friend is out there! My friends are out there! Am I supposed to just sit around and rot?!" He shut the case tight and held both of them in his hands. "To hell I will!"

The woman blocked the door with her body, her hand resting on the cold knob. "No! No, no, no!"

"Mother, let me go!"

They thought about Lloyd's parents. They known them for years. They were always so jolly looking, always in a rush and being the light of the parties they invited them too. Now, with their only child being away at bootcamp, it seems like someone flipped a switch in the home. When Mrs. Johnson went by this morning, Mr. Doh was laying on the sofa, as dead as a doorknob. When she tried to engage in conversation with him, he could barely speak, instead looking at the floor the whole time. Mrs. Sauveterre came home from work shortly before she left and went straight to bed without so much as a passing glance. Two zombies, those two.

As his wife and son fought, the man dropped to his knees and clung to Charles. It took everyone by surprise.

"Please stop!" His voice shook from desperation as he grasped his leg. "Don't kill us! Don't kill us!"

He tried to step back, but the other's grasp was too strong. "...What?!"

"We can't stand it!" He made Charles go down with him. He touched his soft skin, tears and snot getting in his brown mustache. "If you die out there, it'll kill us! We'll have nothing else to lose, a-and when a man has nothing to lose, he's dead! He's dead!"

His mother went to them as he spoke. "B-But what about the house?! The company, our money?!"

She grabbed his arm, tears ruining her red makeup. "None of that shit matters! We can't buy another baby, it took years to have you and it'll take only a second to lose you!" She embraced him as well. "Just say you'll stay...just stay with me..."

He swallowed before wrapping his arms around both of them. He sobbed, his giant tears falling like raindrops in his mother's short curly hair. "I'll stay."

Well, that's it! Writing this book has been so much fun! What's your opinion on these? Once again, thank you for reading. :)
