Later that night Kiba and I were ushered into my bedroom by my mother so that it would be more of a surprise once they were finished cooking. It would've been okay if it wasn't for the fact they dragged Naruko, Menma, Hinata and Gaara into this who were actually supposed to be on their dates.

I simply sat on my bed and just soaked in all the embarrassment while Kiba leaned against the door and continued laughing about the whole thing.

"It really isn't that bad, I'm actually flattered if I'm being honest."

"Sure..." I muffled as I buried my face into my mattress.

"I'm hoping they roll out the red carpet for me when they're finished." He joked.

"If you're lucky they might even put on formal attire." I replied sarcastically as I looked at him.

"Haha so is it always like this?" He asked as he walked closer to the bed.

"Pretty much, everything we do is a big deal to them and it needs to be celebrated."

"I actually think that's pretty cool. It shows just how much they love each of you."

"I guess you can say that, but it gets tiring sometimes."

"Well, I'd prefer that more than not getting showered with love at all." He replied as he looked down at his feet.

I figured he was talking about his relationship with his family and hinted that he isn't showered with as much love as my parents give to me and my siblings.

Was it still too early for me to pry, or do I just wait for him to be the one to talk about it?

"Hm, there's my jacket." He smiled walking over to my closet and picking up Sasuke's jacket.

"Hey! That's not yours, it's Sasuke's. Yours is over there." I warned him, rushing over there as the jacket wasn't clean yet and still had my now dried semen on the fabric.

"Ah no, that's Sasuke's." He corrected. "This one is mine, see? It has the lacrosse symbol."

My mind immediately froze, blacked out and rebooted all in one seating.

The memories of what I did with that jacket hit me like a truck and I remembered how dim the room was so I truly didn't see the symbols as they both looked the same, especially in that lack of lighting.

That means the scent that was so mesmerizing to me wasn't from Sasuke at all.

"Why does the back of it feel so rough-" He continued, but I snatched the clothing from his grasp, earning a confused stare from him.

"It's...not clean! Yeah definitely not clean! It still has coffee stains on it and...some lotion accidentally got on it! So it's really not clean so I should just keep it until it gets wash."

"Oh okay...but you can just give it to me now and I'll wash it."

"No! Uh, I really want to wash it. I'm a clean freak remember hahaha so I'll be more than happy to wash it!" I smiled nervously, hoping that he would buy into it.

"Fine, but don't hold onto it too long. I'll need it for when we go off to compete with other schools."

"No problem! You'll get it as soon as possible."

"Cool." He smiled before walking off, which is when I took the opportunity to toss the clothing right into the laundry bin not wanting to risk him getting any closer examinations of it. "So is there anything you want to advise me of before I properly meet your family?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I'd imagine there are some things you wouldn't want them to know so I'm asking beforehand."

"Oh yeah! Please don't mention the real reason we're in detention because they're going to question what secret you have for me that would result in us fighting."

"You mean you attacking me?"

"Did I beat you up?"

"No haha."

"Then we were fighting."

"Okay, what else?"

"Don't mention Sasuke to any of them."

"Don't worry about that, he's far from my mind. I haven't been fond of him lately."

"Hm, but why?" I asked and then he proceeded to look at me with a knowing expression. "I see."

"I'm glad you do."

That's when I started thinking, does he remember that he told me that he read my notebook?

Would it be a right time to bring it up? I was curious about it after all. I swear the more I interacted with Kiba was the more I wanted to know about him but didn't know if it was the right time ask.

"What's on your mind?" He asked, pulling me from my thoughts.

"Noth-"

"Don't lie. I don't like liars."

"Then you must hate me then."

"Hm, I didn't think of you as a liar Kit. I just think you're not confident within yourself and you don't see your own self worth."

"My own self worth? What's that supposed to mean?"

"Exactly what I said."

"Yeah, but in relations to what."

"Who do you think?"

"Sasuke? But what does he have to do with my self-" I tried, but was interrupted by someone knocking on the door.

"Naruto and Kiba! They said it's okay to come down now. They'd prefer all four of us to come down together so Gaara and I are waiting." Hinata informed us from the other side of the door.

"Just a seco-" I tried once more, but was interrupted by Kiba this time.

"We're coming!" He replied over me before looking at me with what I could read as disapproval. "We don't want to keep them waiting, anything you wanna talk about just save it until after dinner."

"..."

"Come on, buddy." He continued as he extended his arm, to which I took only because I knew I'd start arguing with him, and I also felt guilty about what I did to his jacket.

He took that opportunity to pull me into a hug which surprised me as I didn't anticipate it. He rubbed circles into my back and the anger that I felt before slowly began to melt away, I was inhaling so much of his scent that it subsided my anger, this was truly the smell that I couldn't identify earlier.

The smell that brought me over the edge and to my climax.

"Can you do this?" He asked as he broke the hug and looked me in eyes with his hands firmly gripping my shoulders.

What was this feeling?

"Of course I can." I replied confidently, though I felt unsure about something within myself.

β€’β€’β€’

All four of us went downstairs and were greeted by my over the top parents and my siblings who glared at me because they knew I should've given them a heads up, but to be fair I was in there position and I was happy so in response I just smirked at the both of them.

Hinata and Gaara were more reserved and didn't really like all the excitement, but Kiba was soaking it in for everyone.

"Look at all this! I am so appreciative of all this lovely meal accompanied by such a charismatic and loving ambience." Kiba boasted.

"That is so kind! I'm so happy that someone is appreciative of the effort that we put into this." Mom thanked him.

"And such short notice as well. Truly impressive." He commended them both, making both our parents heads swell more than they already were.

"This is the type of friends I appreciate you all bringing home." Dad complimented.

"Dad, we literally all are in the same friend group." Naruko pointed out. "Naruto just so happen to have became friends with Kiba."

"Is that jealousy I hear sis?" I teased, earning an eye roll from her.

"You wish. You just made a friend so we're still waiting on you to get a girlfriend and then maybe I'll acknowledge you more." She replied.

"That's just maybe." Menma agreed.

I noticed Kiba glanced at me once she said that, most likely he felt like I wouldn't felt some type of way, but I was already used to it.

"And when you finally marry Gaara is when I'll value your opinions." I shot back confidently, earning a chuckled from Kiba and Menma.

"Alright, alright, stop the bickering. Let's not be rude in front of our guest." Mom hushed. "Please everyone take a seat so we can feast together and get to know each other a bit more."

Our guest took their seats accordingly while we set the table for them, it was a regular practice so we had everything down to perfection. Once we were finished Mom and Dad sat at the ends of the table, while Naruko, Gaara and Menma sat one side and Kiba, me and Hinata sat on the other side, in that order.

We began to share our food from the variety that our parents had prepared, again in such a short amount of time. It consisted of ramen noodles, chicken broth, pork broth, some sushi, boiled eggs, slices of ham, slices of bacon, a boil of mixed vegetables, some rice, curry that I knew was from leftovers and a small strawberry cheesecake.

"Where'd the cheesecake come from?" I asked as I passed the bowl of rice to Kiba.

"Oh! I told Naruko to buy one from the mall on her way home."

"Awe, you didn't have to do that all for me." Kiba joked, knowing fully well that he loved it.

"You're so sweet! It was no problem at all, just please enjoy the meal that's all we ask." Mom cooed at him.

"How could I not? All this looks amazing, I'll have to go for more than just seconds." He smirked, earning a laugh from all of them except me and my siblings.

Even Gaara laughed and he doesn't get amused very often.

"A young man like you should have an appetite like that, it'll do you great in the future." Dad encouraged him.

"Of course sir. I need to keep fit for my team."

"So you play sports?" He asked.

"Yes sir! I'm captain of lacrosse team at our school."

"Oh! Captain you say?! Well it's nice to hear that. I hope you can rub off some of that sportsmanship onto Naruto here."

"Haha actually I have talked to him about it and he said he'll take it into consideration."

"What?!" Dad and Menma asked in unison.

"That's terrific! Minato and Menma have been trying for the longest to get Naruto to even watch sports with them." Mom added.

"Naruto doesn't even watch TV in general. I don't think he's going to join a sport at his school this late in his high school career." Naruko pointed out.

"Haha well if he decides too, as the captain I can pull a few strings for him and get him on the lacrosse team with me. I think he'll fit in just fine." Kiba advised them as he looked at me.

"Now that is a true friend." Dad commented. "Naruto I hope you do take it into consideration, it'll look great when you go off to college."

"One step at a time please dad." I replied, sinking down a bit in my chair.

I felt someone's hand squeezing my knee and when I looked down I noticed it was Kiba. I wondered if he was being reassuring, I guess he was as I wasn't feeling embarrassed or concerned anymore. His touch felt so warm and comforting, just like his jacket.

It was so weird how even the clothes he wore was just as effective on me as the actual person.

"Well, when I was your age I was on the wrestling team and I might've not been captain, but I was close to getting it." Dad explained.

"Really? What was that like five years ago?"

"Haha isn't he just full of compliments, Minato." Mom laughed alongside dad.

"I'd say, but unfortunately it was a lot longer than that." Dad corrected.

"Wow! You don't look a day over twenty so I can't even imagine how long."

"Haha thank you for that Kiba."

"Be careful with the compliments Kiba. We don't want Minato pulling out his high school wrestling uniform." Mom teased.

"Haha so I'm guessing you must've been the cheerleader at school slash, academic prodigy then, Mrs Uzumaki?" Kiba suggested.

"Haha close, or at least in my own head. When I was in school I was an absolute loner, much like Naruto but I was very focused on my studies and I preferred to keep it that way." She explained.

"Oh, so how did you two meet?" He asked.

Why was Kiba questioning my parents this much? Still I don't think the rest of mind as Naruko was chitchatting with Gaara and feeding him pieces of ham, while I assumed Menma was playing with Hinata under the table judging by how much she was shifting in her seat and he had a smug grin his while pretending to listen to the conversation.

As for me, I was just being comforted by Kiba's hand on my knee.

"Well, it's a funny story but one day I practicing with one of my teammates in the hallway and I guess we were really getting into it because he tossed me and I bumped into someone who then collided with the lockers." Dad began.

"That someone was me." Mom raised, her hand as she continued the story. " I was just minding my own business and doing my homework while walking as I did often. Out of nowhere I felt someone just hit me and the next thing I knew was I was on the floor against the lockers and this cute guy was just, all up on me and in my face."

"I was shocked when I saw that it was her. So immediately called her name and apologized like crazy because I knew she had reputation of having a bad temper and I was pissing myself." Dad admitted.

"It was like I was in a trance as this guy that I've liked for so long called my name, the fact that he knew my was shocking to me to say the least, but then I saw his friend and I just saw red at that point." Mom explained, a small smile sneaking up on her face as she remembered it.

"Next thing I knew Kushina pushed me to the side with such a force that I didn't expect and she approached my teammate who was laughing."

"The laughing didn't last long though as I just balled my hand into a fist and gave him a nice uppercut in stomach."

"Even though she sprained her wrist. I decided as an apology to help her with her assignments that she couldn't write on her own. Her father wasn't too fond to see me around her, but eventually he grew to appreciate me."

"Then through some miracle, he eventually asked me out on a date after losing a match as that was the only thing he could think of that would brighten his day."

The way they spoke about how they met always brought a smile to me and my siblings faces. It wasn't anything major but something so simple like that could be what started a long term relationship for some people and it always fascinated me.

I like to imagine that that's how Sasuke and I will be, starting off at just kissing in the bathroom to being something more in the future.

"Now look at you two, married for as long as it's been, having three beautiful children and still going strong together for the many years to come." Kiba complimented.

I swear this guy was working for an award.

"Awe Kiba that's so sweet of you to say. I hope that our kids take our past as an example of what to look for in a person." Mom advised the rest of us.

"I think they are, especially Menma over there. I think he's definitely looking for something in Hinata." Kiba teased causing Menma to freeze and me and Naruko to hide our laughter.

He was definitely stunned and I don't know why because he wasn't exactly the sneakiest person.

"Uh, um actually Kiba? I just remembered that you and Naruto are friends from detention, right? We should talk about how you two got there in the first place cause we don't know haha and I think it'll be an interesting story." Menma dared.

I was shocked to say the least because I truly believed with how well Kiba was acting that they wouldn't even remember that, but I guess Menma getting called out on something meant he wasn't going down alone.

So I kicked him under the table, which he couldn't make obvious or they'd get suspicious of him doing something.

"Oh yeah, you're that Kiba that he was fighting with all the time aren't you?" Mom asked.

"Yeah..." Kiba replied.

"What was with all of that anyway?" Dad asked.

"Well..." He paused standing up in front of all of us. "I think there was a misunderstanding between Naruto and I and now that I'm here I'd like to publicly say to him and his family that I'm sorry about that. I was a joker and I didn't realize how my actions affected other people even though we would fight, I always went back for more. But I guess the reason behind it was that I just wanted to make a new friend and didn't know how to approach him, so I went with what I knew best but I now realize that it wasn't the right way."

"Naruto is a good guy with an amazing personality that not a lot of people might know about. But I'm glad to now call him my friend and I'm hoping that I can make my other friends experience just how good of a guy he is."

"Thank you for that also Menma." He smiled, earning a glare from Menma. "You raised fine children by the way, Mr and Mrs Uzumaki."

To say I was surprised would be an understatement, I don't know if it was more about his confession or the fact that for the first time ever he actually called me by my actual name. Either way, I wanted to believe it was truth, but I knew this was all an act just to appease my parents, and get back at Menma.

"Thank you Kiba, that really means a lot." Mom replied genuinely.

"And that apology is more than accepted. We can see that you were also raised to be a fine young man and we're proud of our kids for acquiring a friend like you." Dad added.

"Indeed." Mom agreed as they smiled at each other.

"Just add him to the family already. He'll be the perfect addition." Menma teased.

"No! We don't need anymore more boys in the household." Naruko immediately disagreed which cause us all to laugh at her antics.

We sat around the table for just a bit more and endured all the stories Mom and Dad spoke about as well as some embarrassing stories about us as babies and that was when we decided it was enough and called it a late night.

Menma quickly got up and tried to leave with Hinata, but our parents stopped him and told him that she would be sleeping with Naruko,Β  he would be sleeping Gaara, and of course Kiba would be sleeping with me.

Menma whined about sleeping with other men and Naruko shot him down saying he's lucky anyone would sleep with him at all before taking Hinata and running off to their room to have a girls night over the phone.

Menma looked for Gaara but realized he had already left and gone up to the room and so he chased after him before he could find his "secret stash" which wasn't a secret anymore because Naruko and I have raided his room countless times.

I was just about to go up with Kiba but then I realized he wasn't with me. So I went back downstairs and peeked into the kitchen to see him cleaning up with my parents, they asked he didn't, but he insisted which I found actually kind of cute. Still it had me thinking about his own family.

Were they like this too, or was him doing all of this just him wanting to experience this type of thing even if it wasn't with his own family?

If it was the latter than I was definitely concerned about meeting them tomorrow.

β€’β€’β€’

Around midnight I still laid in bed staring at the ceiling once again. Kiba was still downstairs with my parents and it's been like that at least two hours and a half. There really wasn't a thought behind my blank expression as I just stared nothing and nothing stared at me.

What was I supposed to think of anyway? I was about to fall asleep without the friend who knew more about me than I knew of him.

I couldn't conjure up my own assumptions, not when he was in the same place as me.

However, was it the right time to try. He did say anything I wanted to talk about I should save it until after dinner.

But I'm beginning to feel like he's avoiding that. That is until he walked through the door.

"Sorry I'm up so late. Your dad was telling me about all his trophy days." He chuckled before closing the door behind him.

"He was?"

"Yeah, he sure has a lot of feats under his belt I can tell you that much. We even did a little wrestling practice, but he's definitely still go it cause he threw me down with ease." He stretched while holding the side of his neck.

"You two fought?"

"Yeah but it was no big deal. I just got a little scratch on my neck, but don't tell them, alright."

"Can I at least see just in case?" I asked out of curiosity.

Kiba came towards me and sat on the bed. I picked up my phone and turned on the flashlight to get a better look. It was a small scratch indeed but there was a little bit of blood coming from it.

"You're fine, it's just bleeding a little bit." I advised him.

"Where?" He asked raising his finger to me.

I took his finger and placed it on the scratch before turning my flashlight off. He wiped at it and looked at me before licking his finger like a puppy, earning a chuckle from me.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing, you just look like a puppy doing that."

"And you just always look like a fox."

"So I've been told by you all the time."

"I wouldn't expect anyone else to call you Kit, that's my job."

"Oh, so you forgot my actual name already. You surely used it in that act of yours at dinner."

"Act? I wasn't acting."

"You weren't?"

"Of course not! Well I was overreacting with the celebration and all that, but apart from that I was just enjoying your family's company and hospitality."

"Really?"

"Yeah, they're great. You're super lucky to have family like that."

"..."

"..."

Was this my chance?

"You say that like you aren't lucky..." I asked, hoping I wasn't making a mistake.

"Well, we can't always have everything we want in life."

"Why do you say that?"

"Why don't you just ask me what you want to know?" He insisted as he walked back to me and hovered over me on the bed.

"I don't want to pry into your life."

"Well I don't mind if you do." He admitted. "Truthfully it isn't something I talk about often, but I guess talking with you about certain things is easier for some reason."

"Like a safe place?"

"Hm, I wouldn't call you place, but you're definitely close to that." He chuckled. "But can we talk about it tomorrow? I just want to get some sleep right now."

"Hm, so early?"

"It's midnight, Kit. Everyone else is asleep."

"You expect me to believe that you go to sleep at these hours?"

"Not always, if I have someone to occupy my time."

"You have me." I replied with a confused look on my face. "Am I not a person anymore?"

"Haha it's not that and that's not what I meant when I said someone to occupy my time."

"Then what are talking about that I don't fit the criteria for?"

Kiba chuckled under his breath before leaning closer to me and placing his head beside mine and whispering into my ear.

"Hm, do you have something that I can fuck to keep me up?" He asked, sending a chill down my spine at the unexpected choice of words that he chose to say so close to me.

"..."

"Thought so..." He chuckled. "So where do I sleep?"

"W-What?" I asked. "In the bed, where else would you sleep?"

"I don't know, on the floor?"

"Did you bring a bed with you?"

"No."

"Then I guess it's the bed it is." I replied, making space for him to lay down.

"I don't think you'll like that."

"Why not? I'm not going to grope you while you sleep, ya know?"

"Haha that's not it at all. It's just I sleep in my underwear."

"I'd expect you too..."

"Only my underwear."

"Oh...OH! No, no, no! Not tonight." I protested.

"Then I'll sleep on the floor." He shrugged. "Do you have a sheet I can borrow?"

"Ugh...For the love of Kaguya. Why is that something you had to do?"

"It helps me sleep better."

"With your ass out and vulnerable? What if a fire starts?"

"Then the whole world would see my ass out and on fire."

"Tsk! Fine... just keep yourself on that side of the bed please."

"Yes sir, Kit sir!" He joked before removing his clothing and placing them on his backpack in the corner.

Even in the dim light Kiba's body looked more defined and firm. His muscles still seemed to be sculpted to perfection and the lower part of his body complimented the top nicely, even as he walked his ass was just AMAZING.

"Are you going to hog all the covers to yourself?" He asked, pulling me from my train of thoughts as he was already in bed and right behind me.

"Hm? Y-You can't come under here like that."

"Why not?"

"Why not? You're naked."

"So I'm supposed to freeze? Because I didn't bring any long sleeves because someone said they had my jacket."

"Tsk! Fine." I sighed before allowing him to get under the covers with me.

He then turned his back to me and I did the same. I didn't know why I felt so awkward every time he got naked like I haven't seen every inch of him already.

Maybe it was just me over thinking it, or maybe it was the fact that he was just that nice on the eyes for me.

"Good night, Kitten." He teased.

"Shut up."
