"Mommyyy! My back hurts!" A little child with bushy forest green hair and a sprinkling of freckles wailed.

His mother worriedly rushed over to her child and lifted his shirt to see why he was in pain "stay still ok Izuku honey" she reassured, rubbing ointment on where some reddening had occurred.

The child squirmed in pain as the soft skin ripped apart revealing two tiny blood covered wings. His mother gasped in surprise "Izuku, you've got your quirk!" She exclaimed, happy tears pricking her eyes as she picked up her child to comfort him.

His tiny wings twitched a little as she gently slipped over the boy's shirt and began to drive him to the quirk doctor.

By the time mother and son arrived, the little boy had fallen asleep due to exhaustion. "Inko Midoryia?" The receptionist called out, ushering the slumbering toddler and excited lady to the allocated room.

She was greeted with a rather short stacked man with circular glasses. He wore a white lab coat and had an extravagant looking moustache "hello Mrs Midoryia, after some testing I have confirmed your son's quirk"

Inko smiled proudly and looked down on the child's peaceful figure "please go on" she urged, looking forward to telling him all about it.

She was happy for him because he'd wanted to be a hero for his whole life, and this was the start.

"As you can see it is a mutation type with some other abilities to accompany this..." he trailed off, tapping his clip board while humming "he shares DNA with that of a humming bird, giving him some properties of that species"

"His wings will be able to fly at incredible speeds, almost unseeable to the human eye. This also gives him heightened senses and retractable claws on his hands and feet"

Inko smiled happily at the information "that sounds great! We'll name the quirk hummingbird" she informed, picking up her child and bowing to the doctor.

"Kacchan, kacchan! Look I've got my quirk, we can be heroes together!" A little winged boy beamed, showing off his beautiful pair of shimmering green wings.

His explosive friend turned to him, gently stroking along the delicate feathered wings "woahh deku! Their so cool"

His shiny feathers bristled at the sensation and he flapped them a little to show off "can you fly?" The blonde asked, stepping away from his friend.

The greenete smiled and flapped his wings fast enough that they looked like a blur of light, lifting him off the floor around half a meter until he gently lowered himself to the floor.

"Cool isn't it?!" He exclaimed proudly, folding his wings comfortably behind him.

"Heck yeah! That's awesome!" The blonde grinned, tiny explosions emoting from his hands from being too excited.

"Oh! And look at this!" The greenete gasped, remembering his other ability. He rose his hand and suddenly sharp claws sprouted from his finger nails.

The blonde jumped back in surprise "we're gunna be great heroes deku" he reassured, pulling his friend into a intimate hug.

"Let's work together ok Kacchan?" Izuku whispered to the explosive boy as they sat through Present Mics explanation.

"Of course deku" Katsuki whispered back, placing his hand atop his friends. Izuku's wings twitched a little but he soon settled down, focusing on the information.

"EXCUSE ME, EXCUSE ME!" A male with blue hair yelled, gaining the attention of Present Mic "yes?" He asked a little annoyed.

"On the sheet it says there are 4 robots! You only explained three, if this is a mistake it would tarnish UA's reputation!" He scolded, chopping his hand in a robotic motion.

"Get a load of this freak" Katsuki scoffed, nudging Izuku's arm "kacchan you shouldn't say that!" Izuku scolded, glaring at his friend.

"As for you!" The blue haired teen turned to where the two friends were sitting and pointed directly at Izuku "it is highly disrespectful to talk, not to mention distracting others!"

Izuku was frozen on the spot. Suddenly being called out like that certainly messed with his nerves a little.
Katsuki noticed Izuku getting a little stressed and was now angry.

He stood up, glaring daggers at the annoying male "shut the hell up four eyes, if you would just have waited then you could see Present Mic was about to get onto the next robot. Maybe someone should help you get that stick out you're ass" he hissed, sitting down once again.

"Ahem yes well thank you for that... like I was saying"

"READY.... GOOOO" the pro yelled through a mega phone, not like he really needed it though.

Instantly the first people to zoom out were Katsuki and Izuku. The blonde used his explosions to fly past everyone while Izuku was hardly visible due to his immense speed and how fast his wings were moving.

The greenete used his claws to destroy robots left and right as the blonde simply blew them up.

"Wow they look promising" Nerumi pointed out, staring at the duo in action. She had caught a singular glance of Izuku just as he slowed down.

"I only see one" Aizawa groaned, not yet noticing Izuku. "Look closely" Nerumi urged, staring at the blur of green light that was zooming in between robots.

"Ahhh yes, that's Izuku Midoryia" Nezu concluded, rubbing his paws together excitedly "looks like their working together" cementos hummed, his eyes fixated on the power duo.

"More problem children..." Aizawa deadpanned, sinking further into his sleeping bag.

Izuku and Katsuki stood on either side of each other, smiling competitively as the crowd cheered on whomever they expected to win.

This final match would decide who was the winner. Many were rooting for izuku; however, Katsuki had less supporters due to his explosive nature.

"READY... FIGHT!" Nerumi yelled, slamming her whip on the floor and stepping out of bounds.

Izuku grinned and waited for Katsuki to charge at him first, whilst he fluffed up his wings ready for flight. As expected, the blonde came charging at Izuku with his explosions and attempted to kick his leg.

However, he kicked a completely empty space causing him to lose his footing a little. Izuku literally just vanished.

He was hovering above Katsuki with his claws out, grinning as the blonde hurriedly searched for him. His wings moved so fact he looked like he was just floating.

"COME ON DEKU!" Katsuki shouted enraged, sending explosions all around the ring. In a swift motion the greenete went into a nose dive and outstretched his claws to make scratches in his shoulders.

The blonde hissed in pain as Izuku carried on littering him in thousands of lightening fast attacks all in once.

He rose his arms in order to protect himself from his claws but it was useless since he couldn't even get a glimpse of Izuku.

Deciding he had played with Katsuki enough he prepared the final blow. Charging up one for all in his fist he punched the blonde in the stomach so hard it send him hurdling out of bounds.

"IZUKU MIDORYIA IS THE WINNER!" Nerumi announced, erupting the entire crowd into happy cheers.

A certain winged pro watched the whole thing on the top of UA's roof. He smiled at how adorable yet badass Izuku could be, not to mention he had a similar quirk to him.

Hawks vowed he would make Izuku his.
