WINNIE'S POV

The meeting with Sterling turned out better than expected, Enzo agreed to invest in their new project. They had a really good idea and plans.

I should be meeting up with Nathan today for my check up but I'm moving it to tomorrow which is Saturday, i don't work on Saturday so i think tomorrow is better.

"Let's go for lunch" I looked up from where i was sitting on my chair, to see Enzo getting his phone and keys.

"Umm....you should go ahead" i pulled my eyes back to the papers on my table.

"Why are you still working it's break period"

I didn't say anything, i pretended not to hear what he said. I heard his footsteps coming close to me but i didn't look up. The paper i was looking at was taken away from me. Enzo closed all the files on my table.

"Lets go get lunch, Si?"

"I'm going with the guys"

He kept quiet for few seconds i thought he was gonna leave.

"Did i do something?"

"What?"

"Why have you been avoiding me?"

"I'm not avoiding you Enzo"

𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘦. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮.

"Then tell me what is going on so i can fix it" i didn't reply him.

He came over to my chair and knelt on one knee, he took my hands in his, staring deep into my eyes.

"I'm sorry baby, whatever it is i did please forgive me" i felt myself tearing up but i didn't let the tears out.

"Please don't cry baby, I'm so sorry" he said frantically.

"Please forgive me Amore mio"

"You didn't do anything, don't apologize to me. I just have to clear my mind on somethings that's all" i shook my head, he nodded i knew he wasn't buying that but he didn't say anything else.

"Go have lunch, i will join you next time. The guys are already complaining about how i don't remember them anymore" i chuckled.

"Okay, have fun and take care"

He was about to kiss my lips but i turned my cheek to him. Kissed my cheek then froze, he stared at me for sometime before he stood up and left the office.

I was in the cafe with Dante, Belle and Lu having lunch.

"So Mr possessive finally let you have lunch with us?" Belle said and they all laughed together.

I just rolled my eyes at them.

"So how have you and Maria been?" Lu asked Dante.

"Who is Maria?" I asked nobody in particular.

"You see? If you haven't been MIA during lunch you would've known that Dante got a girl knocked up" Lu replied me

"What? Are you foreal?" I was shocked

"Si" Dante nodded

"I never knew you had a girlfriend" i told him.

"No she isn't my girlfriend, just a one night stand but she isn't bad. And i wanna be in my child's life and also want to be there for Maria through this"

"Aww" the girls and i said in unison, then we giggled

"I'm proud of you Dante, you will make a good father" i hugged him.

"So belle how is it going with your new man" Lu wiggled her brows smirking.

"Good. We are good, he is really caring"

"That's lovely" I smiled.

"And you Mrs Salvador?"

𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘐'𝘮 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘯𝘻𝘰.

"What the hell Belle? Don't call me that" i blushed. They all giggled like little girls.

"How are things going with you?" Dante asked me

"Good?"

"You sound unsure, the other day i saw you pulling you hand away when Mr Salvador was holding it" Belle scowl.

"Did he do something to you?" Lu looked like she was gonna murder someone

"Do you want me to have a talk with him?" Dante had concern showing all over his face.

"Guys slow down, Enzo didn't do anything. I have just had a lot going through my mind and i think it's affecting our relationship"

"Do you wanna share with us?" Dante asked

"What if all this is a mistake? What if i get hurt in the end? I'm scared"

"Oh darling" Belle hugged me.

"Do you see Mr Salvador as someone that plays women?" Lu asked

"No"

"I don't either, i have seen the way he looks at you. You try hard to hide your feelings for him in public but he doesn't even try. This man stares at you during meeting and holds your hand, like it's nobody's business" Dante said

"Mr Salvador loves you, don't throw away your happiness because of your fears"

"I think i should talk to him about this"

"Exactly, you should" they all nodded.

"I'm so lucky to have you all, you're the only family i have in the country"

"You can always count on us"

"Thank you"

After lunch we headed back to tge office. Opening the door to Enzo's office i had familiar voices

"Win!!!!" I left little arms wrap around my legs.

"Hey little man" i lifted him up and kissed him all over his face. He giggled loudly.

"Stwoop" he giggle.

"I missed you" he said

"I missed you too little man"

"Hi Winnie" i looked up and saw.....Cosimo or was it Cassio? They're so identical i can't tell which is who.

I looked at Enzo and he got the message clearly.

"Tesoro that's Cosimo"

"Oh I'm sorry guess you met my twin which got you confused" I nodded and offered him a small smile.

"Win i got you something" Luca ran to couch and brought a paper bag out from his backpack. He handed me the bag.

I opened the bag to find two broken cup cakes inside.

"You bought me cupcakes?" I grinned

"Daddy paid but i bought it" he blushed

"Thanks little man" i hugged him.

"I'm sorry the cake must have been batted by now, he insisted on carrying it in his back pack" Cosimo said nervously.

"Its fine thank you" i smiled at him.

I went to my chair with Luca holding on to my finger, i sat him on my table, then i sat on the chair. We ate the cupcake while he told me about his school and everything he could possibly remember.

He invited me for his sport day, i promised to be there after i got Cosimo's approval.

Cosimo left with Luca 40 mins later, after promising both Luca and i that he will make enough time for us to spend together.

After work Enzo saw me off to the parking lot .

"Call me when you get home, si?" I nodded

"Drive safe Enzo" i was about to enter my car when i remembered the conversation i heard with the guys during lunch. I turned back to him and hugged him.

"I love you Enzo"

"I love you too, more than life itself" he kissed my forehead.

I entered my car and drove off. I don't know where this thing with Enzo is heading but i know deep down that it feels right. I just can't let him go.
