Beomgyu woke up the next morning, happier than ever. In less than two weeks, he'd finally meet the love of his life in person. He was also, very VERY nervous. What if she treated him differently, knowing who he was? And if the agency found out, well, he'd be in a very bad position.
He turned to his phone, squinting his eyes at the bright light spewing out of it. Beomgyu had a few messages, but two specifically he was curious about. He clicked the one from Adele first.
Beomgyu's heart beat faster when he opened it. It was a bit different: instead of less clothes there were more, but that didn't mean it didn't have the same effect on him.
Adele was wearing a pair of jeans and a cropped white T-shirt, and, upon further inspection, he realized it was the outfit they had picked for the concert. Except for the fact that she had the thin straps of her underwear pulled high on her waist, above the waistband of her jeans.
Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun: he couldn't help but imagine waking up to her like that. Adele had told him she slept with her hair up loosely like that.
Beomgyu was really excited to see her in person, because he had multiple photos in his camera roll to send her. Most of them were what would be considered 'boyfriend photos,' and it wouldn't make sense to send them to her with his face blurred out.
The second message was from Adele's friend, Amber.
'I totally didn't make an inappropriate joke about you to Adele-' she had said. Beomgyu was confused.
'What'd you say?'
'I'll send it to you.'
She took a while to respond after that, and Beomgyu waited, impatiently tapping his leg and messing with his hair.
Finally, she replied.
Amber sent multiple screenshots of her and Adele's conversation, and as Beomgyu read through, he smiled to himself. It was cute.
He texted Adele. 'Aw, was my baby flustered while I was gone~?'
He hoped the tone he wanted was coming through.
Adele sent a wide-eyes blushing emoji back. 'You can't send messages like that to me, Gyu. I have a fragile heart, I just might die T-T'
Beomgyu smirked slightly to himself before replying. 'Oh, well, I guess I'll have to be more secretive about texting you during work. Wouldn't want to miss a lovely opportunity to make you blush~'
She called him.
Beomgyu was surprised, but pleased nonetheless, and accepted.
"Yes?" He jokingly asked.
Adele laughed. "Gyu." Her voice was shaking. "I don't think I'm okay."
His body tensed in concern. He hoped nothing had happened. "Why? What's wrong?"
"I feel like I'm going to explode, my face is hotter than it's supposed to be, and I feel this fluttery feeling in my stomach, and there's this tingly feeling all over my skin."
As Beomgyu listened to her, he relaxed, the worried look on his face turning into a smile. "If I was with you, I'd press my cold fingers against your skin," he said in a teasing voice.
A choked sob came from the other end. "You're just making it worse," she whispered.
Beomgyu laughed. "I love you so much."
There was a bit of silence, and he began to wonder if he had done something wrong. "You there?" He asked.
The response was slightly muffled, as if she had her hand over her mouth as she spoke. "Yeah, yeah. Just malfunctioning a bit." She giggled nervously. "I love you too. Very, very much. Impossibly much. I just wish you could be here with me..." Adele trailed off.
"Two weeks," he assured. "Two weeks, I promise."
"It'll feel like no time at all."
