"This is a Warning"

A/N: I write this specifically for Teaful's Library, which is a library found in ROBLOX. Yes I unironically started playing that game.
I think this is based on a story I've read somewhere years ago, though I forgot what story. I don't know why I remembered it, but here I am putting my own twist to it.

Somehow, you found this. Maybe by chance. Maybe a coincidence. Or maybe... fate. No matter what it may be, you'll for sure find this useful. What I'm about to say is important.

This isn't a book. I know you found it in a library's bookshelf so it must be a book, but no. Don't be fooled by its cover, for this is not a book at all. This is a warning.

They're here, and they can see you. They can see you right now. They can see you reading this warning I've written for you. We may not see them, and we may not know if they have eyes at all... but they can see.

What are they exactly? Well, I don't know either. No one has ever seen them ever, but they're here, and they exist. They're good at hiding, it's what they're best at. They lurk in the shadows. They move when they know no one's looking. That's how they don't get caught.

Are you alone? You'll be vulnerable to them if you're alone. When no one's looking out for you, that's when they try to get closer. Can you feel them watching you behind your back? Can you feel their presence around you?

You can't run away from them, you know? No one knows how fast they move. They're everywhere. They're in this library, outside this library, in every game in roblox. Maybe even outside roblox... Look around the room you are in right now. Are they there?

So far, I've seen no records of sightings of them, that's why people think they're just rumors. But you've felt their presence at least once, don't you? It's when you know no one's with you, but you feel you're not alone. You're really not alone, you never were... They're always there.

Again, no one has ever seen them, but let's not feel too safe just yet. They're still trying to get closer to you. One day, they'll show themselves once they're close enough and we'll never know when that will happen. And we'll never know what they'll do to you.

Don't say I didn't warn you...
