After Naruto, Shikamaru, Choji, Neji and Kiba , were assigned a mission to bring Sasuke back to the village. They did the best they could but came back unsuccessful and badly injured. Kiba healed quicker than the others due the food pills he and Akamaru consumed before they fought, and so he woke up first.

Kiba P.O.V
When I woke up I felt an intense pain in my stomach, it felt like I was beaten up by Rock Lee on steroids.

I scanned my surrounding and realized I was in the a hospital room, turning to my left I saw Akamaru, sleeping in the doggy bed next to me. He had a surgical cast wrapped around his body, and apparently so did I, but not as much as him.

At that moment I remembered the fight we had against the Sound Four Ninjas. Akumaru and I, would've barely made it out alive if it wasn't for Kankuro showing up and helping us out.

"Wow, those guys were tough. Hope you're doing okay buddy." I thought as I reached down and scratched Akumaru's ear gently.

I saw flowers and get well cards on the nightstand, and in the corner of the room, they must be from my family. There was also a box of ointment, I chuckled, it must be from Hinata and the rest of my team.

"Where are the others?" I paused.

I got up out of the bed, kissed Akamaru on the head and walked out of my room to search for the others.

I walked down the hall and saw Choji and Shikamaru in one room, Ino was there too they were all sleeping. The guys looked really beaten up from what I could see, they must've really put up a fight out there.

"They must be exhausted. I know I surely am."

"But, I'm glad you guys are okay, please continue to rest well."

I continued moving down the hall until I saw Neji in another room his eyes were wrapped with one of those hot towels, he must've over used his powers. Him and Choji fought before me, I didn't get to see how they are held up against them.

" Take it easy Neji" I mumbled, pressing my hand against the glass.

It didn't take long for a realization to hit me though.

"If these guys are this badly injured then, what about Naruto?"

I immediately moved as fast as I could to look for Naruto, swiftly limping down the hall and check the individual rooms in hopes of finding him.

I shouldn't have let him go against Sasuke by himself, but I was just too weak. Why did I have to stop and fight that guy? If I had just kicked his ass, I could've been by Naruto's side.

I came to a halt and stopped at a door that had the most beautiful view I've ever seen in this hospital, and inside of it I saw Naruto.

I opened the door and moved closer to where he laid , he looked so beautiful. The moonlight just glistening on his skin, his hair slowly moving with the wind and the smell of ramen that lingered in the room. Just beautiful.

"It's all my fault you're in here. I should've been there to fight with you, to protect you. If I did then maybe we would've gotten Sasuke back. If you could hear me right now you'd probably think I'm weak too" I said out loud.

A single tear ran down my face and landed on Naruto's cheek and started to slide down his chin, I lowered my face to his and kissed the stray tear away.

"Naruto, I love you. I can't imagine you feeling the same way towards me, but I'd do anything for you. If going after Sasuke is what you want then I'll be there for you, every step of the way. "I mumbled against his cheek.

I turned around to walk back to my room, but halted when I heard a voice call my name.

Naruto P.O.V
I've been awake for a while now. Kurama's chakra has been speeding up my recovery. Physically, but emotionally it still hurts. I endangered my friend's lives, all for Sasuke. And he still left, even leaving me for death.

I heard footsteps approaching me door. I quickly pretended to be asleep, thinking it was Sakurai or a nurse. Neither of which I wanted to talk too.

The person entered my room and began to speak, I quickly realized it was Kiba. I heard all of what Kiba said, I felt when his tear touched my cheek and when he kissed it away and more importantly, I heard when he said he loved me.

When he turned around and started walking away, I opened my eyes as the tears began to form.

"Kiba?" I called out to him.

He stopped and turned around, he looked more sad than surprised to see me awake. But, he still ran back to me and held me tightly in his arms, to which I reciprocated.

"Kiba, I didn't know you felt this way, if I did I would have never brought you guys into this. I got you all hurt and we failed the mission it's not your fault, it's all mine. You're not the weak one, I am."I admitted to him, holding my head low as my tears streamed down my face.

He broke the hug lifted my chin. He looked me in the eyes and said" Naruto, don't talk about yourself like that, it's not your fault. We would've never let you go off on your own. We risked everything just for you not because of you, but because we wanted too." He explained.

"Don't make us feel like we failed you, especially me. I should've been there for you." He confessed turning his head away from mine.

"You're right. You didn't have to be there for me. I could've handled my self Kiba." I reassured him.

"That's not the only reason why I wanted to be there for you." Kiba breathed not making eye contact with me.

"Then what is it?" I asked him turning his head back around to face me, but he still avoided eye contact.

"If you weren't sleeping before you would've heard it yourself." He confessed looking my directly in the eyes.

I could feel my breathing get heavy at the close proximity of his body to mine. I hadn't even realized how long I've been holding his chin since I turned him around to face me.

"How can you feel that way towards someone like me?" I asked him. He raised a hand to wipe away the stray tear that travelled down my face.

"Just being near you, knowing that you're okay and getting to stare into you eyes are some of the many reasons, why I love you. I know you may not feel this way about me, but I do." He replied.

My eyes started watering again as I leaned forward and wrapped my arms around Kiba's neck. He slowly and timidly wrapped his arms around my waist and move his head, to look into my eyes.

"Going after Sasuke, I realized something. I don't like him romantically, but rather as a brother. I guess I was mixing my feelings with him and someone else. That someone else, just so happens to be you Kiba." I paused biting my lip nervously at what I'm about to say.

"I think I love you too Kiba." I confessed, slowly bringing his face further to mine. I could feel his breath tickling the hairs on my skin. I looked into his and he stared back into mine. I couldn't resist him anymore. He put his own life on the line, for me.

So, I leaned forward and thanked him for everything, with a slight passionate kiss.

Kiba P.O.V
When Naruto kissed me, I climbed on top of his bed and placed him on my lap. Then I wrapped my arms around his body and deepened our kiss. My tongue brushed against his lips lower lip asking for entrance and it was granted. Our tongues danced around to a nice rhythm while Naruto grinded against my dick by accident every now and then, I definitely didn't mind.

We broke the kiss before we both run out oxygen and pass out.

"You're an amazing kisser, Kiba Inuzuka." He said almost out of breath.

"You're even better." I replied, kissing him on the nose.

"I'll always be here for you Naruto you can count on it, I won't be leaving the village without you." I promised him.

"That's very specific. Is someone jealous?" He teased.

"Pfft, of course not, I'm here with you. He should be the jealous one." I retorted with a smirk.

"I'm just saying if you every wanna go and look for Sasuke again. No matter the risk, count me in." I finished.

"You don't have to do that Kiba." He pouted.

"I'm going too. Can't leave my future boyfriend all by himself." I smirked.

"Future boyfriend? Geez, take a guy out for dinner first at least." He chuckled.

"I will, don't worry about it. As soon as we all heal up. You can definitely count it." I promised.

He blushed and covered his face in my chest, I chuckled at how cute he looked. We laid down and I covered us with the bed sheet.

"I love you too Kiba. Thank you for everything. I want to get Sasuke back, but first I need to make it up too you." He said looking at me with a big grin.

"I love you too, Naruto." I whispered in his ear as he cuddled up next to me. Pressing his back snuggly against my front.

I wrapped my arm around his waist, controlling the urge to spoon him. I resisted and gave him a peck on the cheek before we both feel into a blissful sleep.
