It’s been three months after my graduation. I went on vacation with mom for three weeks, we travelled around the world and now I wanna resume work. For the past few months I have been making researches on potential companies which I would apply for.

I sent out some applications now am waiting for a response from any of them. One of these companies is actually my favorite, it’s one of the best out there but there are two obstacles.

FIRST being that getting a job at V.S Corp is close to impossible. The requirement and standard set is too high but I applied hoping for the best.

SECOND being that the location is Italy. Are you thinking same as i am? yeah right. I don’t think the squad will let me go live alone in Italy, but like I said I’m still hoping for the best.

‘’Win!!! get down dinner is ready’’ I heard Stephen shout

I entered the dinning to find mom pulling on Stephen’s ear while scolding and lecturing him for screaming inside the house. We all sat down to eat while Marta the mansion chef served the food. Marta has been working in the mansion since I could remember. She is like a grandma and we all love her.

‘’Princess did you get a response from any of those companies you applied for?” Dad asked me

I drank some water then replied ‘’Not yet dad am still waiting’’

‘’well don’t lose hope or feel bad about that, you are very smart with good records you would be an asset to any cooperation’’ he said

‘’yes dad is right, you would make a good employee’’ Vis said with a smile

‘’but I still don’t understand why you want to work in another company talk more of working for someone while you are literally a boss’’ France said

Stephen nodded and said ‘Yeah I don’t fancy that idea’’.

Can these two just shut up and stop giving dad ideas. I feel like smacking them on the right now.

"I understand you trying to get the experience of the people that will work for you, but why can't you do it in any of our companies? Why do you have to go to a different company to work for a stranger". Kenny said with a confused look.

I went silent for a while before replying "people in our company will never treat me like an employee, they all know who i am and you all will always be there to make me feel like a boss." I said looking at them

"I really wish you all understand and respect my wish" saying this i stood up then head to my room but not before saying goodnight.

I was feeling real bad right now they don't seem to understand me. I know they are trying to protect me but i can't live in their shadow and protection forever.
Getting rejection emails from companies is also not helping, am honestly feeling like a failure, i don't even know how to tell them a company rejected my application.

"Win can i come in?" Kenny's voice brought me out of my thoughts, then i noticed i had tears on my face so i wiped it quickly.

"Princess please let me in" i heard him say again.

"Come in Kenny" i said in a quiet tone

" Hey" he said

"Hey" i replied

" Are you crying princess?  Oh shit am so sorry about what happened i didn't mean to make you sad" he said frantically sitting beside me on the bed.

"I'm fine thanks" i offered a small smile. "I'm not really sad about that"

"Then why are you sad? What made you cry? I hope it's not a person because they are dead" he said with a serious look.

"No Ken it isn't anybody's fault"

"Then tell me what happened" he insisted but i kept quiet playing with my finger. Kenny held my hands to stop me from playing with my fingers, which made me look up at him.

"Tell me what's got you so sad"

"I.....umm...some company rejected my application" i said with my head down.

"Oh"

"Yeah" i mumbled

"That shouldn't get to you Princess, they probably don't have a vacancy" he said which made me nod.

" Or they are just dumb" he said with a scowl which made me giggle.

"Don't worry you will get a accepted in a good company, yeah?"

"Yeah" i smiled

" Now time for the princess to get her beauty sleep, so you don't look like the Wicked witch of East tomorrow morning " he laughed.

"Yeah yeah whatever"

I climbed on the bed and he came closer to cover me with my blanket. Kenny placed a kiss on my head and said "Goodnight baby sis"

"Goodnight big bro" i said qawning and sleepy.
