"Hello?" She asked, waiting for him to answer.
"Wow princess, your voice is pretty gorgeous. I can't believe I've waited this long to hear it," Gyu replied.
At the sound of his voice, Adele closed her eyes. He sounded familiar, like someone she knew, but she couldn't place it and let it be.
"Thank you," she whispered.
He laughed on the other end. Oh my god, his laugh. "Of course! Sorry if I'm making you a bit nervous, people say I have a big personality."
It was Adele's turn to laugh. "Oh, really?" She joked. "I couldn't tell."
She could almost hear his smile. "I know, right? I have no idea why they said that." He was silent for a moment. "Sorry, love, for going quiet on you, I was just taking a moment to process the fact that the voice I'm hearing right now belongs to the girl who's been sending me revealing photos of herself."
Adele blushed slightly. "You've been doing the same!" She paused. "Gyu, when do I get to see what you look like?"
He was quiet for another second. "Well, I'm sure you've heard that TXT is on tour, right?"
Adele nodded before remembering he couldn't see her. "Yes, of course."
"Well, I was thinking, since they're playing Atlanta, which is relatively close to you, I could maybe get you a ticket and you can go, I'm busy that day, but I'll fly in afterwards and we could hang out, and talk? Maybe more, if you'd like..."
Here he trailed off, and Adele blushed a little.
"I would like that, a whole lot. But you don't need to pay for the tickets, they're so expensive!" She protested.
"It's okay. Consider it a gift," Gyu replied.
Adele smiled at that. "Okay then, handsome. What's the date of the concert? I want to save it to my calendar."
He told her, and she typed it in. Two weeks from then, and it was the last date of the tour. Adele was sure it'd be a great concert, full of emotion, and was already figuring out what to wear.
She went over her options on the phone with Gyu, sending him photos as she went. They decided on a simple pair of dark jeans and a white shirt, figuring it'd go with any accessories. Adele placed it on her dresser, falling back on her bed with a sigh.
"I am very, very excited," she admitted, blankets squeezed tight in her fist. "How often do I get to see TXT?!"
Gyu laughed. "I'm glad you're excited, love. It'll be here before you know it, and then we'll spend the next day together." There was an almost wistful edge to his voice, and Adele smiled.
"Sounds like a plan." She checked the time. "Now, you should sleep! Should I send another photo for when you wake up?"
Gyu laughed again. "Yes please!"
Adele laughed as well. "Okay then. Now, good night Gyu." She loved how his name sounded coming out of her mouth.
"Goodnight Adele."
She hung up, laying on her back, arms folded behind her head and lips pulled in a small smile. Gyu truly was the best thing to happen to her.
Amber messaged her. 'So, what'd you and pretty boy talk about?'
Adele smiled. 'Oh, nothing really. Plans to meet up, stuff like that. Also, what about me?!'
'I can't exactly call you gorgeous now that you're taken, now can I?'
'I mean, you can. I think I'd like when Gyu gets jealous.'
A few moments later, she replied. 'Jealous se- T-T I'M SORRY THAT'S JUST WHAT I THOUGHT-'
Adele was confused. She had no idea what Amber meant. 'What? Finish the sentence, I don't know what you mean.'
'Jealous sex...'
Adele's eyes widened, but she still didn't get it, 'okay, but what does that have to do with anything?'
'Well, you said you'd like when he got jealous, so I said jealous sex.'
Adele finally understood. 'Oh. OH. OOOOHHHH.' Her face was flaming as she tried not to think anything.
She had to admit, she'd had those thoughts about him, but she didn't even know what his face looked like.
'Yuppp...' Amber sent.
Adele sighed, shutting her phone off. She could only hope Gyu never found out.
