Julie and y/n have been best friends for years. Then one day, y/n realized her feelings for Julie. Obviously, being a girl, she had questions why she had to fall in love with her best friend.

Y/n tried pushing Julie away to make her feelings disappear. But unknowingly, Julie felt the same way about y/n.

"Y/n, why have you been ignoring me?" Julie had asked one day after school when y/n tried rising home to avoid Julie.

"It's nothing Julie. I don't want to hurt you," Y/n had said as she speed walked home.

Julie didn't give up and ran after her.

"Was it something I said?" Julie asked as she tried to keep up with y/n.

"No, I still want to be your best friend. But there's something else and I can't explain it," Y/n has said. She stopped on the sidewalk and Julie nearly ran into her.

"What you have a crush on me or something?" Julie joked.

Y/n stayed quiet and looked down. She nodded slowly before daring to meet the now shocked eyes of Julie.

"Yeah, I don't want to ruin this friendship though. I really like you and I know you won't like back. I'll just go," Y/n said as she turned away ashamed.

"Wait y/n," Julie said. She grabbed y/n's hand and pulled her into a very short kiss.

Y/n backed up shocked.

"I really like you too. And no matter what happens between us, well always be friends,"  Julie said.

Y/n blushed as Julie raised her hand and cupped y/n's face.

"Can I kiss you again?" Julie asked.

Y/n nodded slowly and their lips gently met. This kiss was still short but seemed to last for an eternity.

"Finally," A voice behind them said. Y/n and Julie pulled apart to see a smirking Flynn.

"Oh shut up," Y/n said as she covered her face.

"Come on, let's go best friends," Julie said linking her arms in Y/n's and Flynn arms.

Together the three walked down the street.

But Julie and y/n were just a little bit closer.
