Takes place in canon AU

Sakura's family got attacked and died when she was away in the mission. Her mom and dad were all dead. All she had left was her friends. Was this how Naruto felt having no family?

She sat alone after the funeral. Her friends felt bad for what happened. Naruto told her "Things will be okay." But how will she be so sure about that. She hugged herself. It began raining. Heavily and heavier.

She was shocked she didn't manage to let out any tears. Just nothing. "Sakura. Are you okay?" Sakura saw Sasuke behind her. "O-Oh Sasuke. Yeah I'm fine." Sakura looked down as Sasuke sat next to her.

This was suddenly odd because he founded her annoying. "Sakura. I'm sorry. I know how it feels to lose a family." Sasuke answered while Sakura just looked up letting rain droplets drop on her face.

"Well compared to yours. Your whole clan got exterminated. So mines not serious here." Said Sakura. "Hmm... But it is. Your family got murdered. When you were out on a mission. I know it hurts somewhere."

"It does Sasuke."

Sasuke looks at Sakura. "Every time I want to get better and to stand beside you and Naruto. Looking back now. I'm just weak as I ever was." Sakura hugged herself. The rain poured harder than ever.

The two of them sat in silence.

"You will get Better Sakura."

"You lost people that you loved. That's the journey of being a Shinobi." Sakura looked at him. "But... you will meet other people that will be with you when your shinobi." Sasuke stands up. "There's nothing that I can now."

"You always have you at the end of the day. You know yourself better."

"So Sakura. Don't come to me for help. Because you have another person that needs help the most. You." Said Sasuke. "Sasuke..." He than leaned towards Sakura giving her a soft flick on the forehead.

"Get better Sakura."

Sakura touched the forehead he flicked. She softly smiled.

"I will. Sasuke."
