If you haven't read her books then please do. They're amazing...

Without further ado...

What inspired you to start writing?

I started writing as a way to get characters out of my head. I'd have scenarios that would run through my head and I found out that writing them out helped. My first ever finished "book" was a vampire story called "Forever and Always" that I carried around in a green binder during 6th grade. It was awful - grammar, spelling, the plot - all of it. Thankfully, I've gotten a bit better at the former two, the latter is kind of iffy.

Did you have any writers' block along the way? how did you get past them?

All the time, actually. Usually, when I get writer's block I try to put away the particular storyline I'm stuck on and move on to another one, change the music and somehow in the middle of all that I find what I'm looking for.

Do you see yourself in any characters and why?

I try to put a little of my personality into each of my characters, but mostly I choose the people who surround me to inspire their individual spirits. If I'm honest, I put a great deal of myself into Cassie's character. I wrote that book over a 2-year period where I was going through a personal situation moderately similar, I had a strong connection to what I was writing.

How old are you?

I'm 24.

How old were you when you started writing?

I was around 11 or 12 when I started.

Can you remember what you felt when you first started writing? what did you feel?

Mostly excitement, if I'm honest. I was finally putting it all on paper and getting it out of my head.

What's your outside life like?

I don't have much of an outside life if I'm honest. Until recently I didn't go out much aside from school and work, but I did meet someone a few months ago that is pushing me to experience new things and open up to the world around me.

How long, on average, does it take you to write a book?

It really depends. "Loving Cassie" took a while, nearly 1-2 years. I wrote it in a word document before it even hit Wattpad. The Red Mire Hearts series, however, have been months at a time. My supernatural books have taken a while too, nearly a year as well.

What does your family think about your writing?

They're very supportive, to say the least. My sister has sat with me through a million different plot lines and helped me develop my characters through the years and my dad was the one who bought my first laptop years ago.

What do you think makes a good story?

I think what makes a good story is the reader's ability to identify and connect with the characters. Whether they've experienced the same highs, lows, heartaches, triumphs, or just similar-ish experiences, it's important.

What's your favourite genre?

If I'm honest, I'm stuck between romance and the werewolf genres. Every story is unique in its own right, even if they don't seem like it. I like clear, cut HEA romances, but I'm a sucker for the ones that break your heart time and time again.

What's the hardest thing to write for you and why?

I struggle with action sequences quite a bit, mostly because I feel that I can't get enough description into the scene to depict what is going on in my mind.

Do you work on an outline or just go with the flow?

I try to use an outline, but it doesn't always work out that way.

Do you have anything specific you want to say to readers?

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has given one of my books a chance. The likes, votes, and especially the comments mean the world to me. The love y'all have for my characters and the massive amount of support is more than I ever could have imagined.

And lastly, Do you have any advice for new writers.

I think the best advice I could give is to write what you know and not to be afraid of putting your work out there. Whether it's good criticism or bad criticism, it's feedback to learn from. And finally, never, ever give up on your writing. Write it once, write it ten times if you have to, but don't ever toss your ideas aside.

There you have it, Don't forget to vote, share and comment.
