XIIII

"G! We're gonna be late! Hurry up!"

"Beauty takes time you dipshit!"

"Georgia don't call your brother a dipshit!"

"Fine! Beauty takes time ugly!"

Silence.

"Mom! You're gonna let her get away with calling me ugly!"

"I'm too young for this. You two are going to give me gray hairs."

Georgia laughs.

She runs her fingers through her wild brown curls before applying lip gloss. Once she's done she looks in the mirror at her outfit making sure everything was perfect. For her first day of school she chose to wear a black crop top, high waisted ripped light blue jeans with fishnet tights underneath paired with her favorite worn out looking combat boots.

"Are you trying to get sent home your first day of school?"

Georgia jumps in fear before glaring lightly at Rebecca who grins sipping from her mug of tea.

"It's not too bad."

Rebecca scoffs and grabs a flannel off the back of the door before tossing it at Georgia.

"It's cute but I don't feel like being a responsible adult today and having a parent teacher conference because you showed too much skin."

Georgia pouts throwing on the red flannel, "At least it gives the outfit some color."

"You're gonna catch many wandering eyes... who knows maybe you'll even get a boyfriend."

Georgia shakes her head giving Rebecca a playful look, "Mhmm maybe. But you can't talk Ms. ohh look at Billy and his luscious locks. I wonder how it would feel if his strong muscly arms we-"

Rebecca stares at Georgia with wide eyes as she holds her hand over the girls mouth, "That was one time! You said we would never speak of it again."

Chuckling Georgia removes Rebecca's hand and grabs her backpack, "Yeah yeah. I just don't get it. The guys like 80."

"He's a good looking man for his age. And that was when I was younger and had a school girl crush on him. Harmless."

"Whatever you say."

Rebecca shoves Georgia's arm playfully before following her downstairs. Georgia grabs a granola bar then heads to the door where Beau waits impatiently.

"Ugh you took ages. I can't wait till our cars get here."

Georgia nods in agreement, "I know! I can't wait to be reunited with my baby. Ugh I miss little Frankie."

Beau shakes his head following her out the door and off the porch, "I still can't believe you named your Audi, Frankie. Such a luxurious car... yet you failed to even remotely give it a somewhat appropriate name."

Georgia gasps dramatically, "Says the guy who named his Gladiator Jeep, Thor."

Beau just chuckles and nods, "Yeah..."

Rolling her eyes, Georgia skips down the driveway and next door to Bella's house. She knocks on the front door and waits as she sees Charlie walking to open it.

"Morning Charlie!"

"Morning you two. Excited for school?"

"No."

"Definitely."

Charlie nods looking at the big grin on Georgia's face as her brother wears a contrasting dark grim frown.

"Bella, Beau and Georgia are here!"

"Coming!"

The three stand and watch Bella tumble down the last couple stairs. Charlie rushes forward and helps Bella up as the two siblings chuckle a little to themselves. Bella laughs at herself while looking at the two smiling teens.

"Yeah yeah laugh it up."

Georgia smiles, "You're so clumsy."

...

Bella parks her truck and turns off the car not before it lets out a loud sputter. Georgia looks over at Bella with wide eyes.

"So this is your baby... forever?"

Bella smiles, "Don't diss the truck."

Georgia holds up her hands in surrender before grabbing Beau's hand as he helps her out the car. Grabbing her bag and slinging it over her shoulder, Georgia walks between the two as they venture through the parking lot. It was as if time froze or they were in this crucial social ladder climbing scene in a movie.

Everyone was staring and whispering while looking at the three. Georgia saw envy in girls eyes and lust in the guys as they stared at her. Not that she minded. No way, Georgia loved the attention.

"Bella! Who's this?"

The three are stopped by a short smiling brunette wearing glasses with a camera around her neck. Georgia noticed a brilliant yellow and slightly orangish shadow around the girls figure. She could already tell that the girl had a big heart and was trustworthy.

"Angela this is my cousin and Beau's sister, Georgia. Georgia this is Angela."

Angela can't help but stare at Georgia. The girl was beautiful. Bella was pretty but never had she seen a girl with goddess like features since the Cullens.

"Hi it's nice to meet you. I'd love to get to know you more maybe even gossip about the cutest guys and bitchest girls... but I gotta go get my schedule before the bell rings."

Angela chuckles at the humorous girl as she nods, "Okay sure! We can just talk at lunch!"

Georgia nods and hurries away saying goodbye to Bella, pulling Beau along. The two walk toward the office hand in hand, disregarding the looks and whispers of them looking like a cute couple.

"Ew that's so gross."

Beau nods, "I know. Even when we were friends I never even thought of you like that. You were and will always be an ugly duckling to me."

Georgia freezes with her mouth dropped. She bursts out laughing and then continues to walk.

"I hate you."

...

The Cullens run throughout the forest hunting, careful to stay on their own territory and steer clear of the Quilette side. As Emmett is about to go off chasing a mountain lion, Alice freezes and lets out a loud gasp. Everyone hurries over and gathers around her waiting for her to come back to.

Alice blinks her eyes and then smiles widely glancing back and forth from Edward to Jasper.

"What was it Alice?"

Alice turns her head to look at the boy speaking with a southern drawl, "Something amazing."

Jasper looks at her suspiciously feeling nothing but excited vibes coming from her joyful body. He glances over at Edward who looks like he wants to read Alice's mind.

"Don't even think about it."

Edward sighs and nod slowly. He knew his family liked boundaries but usually if Alice had a vision she would want him to see it too. He wondered why this one was different.

"Our lives are about to change."

...

The day was going by super fast. Not that Georgia was complaining. It was already lunch time which she was happy about. It was her favorite subject.

Strutting into the cafeteria, eyes are once again all on her. At this point she wanted to flick everybody off and see if anyone would look away. The people in Forks had a staring problem.

Georgia hums to herself as she goes down the lunch line. She almost gags seeing a pile of green mush. She swore it moved as she walked by.

Deciding on a slice of pizza, fries, and a cookie she curses remembering that she also needed a drink. As she turns around she accidentally stumbles into an average looking jock.

"Sorry dude, my bad."

The guys grabs her arm pulling her to a stop. He gives her one of his million dollar smiles then frowns as she raises an eyebrow at him. She glances down at his hand and back into his eyes until he finally gets the message.

"I'm sorry. Hey look I'm-"

"Don't care. Sorry dude I'm starving and super ticked off that I've now wasted two minutes of my life standing here. It was sorta nice to meet you but I gotta go."

"Playing hard to get..." He chuckles, "I like that."

Georgia gives him a 'what the hell is wrong with you' look before shaking her head, "Wow that's the best you got... sad..."

Georgia wanted to burst out laughing at the guys utterly confused face. It seemed like the golden boy had never been rejected. Good... she was his first and hopefully this would be the last he would talk to her.

She maneuvers around his stunned body and grabs a soda before moving through the cafeteria and finding Beau with Bella at a table in the middle of the room. Beau pulls her chair out as she sits down beside him then puts his arm over her shoulder. She scoots a little closer to him and sighs in content. He was her stress reliever. She was upset he wasn't in any of her first three classes but was happy to know that they would be in the last two classes of the day together.

"Sooooo... another pretty new girl? What is going on?"

Georgia glances up at a mousy looking girl with dirty blonde almost brown hair. A reddish almost dark pink shadow gleamed around her figure. But there was a very thin brilliant yellow line.

The girl sounded jealous and a little immature but that honestly didn't bother Georgia in the slightest. This girl seemed like she would be a piece of work but she didn't give Georgia bad vibes. Hopefully they could grow closer once they get to know each other. Georgia didn't want enemies on her first day of school.

"I'm Georgia. You are?"

The girl looks stunned at Georgia as she holds out her hand waiting for her to take it. Knocking herself from shock, the girl grabs Georgia's hand and shakes it with a small smile.

"Jessica. Welcome to Forks where it is dreary all day."

"How fun."

"So was it really sunny where you came from too?" A boy with a blonde mop of hair and a blue Jersey jacket asks. A dark green and dark pink shadow formed around him.

"Yeah most of the time. I didn't like it though. It was really easy to get sun poisoning. Plus I like the cold."

"So Georgia you wouldn't mind if we ask you some questions about yourself for the newspaper would you? You're headline front page worthy."

Georgia smiles at the small Asian looking boy with black hair and glasses. A light blue shadow formed around his figure making Georgia feel like he was sweet and caring.

"What the heck why not? I love attention."

Everyone laughs as starts to chatter like they were all best friends. Georgia could get used to this place with these people. Her first day was almost over but definitely was a good one so far.

...

After lunch, Georgia tells Beau and Bella that she forgot her book in her locker. They tell her they'll catch up with her allowing her to jog to her destination. Dialing her code in she grabs her book then looks down at the stuff in her hand, wondering if she needed to get rid of anything before her next period. Suddenly, Georgia jumps back as her locker slams shut nearly missing her hand. She glares harshly at a girl who was standing now in front of her also glaring.

"Um excuse me?"

"No excuse me!"

Georgia looks at the blonde in front of her in awe.

'This girl really is doing the most for no absolute reason. This must be the Lauren that Bella warned me about earlier.' Georgia thinks to herself.

A dark pink and dark cloudy green like shadows form around the angry girl as she stares at Georgia.

"I don't know who the hell you are and I really don't want to. But all I do know is... if you ever slam my locker like that ever again, next time I'll make sure your head is blocking it."

Most people stop walking through the hallway and stand near as they watch the new girl and Lauren. Many were shocked that someone was actually standing up to her. But they were quickly learning that the new girl was not someone to mess with. Many were relived the Cullens were on a camping trip today. They wondered how the new girl would get along with the ice Queen, Rosalie.

Lauren rolls her eyes as she crosses her arms over her chest, "I'm Lauren, obviously you're new here so you don't know the rules. I'll gladly teach them to you. Look for example, you see that boy over there?"

Georgia rolls her eyes but turns to see the boy that the girl Lauren was talking about. He was average height, brunette, had green eyes, dimples. He wore jeans, a white shirt, and a black leather jacket. This was the jock she rejected earlier at lunch time.

Smirking, Georgia looks between the two and figures there must be something happening with the two of them. She decides to have a little fun. If the girl had the balls to slam her locker then she could continue to have them while she was getting dragged.

"The frumpy looking guy over there trying to seem intimidating while spinning an almost flat basketball on his finger? Oh yeah I see him."

Lauren's mouth drops as everyone else laughs quietly. Georgia smirks knowing just what kind of girl Lauren was. She knew how to deal with mean girls like her.

"I'm sorry are you in shock because no one usually talks back to you? Or are you just really good at looking stupid?"

Lauren glares as more laughs fill up the hallway.

"Listen new girl-"

"My name is Georgia..."

"Yeah whatever new girl... like I said that's my boyfriend. Don't think about him, don't look at him, don't even let his name come out of your mouth. We have enough sluts trying to get at him. Keyword trying and failing. And just so you know, I am the queen bitch. So don't you dare think just because you're new that you can come in here and change everything."

"Look blondie... number one, I don't know your boyfriend... number two, I don't care about your boyfriend... number three, I don't know you and I couldn't give two craps about you... and number four, I think you better get out of my face before I make you."

Lauren flinches slightly as Georgia glares at her then raises and eyebrow, challenging her to do something. Lauren frowns glancing around at all the students surprised faces.

"This is not over."

"Aw are you sure? It seems pretty much like it's over to me." Georgia replies sarcastically as she pouts.

Lauren lets out an annoyed squeal then jets off down the hallway. Her boyfriend races after her but not before winking at Georgia, who just rolls her eyes at him.

As the two disappear, Georgia huffs and turns back to her locker. She feels eyes on her and knows that the whole hallway of students were still there. She turns around and glares before smiling.

"Shows over. Now scram."

Georgia goes to turn back to her locker but freezes when she hears Beau and Bella run over to her.

"Oh my gosh are you okay?"

Beau scoffs looking at Bella, "Oh please G is fine. If anything someone needs to make sure blondie is okay. G went in on her."

Georgia chuckles, "She'll be fine. Just had to let her know, I'm not the one to mess with."

Nearby Alice stands hiding behind a trophy case. She smiles to herself before making her way out the building. She had just gotten back from hunting and tried to make sure no one saw her. She wanted to see the new girl in town and was not disappointed.

It was time.
