For the beginning of the party Ino and Sai kept me close to them. At first I didn't understand what the course of their plan was until I realized Sai was being really touchy and personal with me.

He'd sit so close to me that our shoulders touched, held my hand every chance he got, played in my hair, touch my face, touch my ass. I normally don't accept that kind of thing but before this all began Ino announced this was a 'do what you want" party and that there were essentially no rules.

She covered it by saying and I quote "to celebrate Kiba and Kankuro being homo, we're all gonna be homo tonight."

That and that her and Sai were having, a flirting contest to see who could flirt the best. Which didn't make any sense to me as we were all friends and most of them were dating each other so what was the goal of the flirting contest.

Then again, I was the only one they were gonna flirt with.

Either way, it seemed to be getting Kiba's attention a lot as he'd always be looking at me whenever I turned to look at him.

To make sure he was okay of course.

No other reason.

Still I don't know what Ino was trying to achieve as it didn't seem to be bothering Kiba in the slightest. Like yeah, he would look at me but then he'd just casually smile and continue his conversation with Hinata, Kankuro and Menma.

"Don't look too much or you'll make it obvious." Ino warned as she floated in the water on her back.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I glanced at Kiba once more as I heard TenTen and Sakura laughing in the distance while they tried to push each other off of Neji and Rock Lee's shoulder respectively.

"You keep looking at him." Sai pointed out with a smile. "You're making it obvious that he's on your mind."

"So what if he is?" I pouted.

"That sounds like a confession." Ino smirked as she looked up at me.

"I'm not confessing anything. What's with you two, you act so weird."

"Haha and you act like you don't know what you want." Sai replied.

Ino started to float upright before she swam closer to us and pulled herself up and sat next to me. She placed her hand on my shoulder and leaned in.

"Look, I'm not doing this to hurt anyones feelings just so we're clear, so if this is something that bothers you more than it is supposed to help you and Kiba realize something, then let me know." She whispered into my ear.

"Realize something..." I'm mumbled to myself.

While doing so I looked over at Kiba while he kept sipping his beer. I wondered if it was warm by how long he has been sipping on it, has to be. I felt a bit off seeing him over there with Kankuro but that surely didn't mean I liked him, I was just concerned about him but probably had just a bad feeling.

He'd smile at him when they looked at each other, Kankuro would brush his fingers through Kiba's new haircut ever so often, I bet it felt nice touching his big head as he allowed himself to just be touched by him drawing closer to him and yearning for more. It was like watching a dog and it's master bonding.

It made me think for a second that Kiba bottomed for him when they had sex last night. He must've made him feel good with the amount of experience he's had even though I didn't teach him much.

Ugh! What am I even thinking about right now!

"Hey, Naruto?" Sai called, nudging my shoulder and pulling me from my thoughts.

"Hm?"

"What do you think about him?" He asked.

"What?" I asked, being surprised by his question.

"About Kiba, what do you feel or think when you see him?" He clarified as they both leaned on either ends of my shoulder.

"Why does everyone keep asking me that? We're just friends I don't feel any differently about him like I would with you guys."

"That's what you say, but you haven't taken your eyes off him since you got here." Sai teased as he moved closer to my ear, earning a series of stares from Kiba.

"Seems to me like he can't stop doing the same."

"Alright, enough of that, did we come here to part or jump to conclusions?" I asked as I shrugged them off my shoulders making them both chuckle.

"Haha you're right, it's still early and honestly we don't have a lot of time so we should enjoy every minute of it." Ino announced.

"That's what I'm-" I tried but was interrupted as Sai got into the water and latched on to my thighs.

"Accompany me." He smiled while stroking my exposed skin.

I didn't dare look up as I knew Kiba would definitely be looking. My heart felt like it was about to burst through my chest, what would the others think if they say me doing this?

Would they think that I'm gay?

Well, they already know that, but Menma and Naruto don't. I can't do this, not right now.

I placed my hands over Sai's to throw them off, but Ino stopped me and gave me a reassuring look, I wasn't sure what it was for but then she leaned forward and hugged my head.

"Don't be afraid to be who you want to be. Also, remember this party is about doing whatever you want without being judged, your siblings won't know like the rest of us do."

"..."

"You're free to be you, Naruto."

I don't know what about it, but what Ino said did make me feel kind of light in a way. The idea of being accepted by so many people, ones that I didn't even know very well but yet they considered me a friend and supported what I thought and who I was, no matter what I did to find them out.

It wasn't the same satisfaction as confessing to my family, but it wasn't far off either.

I carefully got into the water with Sai while Ino followed behind me. She wrapped herself around my back with a light chuckled in my ear as Sai's hand gripped my waist and pulled us further into the cooling water.

It felt like I was in a calm space being touched by angels.

Sai took us to the center of the pool and turned around, indicating that I should get on his back, which I did while Ino was still on mine. I struggled for a bit until he went down a bit and grabbed my ass and pulled me onto his back. I let out a frightened laugh which made them both chuckle and in turn made me chuckled afterwards.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Definitely!" Ino smiled, holding onto me tighter.

"..." I remained silent, not knowing what would happen next.

"Naruto?" Sai asked.

"Hm?"

"You ready?"

I paused for a moment, my heart was racing at the amount of fear that circulated through me. Why was I so afraid to just do things?

Everything I did or wanted to do took me so long to do and get used to because I was always so concerned with what other people thought.

I looked up at the others as they smiled at us, Naruko even began recording, they all seemed so happy and entertained, but then there was Kiba who had this sad smile on his face.

Why would that be there?

Wasn't this what he wanted from me? For me to be happy and free?

I turned away from him and closed my eyes as I buried my face in the crook of Sai's neck. I shouldn't look at him, not while he looked at me like that.

"Do it, Sai." I replied and before I knew it, my head was under water.

Sai pulled us down and Ino pulled away as she began to swim gracefully under the water, her hair moved like the tail of a mermaid, with the lights above us it almost looked like she was the Little Mermaid herself, it was so beautiful to watch.

Sai stroked my leg as we floated their under the water watching her, he spun along with her movements, completely captivated by her. I could feel myself getting aroused by the situation, but I tried to fight it.

I closed my eyes as the sound of water and the echo of the music above was the only thing I could focus on, that is until memories of Kiba and I in his pool came rushing back to me.

The way we looked at each other, the way he touched me, the time we almost kissed. It felt like it was just yesterday, his smile was so bright and cute back then, but now it's so dull and for a reason I know of.

I didn't even realize I stopped breathing until we had came back up to the surface and the music sounded clear. I opened my eyes to see the other cheering and even jumping in the pool to do the same as we did.

Yet, Kiba only stood there next to Kankuro who was already being dragged into the pool with Hinata by Menma.

His smile seemed a lot brighter this time, although I was sure why. I had a guess that it must be that he remembered the exact same thing that was thinking about. He nodded at me before looking away as his smile grew brighter and he started chuckling to himself.

Hm, fucking tease.
