Hendery moved his horse to the left "ha try to beat me now"

"Okayy I'll try" Chenle moved his queen and took Hendery's king

"WHAT!" Hendery said while he shot out of his seat

"Hehehe, would u like to play again your highness?" Chenle said innocently

"Yeah, I'm not going to lose!"

"Hehe well get your money ready because u already owe me $50 dollars"

"U guys could play later, Hendery has a meeting to go to and Chenle..... We don't gamble in the palace" Mia said to the both of them

"Fine Sis...... we'll do it outside next time 😁" he smiled and hopped away

"What have u been teaching that kid, he beats me in very game we play"

"I don't know, he's just smart"

"Yeah I guess- Ya! are u saying I'm not smart!!"

"Come on and get ready, you'll be late" she said and was about to walk away when Hendery stopped her

"Wait" he said and block her from walking "Am...... Let's.... Go somewhere together"

Chenle had been staying with them for almost 2 weeks and a half, and ever since that day Mia and Hendery became closer. They basically with each other 24/7, yeah she's his personal servant but even when she has nothing to do she always end up talking with Hendery or just keeping him company

They're close friends but Hendery wanted to change that and he promised himself he'll confess to her today

"Where do u want to go?" Mia asked

"Am...... It'll be a surprise so after my meeting we'll leave"

They were already on their way to the secret location

Hendery will be taking Mia in a secret place in the Commoner's land. The Noble's land is so crowded and filled with rude and obnoxious people but the Commoner's land are filled with small villages that are surrounded with trees and Flowers, a perfect place to confess to her

The horse carriage stopped and Mia was so confused

"Is this were we suppose to be or... The horses got tired and stopped"

"Hahaha, yeah this is it" Hendery answered back and came out of the carriage. Mia followed him and saw him taking out a picnic basket

"Ohh we're having a picnic"

"Yeah, follow me"

Hendery and Mia walked together until they saw this beautiful sight Hendery set up

"Wow, this is amazing"

They both sat down and Hendery took out normal picnic food.....🤷

They both ate and talked about each other but Mia want to ask something

"Am... Hendery, people are saying that Xiaojun isn't taking over the throne because he's to scared but it got me thinking, if Xiaojun is older why isn't he becoming the king?"

"He said he wasn't interested in being the king"

"but don't u think that's kinda weird?"

"Yeah I found that weird to but father kept yelling at me if I bring it up"

"Oh ok" Mia was still interested in knowing the truth but if the king don't want to talk about it then she's try to find a way

They were there since morning and it's almost 1 so Hendery think it's time to ask her

"I need to tell you something" Hendery was shaking "breathe in.... breathe out"

That was unexpected, Mia was silent for a bit, she didn't know how she felt, I mean Hendery is a really great person but she don't know if she's likes him too

"Am..... I don't know if that's how I feel about u"

*Sigh* "can u at least think about it"

"Yeah sure"

Not too long after they left because they ran out of food and it got kinda awkward

When they reach at the palace they both said goodbye and left to their rooms

Mia was walking, her mind couldn't concentrate on anything right now, until she hit something

She was about to fall when Xiaojun grab her hand and wrap his other around her waist

"Hey u ok?" He said

"Am... yeah.... Thanks" she said and stand up

"Are u sure you're ok? U look lost"

"Yeah I'm fine it's just..."

"Go on..."

"Hm..... What to do if someone tells u they like u but u don't know if u like them?"

That got Xiaojun thinking too. Did Hendery confess to her? Or someone else?

"We both like u a lot but we didn't know how to tell u. It took us a while to understand our feelings for u so we won't rush u to give us an answer. Take some time to think about it" before Xiaojun left he kiss her on her forehead and said goodbye

Mia quickly went into her room and let her body drop on the bed
