WINNIE'S POV

It seems like today will turn out good. I woke up from the right side of the bed. Hahaha. I was in the office doing some paper works with Enzo, i was standing beside him as he was sitting in his chair. He looks hot with his glasses on.

I got startled when the door opened all of a sudden, nobody comes into Enzo's office without knocking not even Emilio being the closest person to him in this company.

I looked up to see a really attractive guy but he is not as attractive as Enzo. He was coming close to us. Enzo stood up when he saw him and pulled him into a hug. 𝘖𝘬𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘮 𝘪 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨? This is the first time seeing Enzo displaying such emotion towards anybody else. 𝘞𝘰𝘸. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘶𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵.

"What's up man?" The man smiled letting go of him.

"I'm good, you're looking fine"

"Vince you won't die if you ask how am doing" the man laughed.

"I knew you're fine, after knowing where you spent the night"

"What can i say, i have to catch some fun. All work and no pussy makes Lazio a dull guy" he laughed. Okay i don't think i wanna listen to anyone's sex escapade.

He finally noticed they were not the only ones in the office.

"And who might this beautiful Lady be?" He asked to no one in particular.

"Winnie Martins En.....um Mr Salvador's Assistant" i held out my hand to him.

"Oh the famous enchantress, i am Lazio, grumpy's bestfriend" he smirked then brought his lips to my hand.

"Togli quelle cazzo di mani di dosso da lei" Enzo was staring at him like he want to murder him.

"Yeah" Enzo replied him sitting down on his chair.

"It was nice meeting you cognata"

"Nice meeting you Lazio" i smiled at him.

I left them and went to my conner of the office to finish up with my work. While they both conversed and laughed. I am seeing another side of Enzo. This is nice. I checked the time and it was time for lunch, I'm will be joining Dante and the girls for lunch today. I cleared my desk and turned off my computer.

"I'm going out for lunch do you need anything?" I asked Enzo

"Just coffee please" Lazio looked at him shocked.

"Okay" while going out i heard Lazio whispering.

"Since when did you start saying please to people Vin.....?" I shut the door.

"So what have you been up to" Dante said while all his attention was on the food he was eating.

"Yeah you barely have time for me anymore" Luna whined and hugged me tight. I laughed

"I'm sorry Lu" i smiled at her.

"Mr Salvador has been keeping you all to himself i see" Isabelle wiggled her eyebrows.

"No belle, i have just been a little busy"

"Busy going out for lunch with Mr Stone cold?" Luna said and Dante chuckled.

"Don't call him that" i rolled my eyes

"He is a very nice man"

"Okay ok but do tell us when the wedding bell is about to ring" Dante laughed

"Ugh y'all making me lose my appetite" i mumbled

"But on a serious note Winnie, you're the only one he is polite to."

"You're the only employee he cares for"

"Not to forget he is less aggressive when you're around" Dante stated. I frowned

"Honestly i believe he has feelings for you" Belle said, Lu and Dante nodded in support of what she said.

"Nah nah i don't think so, why would he look at me? I don't think I'm his type. By the way he is way older than i am" i sipped my milkshake.

"Oh stop that have you seen you? You're so hot, i would fuck you if i was into women" Lu winked at me.

"Who thinks about age in this century, you will look good together" Dante told me.

"Hmm" i went back to eating the food.

We headed back to the office after lunch. I got Enzo coffee and some donut i knew he love.

He was alone when i went in, i think Lazio left already. He was so lost in his work that he didn't notice my presence.

"Coffee delivery for Mr Salvador" i smiled. Dropping the coffee and donuts in front of him on the table.

"Thank you Angel" he grinned widely, i blushed.

"I got you your favourite donut too"

"Thank you il mio Tesoro" he pulled me between his legs as he was sitting then hugged me.

"You're welcome" i returned his hug then he started eating and i went to lockers to arrange some documents. Enzo trust me enough to give me the past word to it.

"I will be having a meeting tomorrow"

"Oh i didn't know about that, there's no meeting in your schedule tomorrow" i was confused.

"Yeah i got the call when you were out, it's not a big deal just few people"

"Okay do you need anything or is there anything i should know about this? So i can prepare for the meeting"

"No need for that you don't need to be there, i will go alone"

"You sure?"

"Si Tesoro"

"Okay" i said.

As usual Enzo escorted me to the parking lot and opened the door for me. He always does that.

"Are you sure you don't want me to give you lift home?"

"No Enzo, i will be fine. You should get home and rest you need it" i smiled looking up at him, he is already staring at me, looking deep into my eyes.

I don't know how it happened or who moved closer but i know our lips was about to meet when a car alarm went off in the parking lot.

I moved back immediately, 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵? 𝘞𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘮𝘦? 𝘞𝘢𝘴 𝘪 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘮? 𝘖𝘩 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵. 𝘎𝘦𝘵 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘱 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘴.

"I...umm....we....i should get going" i entered the car.

"Okay" he said still looking into my eyes. I know my face looks as red as a tomato now.

"Goodnight Enzo"

"Goodnight Amore mio". I nodded

I drove off, i looked at my side mirror to see him standing there watching me putting more distance between us. 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘪 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨?

I slept that night thinking about our almost kiss, along side the conversion i had with my friends.

Getting to work the next day it was like nothing happened last night, he was acting normal so i went with the flow. I don't want things to get awkward between us.

It's time for Enzo's meeting, i took his lap top to the conference room while coming out i saw him standing in front of his office with a man but they're not the one that had my attention, it was the little boy trying to scream down the whole building. He was standing beside the young man and Enzo was kneeling before him.

I went closer to them and tapped Enzo on his shoulder.

"Is he okay"

"Just throwing a fit and he wouldn't listen to anybody"

"Can i?" I asked gesturing towards the toddler. He nodded and got off the floor. I took his position kneeling in front of the kid.

"Hey there" he kept crying but finally looked up.

"I'm Winnie, what's wrong can you tell me why you're crying?" He kept crying. I pulled him into my arms thankfully he didn't pull away instead he hid his face in my neck and wrapped his tiny arms around me"

"Papa" he sniffed pointing behind him to......Enzo?
