Leaving Yaoyorozu safe and out of sight of the close villains you jumped from your hiding spot. Immediately their attention drew to you.

You surged with energy and strength thanks to Yaoyorozu, you gave them a wide uneasy grin.

"There's that brat!" A lousy low villain exclaimed, pointing at you.

Two other lowly villains glared at you.
One charged at you, and you stood still, unfazed by him. Before he could reach you you dashed through him. He stood in disbelief and a second later gashes appeared all over his body, sending him to the ground quickly.

"Who's next?" You said cockily as you flicked the blood off your nails.

The last two villains stared daggers through you. They looked angry but were still shaking in their shoes. Neither of them initiated any attack.

"I guess I'll have to start this myself." You shrugged and ran at one of them, with little time to dodge you practically pick him up and sent him flying at a tree.

"You might wanna do something before you end up like your friend other there." You chuckled and motioned at the motionless villain.

You watched as he drew his dagger with a shaky hand. Something on the knife caught your eye.

"Blood... Yaoyorozu's blood! This must be the one who hurt her."

With rage, you quickly kicked him into a near tree. While he was down you picked him up by the neck, slowly piercing his neck with your nails. You watched as he struggled under your grip, his nails digging into your extended arm.

"Y/n!" You heard from behind you.

You whipped your head around, finding Yaoyorozu struggling to stay on her feet, one hand gripping her arm. "We have more company, there's a Nomu.." She said breathlessly, making you look at the Nomu that has its eyes on you.

"Hide!" You yelled at the girl, slamming the villain to the ground, glancing at the Nomu in fear.

Even after working with the league for some time you still feared the large creatures, knowing the multiple quirks they can harness.

The large Nomu gave a loud exhale of air before charging aimlessly at you. You stood in fear before finally snapping back to attack. You launched yourself off the ground to kick the Nomu, charging it from above. The Nomu deflected your attack by swiping its arm at you, hitting you with force and sending you to the ground.

You hit the forest floor with great force, wincing on impact. You jumped back up, and you went to dash out of sight but couldn't move.

"What the?!" You took notice of the black tar that had you stuck to the ground.

"It's quirk!" You struggled to lift yourself, being stuck straight in its path.

Once again it charged aimlessly at you, without having an option to dodge you took the blow, ripping you from the tar but into a tree. You slid to the ground, your lower half being engulfed in deep tar. The more you struggle the more you become stuck in the tar's grasp, leaving you defenceless.

The Nomu turned around once more, giving you the same look it gave you before charging at you. You gained the strength to pull your arm from the thick tar, using your nails to slash at the substance. With enough strength and swiftness, you carved yourself out of its grasp, getting the chance to move from the Nomu's brainless attacks. It charged straight past you into nearby forestry.

You stood hunched over, spitting out the blood that pooled in your mouth onto the dirty ground. After a quick stretch, you felt your posture straighten out, presumably from broken bones being mended back together by your enhanced regeneration.

"You're a real pain in the ass." You spat, locking eyes with the demented creature that turned your way once more.

As you predicted it ran right for you, creating another tar pool. Since it lacks battle IQ you could easily determine its next attacks. You moved out of the way before the tar could latch onto you. You ran straight for the Nomu as it ran at you. It went to swipe its massive arm your way as an attack but you quickly moved out of the way, making it leave itself wide open for an attack. You took the opportunity and drilled your nails straight into its chest, making it yell and stumble over. You jumped off its body back into the ground, watching it flail around to get back up.

Your attack majorly wounded the Nomu, hitting its vital spot. As you watched the weakening Nomu drag itself along the ground you noticed it reached for a tree. It easily pulled the tree from the ground, you expect it to toss it at you as one last attack but instead, it began to eat it. Wood chips flew everywhere as it devoured the greenery.

"What the fu..." You trailed off and stood in horror as the Nomu stood back up, seemingly growing in size. Your eyes widened as the creature grew to twice its original size, peering straight down at you.

A cold shiver of impending doom shook through your almost frozen body, making it almost impossible to move.

"H..how.." You uttered, it took one of the trees it had in its colossal hands and threw it straight at you. You dashed out of the way just barely, stumbling away.

"Think Y/n, think!"

You frantically tried to think of ways to defeat this beast, your chest tightening in fear. "I cannot go out like this!"

You exhaled deeply, knowing that not panicking in this situation was nearly impossible but you had to keep it to a minimum.

"What did the league do when they had to fight Mt. Lady," You thought deeply about your companions' fighting skills, wishing they were here now, "of course, I have to knock it down, eliminate its advantage of height it has on me if I can get it to fall over than maybe.." You formulated a plan, not the best but any plan would be of help at this given time.

Knowing this Nomu had the anatomy similar to a human, slashing its achilles tendon would be the best way to knock it over. Just as the Nomu did you aimlessly ran at the colossal creature. It looked down at you as if an ant in its path, sweeping you off the ground effortlessly with this leg, kicking you flat into a rock.

You went stiff as the rock shattered behind you, similar to the trauma your bones were currently experiencing. You coughed and heaved in the air that burned your lungs, a streak of blood running from your mouth.

"This thing is a killing monstrosity. It must be a new one."

You pushed yourself off the rock, feeling your regeneration grow tired after endlessly mending broken bones and open wounds. You glared at the creature, wiping away the blood that ran from your mouth. With frustration, you clench your jaw as you glared at the mindless brute. A sudden idea hit you, an addition to your plan to knock it over.

Knowing it wasn't a very intelligent creature it would be possible to confuse it. Maybe if you ran around it in circles it would dizzy itself, giving you a golden opportunity to attack it.

With your only hope being your plan you stuck to it. You dashed back into the Nomu's plain sight and began to circle it at an incredible speed. Just as you predicted the Nomu began to spin itself in a whirl, trying to keep up with you. After a minute of dizzying and exhausting the Nomu, you ran right at its feet, using your claws to slash its achilles tendon. It let out a high-pitched roar before toppling over, leaving the earth rumble underneath it.

"Aha," You huffed.

You ran at it once again, finally having an advance strike it with a fatal blow. The Nomu was surprisingly one step ahead and successfully swooped you up with its giant hand, holding you in a death grip. You coughed out in pain, its grip leaving you little room to breathe. You frantically scratched at its hands but didn't seem to faze the beast. Your lungs burnt as they were limited on air; your struggling seemed to burn you out even more.

Before you felt your vision begin to fade, a red cloud of smoke hit the Nomu. Making it loosen its grip while it swiped around the cloud with its other hand.

"Down here, moron!" You quickly turned your attention to Yaoyorozu's voice. She stood half hunch over, you realized she threw her flare at the Nomu to distract it.

"Is she trying to get us both killed?!"

The Nomu's focus then landed on the girl. As if all its interest in killing you faded it dropped you to the ground. You hit the ground hard, yet again challenging your regeneration. You watched as it made a step towards Yaoyorozu. Your aching headache seemed to fade as you stood back up, yet again.

Using some of Yaoyorozu's knowledge you took your leftover flare and hurled it at the Nomu's face, exploding in a red haze. Its attention slipped back to you, it howled angrily, clearly very ticked off. With amazing speed it charged at you, leaving you no time to flee from its path. It winded its arm back and sent a pull-powered punch from above.

"No!" Yaoyorozu screamed, her voice breaking in horror.

But in the split of time, you were pushing against the Nomu fist, stopping the blow. Your heels dug deep into the dirt as you pushed up on its fist, and your whole body shook as you struggle to fight against its force. With a final and mighty push, you were able to make a large enough gap between its fist and the ground to swing around and climb onto its arm. Using your claws you dug them into its skin to climb your way up the Nomu, once you were close enough to give yourself an opening you drilled your claws through its chest one last time, but this time you made sure it was fatal.

The Nomu shrunk back to its original size as it tumbled to the ground in a lifeless heap. You jumped off it, Yaoyorozu watching in amazement and relief. She smiled at you, "You're alive.." She huffed before falling to the ground.

"Yaoyorozu!" You yelled as sprinted to the unconscious girl, not caring that your body was screaming at you to stop moving.

You knelt next to her limp body, dragging your hands along her face, moving her hair out of the way. "I'm sorry." Your voice broke.

You picked her up bridal style, her arms draped to the side as you lifted her dead weight. You watched as her chest lifted up and down rhythmically. "Let's get you somewhere safe."

You walked through the thick forest, your head felt as if it might explode, your body ached and stung everywhere and your eyes could barely open but you still carried the girl. You were covered in blood and dirt, your regeneration had exhausted itself, resulting in blood dripping from your mouth. You pushed and pushed until you saw lights of what looked to be police. You continued to the flashing lights until you reached an outing. Many pro heroes and other classmates stood together, some being looked at by paramedics, some talking with each other frantically and some just huddled together. Many noticed you right away and came running up to you. They look at the unconscious Yaoyorozu from your arms. "Keep her safe.." Is all you can huff.

Mr. Aizawa looked at you in disbelief. You looked at Yaoyorozu one last time with a weak smile and everything faded. The last thing you felt was the cold hard forest floor before falling unconscious.
