Naruto P.O.V

"What?" I asked, shifting from side to side as fear overcame my whole body.

"I didn't stutter Naruto." He gritted his teeth.

I didn't even have to see his teeth to see he was absolutely pissed off at the moment. The constant flexing of his jaw made that very clear to me.

"Um I-" I tried.

"Shut the door and have a seat, Naruto." Kiba ordered. The fact that he hasn't called me Kit since I arrived made me feel like I was being charged with the wickedest of crimes and his scolding was the punishment, which in that case I would've been better of going to jail.

Nonetheless I obeyed what he said and walked up to the door. However, just for a split second I hesitated and thought that maybe if I ran then I'd be able to get him to cool off before having this discussion with him.

I should've known better though. As if he had sensed my hesitation he approached behind me and slammed the door shut himself. The loud bang was probably loud enough to wake everyone in the building, if they weren't already used to the noises that came from this room.

"Sit.down.Naruto." He whispered angrily against my ear.

Stalling him wasn't going to work. It was clear that he wasn't going to let go of this easily and tolerate my usual antics to matters like this. Running away from my problem always seemed to be the way that I dealt with things in our relationship, but he was always willing to talk about it.

That always reminds me he's three years older than me. Dealing with situations as maturely as he can, maybe for once I can try that too.

I took a deep breath and walked over to the couch and sat down. Kiba stood in front of the TV and paced back and forth while biting his bottom lip. I felt like I was about to be interrogated by my parents.

After what seemed like fifteen minutes he took a deep breath and squatted in front of me.

"I want you to tell me everything that you know, and if it doesn't match up with what Hinata told me. You better start running and hope to Kaguya, that I don't catch you."

"Are you threatening me?" I sassed.

"For assaulting my friend? Yes." He stated.

That just reminded me. What if I tell him everything and he leaves me again? Normally I wouldn't care if he left, but we've grown so close to one another, I actually feel something towards him now, but will that even matter after I confess to him what I've done.

"I'm listening Naruto..." He patiently waited, squinting his eyes at me with a suspicious face.

"No..." I mumbled.

"What?"

"I said no!" I stood up swiftly. "I'm not explaining anything to anyone. If Hinata told you anything why don't you just go with what she said and leave it at that!?"

"Because I want your side of the story, Naruto. Stop being so complicated and just answer it."

"I don't want to answer it! Me answering it doesn't change anything as I'm sure Hinata told you the entire truth! Why don't you just do what you want with that."

"Naruto-"

"We're not even friends since you're so comfortable with threatening me. So do your worse and get it over with."

"You're beginning to sound like a brat."

"Not everyone can be mature like you. I actually had a family that raised me well." I spat, and covered my mouth, but it was too late. I already said what I wasn't supposed to say.

Kiba stared at me with a blank expression and just stood up and began making his way to the door. I had ultimately screwed up, because of anger I just used his own personal life as a means to hurt him. All he ever did was try his best to help me, and this is how I repay him.

"Kiba?" I panicked, but he didn't acknowledge me.

"Kiba wait! We can talk this out. I can call Neji and he'll help us sort this whole thing out." I scrambled for my phone, calling Neji's number but only hearing it ring once and go to what I assume is another voicemail.

"Kiba please!"

"SHUT UP NARUTO!" He yelled, startling me and causing me to drop my phone.

"I just wanted to say I'm sor-"

"You're always sorry for something! You keep doing and saying things that you don't understand the consequences too! Yet you never shut the fuck up and think for a second!"

"I'm here minding my own business, enjoying the little time we've been spending together and all of a sudden one of my closest friends come to me and tell me that YOU have been one fucked up individual, and I didn't want to believe her, but the bruise shows!"

"I didn't know she was bru-"

"Shut up and listen!" He fumed, walking quickly up to me with balled fist, but stopping himself midway.

"I'm trying my best here not to hurt you. Please don't make it hard for me."

"You claimed I hurt you once before and you've seen me hurt before. I don't want either of those to happen again because I know it'll hurt you. I don't want to hurt you, Naruto."

"I just want to go and blow off steam. When I get back I want you to just talk to me, alright!"

"Where will you go?" I asked, finding it hard to speak, but not wanting to separate from him. The fact he has to apologize when I'm the one that obviously hurt him made me feel horrible. All he wanted was to sort things out with me and his friends, but I talked myself into hurting him.

I just want to listen to him now.

"Are you going to the place you always when you return with those bruises?"

"Yes." He stated. "But I'm not coming back with bruises, I promise you that."

"Then can I come!" I pleaded.

"I'd rather not take you-"

"Please? I'm really sorry about what I said and I just want to be with you. I want to listen and talk to you about this and about us. You might not think of us as friends, but Kiba I think of you as something!" I confessed without much thought, I was just ranting my mouth off but I meant everything I said.

"I want to understand you the way you understand me. I don't want to fight with you anymore, Kiba! So please just take me wherever you're going." I finished, almost out of breath.

Kiba, just started at me blankly, he looked so vulnerable at this time. Like he was conflicted on what to do. As he started into my eyes I found myself unable to look away from him, I wanted him to see that I was just as vulnerable here and willing to be there for him just as much as he has been for me.

"Put my jacket and helmet on and meet me at the front gate." He mumbled before walking outside the room.

I figured he need at least a moment alone but was willing to have me tag along. The more I interacted with this 'bad boy' was the more I realized a lot about each of us.

Just because you're seemingly good, like me, doesn't mean you're a saint, and just because you're seemingly bad and rebellious, like Kiba, doesn't make you a bad guy.

We both represented an image in society of what good and bad are seen as, but in reality we were both Frauds to those judgements.

I gathered the items Kiba told me to take, I also grabbed my camera. It wasn't necessary, but I wanted to remember this moment. A moment that I'm hoping will change the way Kiba and I relate to each other. It felt like it was a long shot, but I had faith.

As I was about to close the door I could've sworn I hear a low voice calling my name frantically, but I figured it was just my mind echoing Kiba's voice calling me earlier.

So I left and walked down to the campus to meet with Kiba.

•••

Once I got down there Kiba leaned against his bike with his arms crossed. He had his attention directed to the school and quite frankly I was a bit jealous that I wasn't the center of his attention right now.

I know expecting that from a friend was a bit weird, but I couldn't help it.

"I'm here." I announced.

He didn't even react to me now being present. I couldn't blame him though for not paying attention to me, considering what I said earlier.

"Get on." He sighed, while sitting on his bike and waiting for me to join him. However, once I got on and placed my hands on his waist, he shocked me.

"Keep your hands on the bike." He continued, removing my hands from his body. I was taken back by a long mile, but I figured I deserved it.

I've accused him of being some convicted just by his image, but his personality was far from it. He was considerate, loyal to his peers, motivating, independent, loving towards animals, mature and so real.

The qualities of a true man. Not some boy who pretended to be someone he wasn't.

"I'm moving." He announced, speeding off the campus and down the road. Oddly enough he didn't go through the front gate like I assumed, but rather through the back gate that was less secured, which made sense as it was really late.

The ride was quiet and awkward for me. He didn't speak to me or even check to see if I was fine from how fast he was going, but I guess he was in his own head at the time.

I wanted to lean forward and find a way to apologize to him through body language. Maybe pressing me body against his back, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I was hesitant with everything that came to him because he was so unpredictable.

What if he got even more upset with me for not keeping my hands on the bike like he said, but what if he liked it?

I was conflicted and frustrated. I wanted to help him feel better. We were going to the place he ventures too when he's hurt after all.

I wanted to be the person he has when he's hurt. It was least I could do for him always somehow being there for me. Even after I had chased my best friend away, Kiba still stayed with me.

"Kib-" I tried, but he came to an abrupt halt near the back of what I assumed was a market place.

"You stay here. I'll be back." He ordered.

"Wait! Kiba?" I called, but he ignored me. "Fang! Please wai-"

"I said don't call me that." He finally replied, if it wasn't for his tone I would've been happy, but hearing him made my heart clench.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

"What is that you want?" He asked, leaning against the tree with back towards me.

"Where are you going?"

"To get some things."

"I want to come with you."

"Naruto, this doesn't concern you. You're just here to tag along, right? Besides you'll only jump to assumptions again."

"Why would I jump to assumptions? What was Kiba planning to do here?" I thought, already jumping to assumptions.

"See what I mean." Kiba continued in a tone of disappointment. "Just stay here and I'll be back."

I watched him walk away and disappear into the bushes, I thought that was a bit strange as the back exit of the market was in sight.

So why would he need to go through the bushes?

I had the idea to follow him, but decided against it. I'm already on the chalk line with him and I didn't want to get him upset or hurt again, but my curiosity was very much peaked.

Kiba walked around the edge of the market keeping himself hidden within the bushes. He scooped the area in search of two things and once he located them he figured out his plan immediately.

He entered the market through the side with his hands in his pocket. Walking casually among the shoppers and vendors he get his presence very discretely.

He walked over to the other side of the market while glancing at the securities located at the entrance and exit, ensuring they were always in his radar.

"Wolf meat! Come and get your freshly killed wolf's meat right here!" The vendor advertised.

Kiba gritted his teeth in despise feeling absolute hatred towards the man who sold these regularly despite them only going to waste because nobody wanted them. Yet, it never demotivated the man from hunting the animal.

"How much for your chicken?" Kiba asked, walking up to the vendor and posing like happy customer.

"A cheap price, but I have something even cheaper." The man cooed.

"Really now?" Kiba smirked.

"Yes young man. If you take a look over here you'll see the abundance of my accomplishments."

"Accomplishments?"

"Yes, I don't mean to brag, but I'm a wolf hunter and these right here, are my catches."

"You don't say. That's a lot of kills."

"Impressive, eh?"

"Hm, if you say so."

"Haha I like you my guy. Tell you what, buy one of my wolf meat and I'll give you three whole chickens for free."

"Hm, you know these animals aren't livestock. They actually had a life, with a family that feels for the loss of their pack member."

"That sounds familiar."

"You have no idea." Kiba smirked, pulling out his pocket knife and raising his head for the man to see his face. "Gimme the chicken or these wolves won't be the only meat in a bag."

•••

A gust of  wind blew outside as Naruto stayed quietly on the bike. He felt like it had been hours and he couldn't even check his phone to confirm it because he left it back at campus.

Luckily Kiba had given him his jacket, but he was taking forever and the blonde was beginning to grow tired of waiting, he didn't know what he was up to and how long it would take him to come back so he decided to just take a little peak inside the market.

However, as soon as he stepped off the bike a piece of paper blew against his leg. He bent down and caught it and opened it and what he saw made his eyes light up in shock. It was a paper for persons banned from the market and that person was, Kiba.

Naruto tossed the paper aside and ran to the exit of the market. The guard was asleep and he quietly walked passed him. He walked around frantically in the market in search of his friend, but he couldn't find him.

So Naruto stood on top of a stool and looked around the crowd, finding him at the stall. He got off the stool and ran over to his location, stopping breathlessly next to him as the vendor was packing a bag with cold chicken.

"Kiba!"

"Naruto!" Kiba spat. "I told you to stay on the- Ah!"

"Thief!" The vendor yelled after hitting Kiba in the face with four pounds of chicken.

The other customers halted and began to scatter while the vendor attracted the security guards attention to where the thief was. Kiba stumbled on the ground and held his now bruised lip while Naruto tried to assist him.

However, before he could even reach Kiba, the vendor grabbed him by his arm and yanked him upwards, accusing the blonde of being his partner. He tried to escape but the crazy man had a a grip of steel on his arm.

The security guards pushed passed the panicking crowd and came closer and closer to the trio. Naruto's heart was racing quickly at how everything was escalating so fast. He knew that if they got caught then it would be bad for both reputations.

Luckily, Kiba hooped to his feet, stabbed the vendor in his other hand which made him release Naruto then he grabbed the bag of chicken and Naruto, before sprinting away from the scene. He dashed through the crowd from one security and didn't notice the other one, which caught him and tackled him to the ground.

Kiba was out of energy to fight him back to the best of his ability and the other security was coming in hot.

Naruto panicked as the security had Kiba pinned down and had to think of something quick. He saw the struggle in Kiba's face, the frustration in his eyes and the blood escaping from his lip. He stood up and without hesitation he grabbed the bag of chicken and swung it across the security guards head, instantly stunning him. Then he helped Kiba up and ran with him and the chicken.

He didn't know why he was holding the chicken, but he kept it anyway.

Once they were outside, they ran to the bike and Kiba hooped on and turned the key.

"Hold on to me!" He ordered, and without hesitation he speed off at full speed with Naruto burying his head in his back while the bag of chicken sat between them. Kiba sped through the forest, dodging the trees just barely and swerving onto the main road, almost colliding into a incoming vehicle.

"Fuck off!" He yelled when the driver honked at him and speed up the road, zigzagging through the cars to cut off the possibility of them being followed and turning into the familiar dirt path and bringing the bike to a final halt.

Naruto recognized it to be the dirt path that Kiba's father took his life. It made his heart clench thinking this was the place he always to clear his head, but what happened next scared him even more.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND!?" Kiba yelled, pushing himself of the bike and breathing heavily. "I specifically told you to stay on the damn bike and you run in there and cause fucking chaos!"

"Kiba I-"

"No! No I, Naruto! I told you to stay put and you went against it and almost got the both of us arrested. I should've known you would've pulled a stunt like that and even right now you're probably thinking of me as some kind of fucking thief."

"No! I don't! I learned my lesson about judging someone by their appearance Kiba! You taught me that and even if what you did looked the way it did, I'm not thinking of you as a thief." Naruto defended with teary eyes.

He was having another inner conflict with himself. His mind kept trying to convince him that Kiba had stolen from that man, but his heart never gave up on defending him. This caused a problem and made Naruto feel confused, but he was still willing to trust in Kiba and hoped he had a reasoning behind it.

Kiba stared into his eyes as the moonlight sparkles in his favorite oceanic eyes. It made him sad to see them teary and regret yelling at him, but he was so upset with everything at the moment that he couldn't even think straight.

"Naruto..." He sighed, pulling at his hair in frustration. "Look, I'll just go and-"

Kiba couldn't finish his sentence as low muffled cries echoed in the forest. Naruto used the sleeve of Kiba's jacket to wipe away the overwhelming emotions that bottled up inside him while trying his best to remain strong in front of him.

It was the first Kiba had seen him like this and it was a sight that broke him. He never wanted to see the blonde shed another tear, much less force them back in his presence. He was absolutely speechless, between the wind and the sobbing, Kiba could've sworn he heart his own heart breaking.

Without even thinking he began taking steps towards the blonde. He didn't want to see him like this and have him feel like he had to be strong in front of him.

Kiba wanted Naruto to be himself in his presence.

He opened his arms and wrapped them around Naruto. He held him firmly, but as gently as he could while planting his face in the crook of the blonde's neck.

"Kiba, stop it. I'm fine." Naruto tried.

"Don't lie to me, Naruto. I'm sorry for being so rough with you earlier, but I was just scared at the thought of what would've happened to you if we had gotten caught." Kiba whispered in his ear. "I never want you to think that I don't care about you. Right now, you're the only person I care about."

"Seeing you cry is never a good experience for me. I want to see you happy and being happily yourself."

"Please don't be afraid to cry in front of me, Kit. It pains me to watch, but I'm here for you."

Hearing those words broke down the defense the the hug had already weakened. Never in his life has anyone expressed this type of behavior towards him and the fact that it was coming from a friend like Kiba made it all the more touching for Naruto.

He huffed and groaned trying to fight back the tears, but Kiba never released him, not even hesitating the slightest bit. Eventually groans turn into sobbing and trembling and that turned into full blown crying.

Naruto practically screamed while clutching onto the brunette's shirt, taking in every comfort that the latter was passing on to him. Kiba listened to him cry and allowed him to let it all out.

He was beginning to realize exactly what was happening even if the blonde didn't, and he felt the same. He's been feeling the same for quite sometime now, even during their fights.

Naruto meant a lot to Kiba and no matter how much he pretended, he knew that he meant a lot to the blonde. Though he'd never take advantage of it unless the blonde gave him the permission. So he positioned them on the bike and leaned against tree while Naruto kept crying for the next half an hour.

•••

"Naruto..." Sasuke appeared.

"Sasuke?" Naruto blinked in confusion.

"Why'd you do it Naruto?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I thought you loved me!"

"I do love you!"

"Is that how you really feel?" Sasuke leaned into the shadow. However, his voice was different and when he's face came back into the light, it wasn't him.

"Kiba?"

"I thought we were friends, Kit."

"We are but-"

"Do you just wanna be friends?"

"Yes! I mean, no, I mean, I'm not sure." Naruto hesitated.

"Kiba just wants to be friends, Naruto. Don't be so silly." Sasuke appeared from behind him, licking his outer earlobe.

Naruto shivered and turned around, he was shocked at what he was looking at, dark purple skies opening from above revealing Kankuro laughing and controlling Sasuke and familiar looking figure with his strings.

The figure had its hands wrapped around Sasuke's waist, kissing him consistently on his cheek. He couldn't make out who it was, only glimpse their dark pupils.

The light of a shiny object caught his attention. Sasuke had a knife, he was leaning closer to Naruto, but Naruto couldn't move, he couldn't react, only leaning forward. The blade pressed against his chest, right over his heart.

He thought this was the end, but the pressure in his chest left and he regained control. Looking down he saw the blade to the knife was held by someone else and that person had their body pressed against his back.

"We're more than friends, Naruto." Kiba whispered into his ear.

-End of dream-

"Hm!" Naruto flinched, waking up still engulfed in Kiba's arms. He was confused as to what was happening and why he had a dream like that, but looking up and witnessing brown eyes staring softly at him, made everything leave his mind.

"You're awake." Kiba smiled. "You fell asleep after a while."

"Oh! I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize, it's fine. I didn't mind one bit."

"We were supposed to be talking, not watching me sleep."

"We can always do that another time."

"But your friends..."

"It doesn't matter. I'm trying to focus on us right now, I'll think about them another time."

"Kiba, it wouldn't be fair to them for you to do that. I should've told you before any of it happened. You're always so mature about everything and willing to talk, I'm not. I'm not trying to be like you, but I want to take us seriously now." Naruto opposed, separating from Kiba and looking at him with a seriously concerned face.

"..."

"I'm sorry if I said that too aggressively."

"I expected nothing less from you actually, but I'm listening, fox breath."

"Haha stop! I just woke up don't make fun of me you fucker."

"Haha I'm sorry then."

"Haha, alright so I guess I should start..."

Naruto began to explain the whole situation for Kiba, in depth. From things that came to his mind to things that he was actually lost enough to do. Listening to himself speak all his actions out loud made him realize just how fucked up he sounded.

He was more surprised by it than Kiba was, physically speaking.

However, Naruto allowed Kiba to hear the personal thoughts that the blonde shared with him. He was starting to see how all these lead up to having something to do with him. Naruto's behavior was the only way he felt that he could get to Kiba, and it worked, but it cost him more than the blonde should've given up for him.

It wasn't like he could truly bring himself to leave the blonde, not that he'd say that to him.

"And I guess that's why we ended up here." Naruto sighed, coming to the end of his explanation. "Again, I acted without thinking about the consequences and it once again got you hurt."

"Mhaha.." Kiba chuckled.

"Are you laughing at me?" Naruto looked at him in confusion.

"Yeah, that was pretty funny." Kiba leaned back, staring at Naruto in amusement.

"Huh? What part of that was funny? Didn't you hear what I said to you?"

"I did, and first thing tomorrow morning you're apologizing to Hinata for bitch slapping her."

"Wha- I didn't bitch slap her! I wouldn't have hit her, she looked very fragile."

"She didn't break while slapping you or yanking your fat ass out the room, did she?"

"..."

"My friends aren't pussy, Naruto." He smirked.

"No shit! Her boyfriend sounded like he was going to skin me alive."

"Shino? Nah, he wouldn't kill a fly. Beating you up would be a different case though." He smirked.

"Am I a joke to you?" Naruto asked, tilting his head in confusion.

"Sometimes."

"Kiba!" Naruto yelled, shoving the brunette's shoulder. "I'm serious!"

"So am I! I already said you're apologizing to her and that's it."

"But what about the other stuff?"

"What other stuff? We already know something isn't right with you upstairs. So I can't really punish you for that, especially with how bad you have it. Besides, you were honest with me to tell me the whole truth and I'm happy about that."

"Not just that! What about the thing at the marketplace? You know, me almost getting us both thrown in jail."

"Oh yeah. I should be upset with you about it, but I'm guessing you've already been through enough. It doesn't matter anymore cause you're okay. However, I am sorry for yelling at you earlier, I was just scared that something might've happened to you under my care."

"Pfft, you make it sound like I'm your child." Naruto joked.

"Nah," Kiba chuckled. "It'd be a sin to think of you as my child."

Naruto's laughter died down once Kiba replied. He didn't know why that sentence touched something inside him, bring him back to that heavy feeling in his chest.

The moment he locked eyes with Kiba, it intensified.

He could hear his own heart practically calling out to his desires. It was no longer a mystery as to why he was feeling this way towards Kiba. It had nothing to do with friends, but he knew that they weren't together.

Yet, he made his mind and body react in ways that Naruto couldn't even begin to explain.

"I'm crushing on Kiba." He thought, staring blankly at the grinning man before him. Analyzing his muscles that he's seen more times than he can count, but he didn't want to just see it anymore.

"You good Kit?" Kiba asked, noticing the blonde's mind drifting off, only assuming it could be what he thought it was.

"Huh?" Naruto shook his head. "Yeah. Why do you ask?"

"You seem lost in thought. There wouldn't be anything on your mind that's bothering, would there?"

"Absolutely not haha. It's as light as a feather-"

"And stiff as a board?" Kiba teased.

"You really are a fuck boy." Naruto spat, hiding his flustered cheeks from the brunette.

"Wow, just when I thought we were getting along."

"We were, but you had to fuck it up."

"I fuck things, what can I say?" He shrugged sarcastically. "Well, not everything..."

Kiba began walking over to the blonde slowly, while swaying side to side. Naruto held his stance and folded his arms in anticipation of could happen, and he was right.

Kiba, pressed his body against the Naruto's, but only slightly as the blonde's arms kept him from getting any closer.

"Do you want to see what I do with the meat?"

"Huh?!" Naruto panicked, drawing back swiftly.

"The meat, Naruto. Haha the raw chicken."

"Oh...OH! Okay yeah, I definitely heard you I just thought you meant some other..."

"Other?" Kiba smirked.

"Nothing, just some little thing, but yeah I'd like to see what you do," He pursed his lips, unable to keep a straight face. "with the meat..."

"Haha alright, follow me then." Kiba lead the way. "Oh! And by the way. I think we bought know there's nothing little about that other meat."

"..." Naruto froze, biting his inner cheek as Kiba winked at him and walked away.

"Fucking tease." Naruto rolled his eyes playfully while feeling almost excited by Kiba's statement.

"Kit!"

"I'm coming, Dog Breath!"

•••

The pair walked through the path and back to the cliff Kiba showed Naruto the other night. He stood and scanned the area with great concentration.

"You're not going to release the dead chickens into the wild, are you?" Naruto asked, standing a few feet behind him.

"Haha that one actually got me!" Kiba bursted into a fit of laughter. "I'm sorry if I gave you the impression I was insane, but no, that's not me intention haha."

"Great! Cause I was just about to take off."

"Oh, so you'd leave me at the edge of a cliff, thinking I was crazy?"

"Haha no! Not when you put it like that."

"Then what would you do?"

"I'd stay here I guess."

"Good, that's the Naruto I love."

"Did he just say love?" Naruto thought.

He couldn't believe what he just heard. He didn't know whether the brunette meant it the way he thought or he was just blowing things out of proportion again. Either way, it made his heart flutter and breathing heavy.

Kiba didn't even turn around to give the blonde the tiniest hint of what he meant by that, and he didn't want too. He wanted to be a mystery for the younger man.

"You know Naruto, I'm really impressed by how you haven't accused me of stealing yet." Kiba changed the topic.

"I trust you, don't I?"

"Does that mean I don't have to explain my actions?"

"Hell no! I still need to know why we almost got arrested for raw chicken."

"Haha come over here then and let me show you."

"I'm not really a fan of cliffs, Kiba." Naruto declined.

"You came here last time."

"Yeah cause you were there and-"

"I'm still here." Kiba reached out to him. "I won't let you fall, at least not alone."

"Is that supposed to be comforting?" Naruto chuckled.

"Haha come on Kit. Don't leave a guy empty handed now."

"Ugh! Fine..." Naruto gave up.

He cautiously walked up to Kiba and reached out for his arm while looking at the edge of the cliff. However, he glimpsed the bottom and attempted to take a step back, but before he could move away, Kiba reached for his waist and pulled him next to him.

"Kiba!" He panicked, latching onto the brunette.

"Haha it's okay! I'm not gonna let go of you remember."

"It doesn't matter it's too high up! I can't with up here right now." He buried his face in the crook of the Kiba's neck, his heartbeat beating rapidly against him as he tried to calm his nerves.

This made Kiba realize that the other night the blonde only came this close was because he wanted to comfort him. Otherwise, Naruto wouldn't have even attempted to take a meter near the ledge.

His care for the older man pushed his fears aside just so he could be there for him.

"I have a better idea." Kiba let go of Naruto and sat at edge of the cliff with his legs dangling. Then he turned around, looking at Naruto and gesturing for him to sit behind him.

"You can lean against me for support, you don't even have to put your legs off the cliff." He offered.

"What are you, an adrenaline junky?" Naruto chuckled.

"Haha you don't have too if you don't want too. I'm just trying to make you comfortable, Kit."

Naruto smiled at the kind gesture and honestly couldn't bring himself to turn it down. His mind was freaking out the closer he got to the cliff and stooped behind Kiba, racing at the thought of falling over him or even the both of them being tossed over.

However, as he made contact with Kiba's back, he felt at peace. Like he was where he was supposed to be, like his safe place, his home.

"Feel better?" Kiba whispered softly.

"Mhm." Naruto blushed.

"Alright, now follow my finger." Kiba instructed, pointing to the trees across the stream of water.

Kiba pointed towards the dark area with little moonlight. Naruto tried to keep up and see what he was showing him, he leaned forward and unconsciously placed his head on Kiba's shoulder, his cheek rubbing against the brunette's.

"What am I looking at?"

"Keep focusing! You'll see them."

Naruto squinted his eyes and leaned further into Kiba, which the brunette was loving. He was ready to give up, but that's when he saw something running on the other side.

"Are those..."

"A wolf pack." Kiba replied. "They're a pack of up to twelve members."

"It doesn't seem like twelve. The rest must be hidden."

"Why? Wouldn't it be better to attack all at once?"

"Normally that would be the case, but the fact that I have these in my hands make that strategy a risky one." Kiba bellowed.

"What do you mean?"

"That man who I stole these from, he's a wolf hunter." He revealed. "He'd normally target this specific pack and kill their members.

"No way, how long has he been doing that?"

"Three years."

"That means..."

"Yeah, I've been robbing him the first day I saw him kill one of them." Kiba explained. "It's not enough to replace the bond they've lost with their members, but it's a start."

Kiba tore the bag of chicken and disposed of the meat below them. They rolled and hit the ground with a loud thud, signaling the wolves that it was that time again. Naruto watched as the pack ran to the stream of water and swam vigorously through it.

"Isn't that water deep?!"

"It's fine. Wolves are great swimmers, and they love water."

"I thought you were more of a dog person."

"Of course you'd think that foxy, but as long as you're a canine with fangs, you're apart of my family."

"You must really respect them then haha."

"Yeah, they actually tried to help my father when he died."

"What?!"

"Yeah." Kiba smiled, staring at the wolf as it looked up at him from the far distance. "When he jumped and landed in the water, they found him on a rock next to the stream with bite marks in his shirt and a lone wolf nearby."

"It was too late for him, but they still tried to rescue him."

"Kiba..."

"It's fine, Kit. It's something I want to remember, it's a part of my past and what makes me who I am today."

"That's why I even got this tattoo. I wanna remember everything that means something to me."

"Oh..." Naruto replied, feeling absolutely lost for words when it came to the topic of Kiba's father.

"Hm, sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable with this Kit."

"No it's fine. It's just you're so well balanced that it amazes me sometimes."

"Well balanced?"

"Yeah, like you're so mature that even things that are absolutely irresponsible, you make it good. There's always a deeper meaning behind everything you say or do and it's just perfect."

"Haha let me tell you something, Kit. There isn't anybody in this world that perfect, everyone makes mistakes. Even Kaguya herself." Kiba turned his head, glancing into Naruto's beautiful eye.

They blonde was so captivated by him that he didn't even see the their closeness was far to close for someone who was in a relationship. He didn't even remember he was in a relationship, and you couldn't blame him.

"Did I tell you that this was where I found Akamaru?"

"What!?" Naruto panicked.

"Haha why you acting like that?"

"Cause this place you keep coming to is very festive. How many things have you experienced here?"

"Haha quit overreacting."

"How did you find him here anyway?"

"He was being chased by the wolves during one of that guy's huntings. He used him as bait."

"That guy really is fucked up."

"I'm glad you see it that way. Cause if I hadn't stepped in and distracted those wolves, Akamaru wouldn't be at the campus right now."

"You gave him home and chance at experiencing life haha." Naruto chuckled sweetly.

"Couldn't have done it without you."

"Don't even start with that. You're the hero here and that's for sure."

"How about I share that victory with you?"

"Haha I'd like that." Naruto replied, hugging the brunette's neck with a second thought.

They stayed like that for a moment, watching the wolves carry the raw meat back over to the stream and wrestling with each other to see who'd take it back to the rest of the pack. They chuckled at the animals rumbling with each other, it reminded them of themselves.

"Kiba, where does this stream lead?" Naruto practically cooed into Kiba's ear.

Kiba was surprised by how seductive it almost sound, it sent a tingle down to his core and made him feel really enticed.

"Uh, it leads to just some lake that I used to swim at."

"I-"

"Yes another thing I've experienced here haha." Kiba joked.

"I wasn't going to say that."

"Sure, then what we're you going to say?"

"Can we go down to the lake?"

"Right now?"

"Yeah, bad idea?"

"Not if you like swimming in the dark." Kiba smirked.

"Is it a deal then?"

"You sure you don't wanna go home, Kit?"

"Nah, I haven't gone swimming in quite sometime and I feel like we should definitely do it tonight."

"Alright, if you really want too. Then I'll take you where you wanna go."

"Cool."

"Haha yeah."

They moved from the cliff and back to Kiba's bike, but they took another turn that was like a sloop as they were walking down. Naruto stuck to Kiba like a magnet while listening to the water nearby, getting excited at the opportunity to swim after months of not being able to do so.

"Watch your step. There's a lot of rocks down this path and you can slip and fall if you're not careful." Kiba advised him, taking hold of the blonde's hand.

Naruto could feel his body heating up again from his touch and it didn't help that he was still wearing his leather jacket. He just suddenly felt like he wanted to be near him and everything he did made him feel special, like he mattered to him, and Naruto knew he truly did matter to him.

"Did I ever tell you that you're a good friend, Kiba?" Naruto said out of nowhere, smiling to himself as he looked down at the ground.

"Friend, eh? I'm not sure, you've called me a lot of things, but friend never really slipped your lips."

"I don't think it's ever slipped yours either."

"I call you by your name or that cute nickname I gave you. What else could you possibly want haha." Kiba turned around facing the blonde with little space between them.

"I can't think of anything." Naruto barely managed to say before his heart began melting from the heat of Kiba's body radiating to his. Even locking eyes with him was making his mouth dry and his body fidgety, thoughts flooding his mind about their previous romantic encounters that he had the strong urge to ignite once more.

"Tell me when you get an idea." Kiba winked, pulling him further down the path.

Naruto P.O.V

We finally made to the bottom of the path and I was met with most breathtaking view I've ever seen. The stillness of the water terrified me, but the way the moon illuminated the area and danced calmly on the water had to be the second most thing I've down here and here I was with the first.

His hand still holding mine as I clenched on to the pockets of his jacket. I felt something square in the pocket, but ignored it as I couldn't really focus on anything else.

"You like it?" Kiba smiled proudly.

"I love it." I admitted. "Is this really where you came to everyday."

"Yeah, you think I'd pass up the opportunity to miss this experience?"

"I doubt it."

"Glad you know. But enough of the chit chatting. Let's get to business." He clapped his hands together before removing his top.

"What are you doing?"

"I didn't bring a swimsuit, and neither did you. But you wanted to swim so we have to strip down cause I'm not going to get my bike wet." He smirked.

"Okay, no problem. Let's do it then!"

"Oh you sound confident."

"I am! I'm going to be swimming at night in a beautiful lake, with my beautiful friend."

"Beautiful friend?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Uh, yeah! You're handsome. What about it?" I tried playing it off.

"Haha nothing. I'm flattered, but let's hope you keep that energy in the water."

"Why wouldn't I?" I dared.

"Reasons you'll eventually find out."

Before I could even ask what he meant by that he removed his sweatpants and I was just immediately met with a swinging dick. I had gotten so used to Kiba, but I never remembered that he doesn't wear underwear very often. Which means this whole time we we're hanging out.

He was straight up going commando.

"Problem?" He asked as I was visibly stunned.

"Huh? What? No! Of course not."

"Okay, cause you shouldn't be as were both guys, right? Also you've seen him like a million times already, right?" He winked before folding his arms over his chest.

"Yeah..."

"Haha you know if you're uncomfortable I can always stand here and you can just go ahead and swim. I'll just keep watch."

"Hell no! We're gonna go together and I'm not uncomfortable, it's just I haven't seen you like that in a while."

"Haha I could say the same. I've been jacking off to the last time I saw you naked for so long that it's all I have left."

"You do that!?"

"Don't act like you don't either."

"I haven't."

"Liar!"

"I'm not lying."

"Whatever haha so I guess you'll be swimming and I'll be skinny dipping then, Kit." He chuckled before running off into the lake with a loud splash.

I got a glimpse of his bare butt and it was pleasantly cute which I'm sure he'd be proud to hear. But thinking about him touching himself while thinking of me awakened something in me. I suddenly felt mischievous and even more excited at the thought of getting in the lake with him, but I wasn't satisfied with just swimming around him while he was the only one naked.

So I didn't allow him to be.

"Naruto you getting in?" Kiba yelled while floating on his back. "Or can you not swim?"

"Actually, I can swim just fine and I just remembered that I wouldn't wanna get your bike wet either."

"What does that mean?"

"Take a look at the shore, on that tree branch." I teased while swimming away from him.

"Is that your underwear?!" He yelled

"Didn't want to get mud on my ass." I shrugged playfully before diving down the water and making sure my ass was visible to him for just a split second.

When I came back up on his other side he was looking at me with the biggest and goofiest grin I've ever seen from him.

"What?" I chuckled.

"Who are you right now?" He asked with visible excitement.

"I'm... Naruto Uzumaki." I said proudly, actually feeling as though that was who I truly was. "Who are you?"

"Kiba Inuzuka, the guy who you're giving a hard on."

"Guess you have a some more images of me to jerk off too." I winked before splashing him with water and diving under the surface.

"Yo!" He yelled before diving after me.

It was dark, but thanks to the moon I was still able to see him just a bit under the water. He swam towards me, but I dodged him and swam over to the other side of the lake. Then he did it again, but missed.

Then again, and again, and again. I was having so much fun at this point, coming up for air ever so often before diving back down to continue our game of tag, but he can't catch me. However, when I went back under and looked for him, I didn't see him.

I looked around above and under the surface but there was no sign of him. It was so still and quiet all of a sudden too. That's when I felt a disturbance in the water, but I didn't know where.

Shortly after, I felt it again, but this time it was near me, right under me to be exact. I didn't remember to ask Kiba if anything was in the water and I was beginning to get nervous. As if on cue, something came up legs and next thing I know I'm being lifted out of the water.

I locked my legs around the object and to my surprise it wasn't a monster about to devour. It was Kiba with his face casually resting against my stomach as he held me up on his shoulders.

"I got you didn't I?" He smirked.

"You sick fuck! Where did you go?"

"Isn't it obvious? I was right under you and I just swam up when I saw you from the bottom. That's when I strike."

"Your striking is to have your face all over my crotch?" I teased.

"I'd like to call it a trophy." He winked.

"I thought you were going to wait for me to give you consent before you did anything."

"I still am, but it doesn't mean I can't have your dick under my chin."

"I'm gonna piss on you."

"Who said I would mind you doing that?" He dared.

"You're unbelievable."

"Yup!" He smirked before kissing my navel and throwing my off his shoulders.

"Kiba!" I blushed.

"Tag, you're it!" He replied playfully before disappearing under the surface again as I chased after him this time.

•••

After what seemed like forever we finished playing around and just floated in the lake. Well, Kiba floated, I just used him to stay a float.

We're tired from swimming around and if it weren't for the water, we'd be sweaty. As I laid on his stomach I couldn't help but take a few peeks at his dick. I know I must look like a pervert, but there was just something about it that always caught my attention when it was out.

Much like it's owner.

I had access to what I could only describe as the most attractive guy I have ever known and I hesitated or rejected him at every moment. I'm actually impressed at how far I've come without giving into him, having sex to be specific. We've had our close moments when it almost happened, but never getting to that point.

Why was it like that though?

Oh yeah, because I had a boyfriend. The same boyfriend I haven't seen in months because he's so 'busy' with school. Yet still Neji saw him with 'me' the last time we spoke I've never really thought much about that, but it got me thinking.

"Did Neji ever tell Kiba about it?"

I doubt he'd ever bring up something like to me as it would stir an argument between us, but what would be his thoughts on that. How did he behave, did he feel jealous? Why would he be jealous?

We're friends after all, but he's touched himself to me before and I have too, even though it was just one time.

"Why are you so quiet?" He asked, snapping me from my thoughts as his hand laid on my back.

"Just thinking about some stuff.." I replied honestly.

"About what?" He asked with concern in his voice. "Did I tag you too hard?"

"Haha fuck off, it's nothing like that. I was just thinking about Sasuke."

"What about him?" Kiba asked. Oddly enough I could feel his body almost sinking, like he wasn't calm.

"Just something Neji told me before we stopped talking a while back. He said that he saw Neji with someone and thought it was me, and that he might be cheating on me."

"Oh yeah. He told me about that." He replied. "Why are you thinking about that stuff at a time like this?"

"Why do you sound like that?"

"Like what?"

"Like you're irritated."

"Maybe I am."

"But why?"

"Kit..." He groaned.

"Fang!?"

"I don't want to get involved with that, okay! It's not my place to know what's happening within your relationship. It should be between the people involved in the relationship, not with outsiders."

"You don't...you don't think he actually cheated. Do you?"

"It's not my place to say." He replied, his body sinking once more.

"But you want to say something!" I said, pushing him away from me." "Why don't you just say it?"

"Because my opinion doesn't matter! Whether I think he was cheating or not doesn't matter, Kit! What matters is your own own opinion and his. It's your relationship and you have all right to think and make your own opinion as you like!"

"But I wanna hear yours..." I begged.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. The only thing I can say is you're an amazing person who's absolutely beautiful when you can express who you truly are. You're worth every incredible thing in this world even when it can't even begin to match up with how outstanding you are, Naruto. Anybody who can't see that in you is a fool and doesn't deserve you."

"You're a good friend to have Kiba." I sighed, turning around to swim away.

Kiba's words touched my heart and made me feel like absolute shit while being on top of the world at the same time. Yet I'm here prying for my friend's opinion on my relationship while we're skinny dipping together at what I can assume is 1AM. Meanwhile my boyfriend is far away allegedly doing school work or sleeping to do more school work.

Life, truly is unfair sometimes.

I felt something grab my arm and with great strength I was pulled into Kiba's body with his arm around my waist. The look he gave me was a touch of anger and something else, affection.

"I saw you looking at my dick earlier, Naruto. No matter how many times you use the word." He drew me closer, our dicks actually touching this time.

"I'm not your friend."

"Kiba, we're touching." I looked away.

My body began to heat up again as our chests bummed into each other. I could feel him getting hard and I was too, his hand held me firmly on top of his thigh and rubbed soothing circles into my back and I was absolutely in love with all of it.

This was what I wanted now. I didn't want to keep playing this game of cat and mouse with Kiba anymore. His husky scent and stronghold did something to my inner core that craved to have him explore every inch of my body.

The places he's discovered and the ones he's yet to know about. I didn't care about anything right now as I looked at his soaked hair and lustful eyes threatening to say the very sentence that would ruin this moment.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't do anything until you give me-"

"I want it!" I spat.

"What?" He asked, looking at me in shock with a hint of excitement, his dick poking me even harder reinforced his excitement. While I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and legs around his waist, feeling the length against me for a second time.

"I'm giving you consent." I whispered against his lips before locking lips with him. His familiar taste felt so foreign to me, but it was just as enticing as memories of us started to flood my mind.

It didn't take long for Kiba to grind his grith into me, creating our friction in the calm waters and beginning the next chapter of me discovering myself and what I truly want.
