Quietly and quickly we made our way through the castle. Caspian lead us into his professors office only for him not to be there. He picks up his glasses before looking at us.
"I have to find him" he tells us
"You don't have time. You need to get the gate open" Peter tells him
"You wouldn't be here without him. And neither would I" he tells him
Peter looks at Susan and I both I speak up
"The three of us can deal with Miraz" I tell him
"And I can still get to the gate in time" Caspian nods
"Are you sure you don't need help?" I ask Caspian
"Not to worry, I can handle it" he smiles before turning away

Once we had finally walked up to Mirazs door we heard voices.
"I don't want to do this" I heard who I assume was Prunaprismia say
We open the door as I point my sword at them and Susan points her arrow.
"We don't want you to either" Susan says
I look to the right to see Caspian holding a sword to Mirazs throat.
"This used to be a private room" Miraz says
"No one really cares" I roll my eyes at him
"What are you doing? You're supposed to be in the gatehouse" Peter glares at Caspian
"No! Tonight for once, I want the truth. Did you kill my father?" Caspian asks
"Now we get to it" Miraz smirks
"You said your brother died in his sleep" his wife says
"That was more or less true" he answers
"Caspian this won't change anything" I tell him trying to get him to drop the sword
"We Telmarines would have nothing had we not taken it. Your father knew that as well as anyone" Miraz says
"How could you?" His wife asks him
"For the same reason you will pull that tigger. For our son!" He yells taking a step forward making the sword cut his neck some
"Stop!" His wife yells
"Stay right there!" I say raising my sword at her

"You need to make a choice. Do you want our child to be king? Or do you want him to be like Caspian here?" Miraz asks
"Fatherless!" He yells
"No!" His wife tells shooting the arrow hitting Caspian in the arm and at the same time Mirazs rushes out of the room.
I run over to Caspian helping him up
"Are you okay?" I ask him and he gives me a quick nod
Then Peter takes off running
"Peter!" Susan yells
"Our troops are just outside! Come on!" Peter yells back

We followed Peter outside who ran up to the gate trying to turn the wheel.
"Peter! It's too late! We barely have enough time to call it off!" Susan yells
"No I can still do this! Help me!" He yells as his efforts to turn it wasn't working
I groan as we all run over to help him
"Exactly who are you doing this for Peter?" I yell but he doesn't answer

We get the gate half way open as our army ducks under running inside.
"For Narnia!" They all yell charging at the Telmarines
And the fight began once more.

I started to fight each soldier that came by me. Once I take down another one I look up to see 6 men surrounding me.
"Alright, let's go boys" I smirk before they all charge at me
It came naturally once more, just like Oreius has taught me. And in almost an instant all 6 guards were on the floor.

I catch my breath before quickly turning around heating someone come behind me. I didn't have enough time to react and they knock my sword out of my hand. But before they could swing again I twist his arm taking his sword and taking him to the ground right after.
I look up to see my sword just behind Caspian who was fighting a guard.
I look slightly to my right seeing a guard running at him, and he didn't notice.

"Caspian!" I yell before reaching out my hand
He takes down the guard in front of him then turns to look at me still not seeing the soldier
"Éla!" I yell and my sword comes flying at me
Thankfully I timed it just right and my sword hit the soldier. Caspian stares wide eye before picking up my sword and running over to me
"You're welcome" I smirk as he hands me my sword
"I don't think words describe how thankful I am" he laughs
"Yes well find the words later, fight now" I smile before turning away to join the fight again.

I look at the fate to see two soldiers cut the rope and the gate starts to fall. One of our Minotaur holds the gate up as I turn to Peter. He stares in shock at the fight, I didn't want to take it over. Aslan said Peter had something to learn in time. But for right now, it wasn't the right time.
"Fall back!" I yell as loud as I could

"Go get out of here! Back to the gate go!" I yell ast everyone running towards the gate myself
Everyone started to run out of the gate as I made sure Susan, Edmund, Peter and Caspian all made it themselves. I grab onto one of the horse as I duck under the gate just before it falls.
"Cora! The bridge!" I hear Reepicheep yell

I take one last look at all the warriors that were stuck inside the gate, and I regretted not calling it off sooner.
"Leave us! Go! In the name of Aslan!" I hear the remaining warriors inside yell
"I'm sorry" I mumble before turning away, jumping over the bridge which was lifting up
