3rd Person's POV
Weeks pass by, interview after interview, fail after fail. No one had been a good match for Georgia and no one had said anything that made Jamie feel like their home was open and welcoming enough for Georgia.
Georgia had stayed at the foster home which is also where Jamie lived. And she had gone to school at the nearby highschool, Walter High. She hadn't made many friends but she didn't really care. Hopefully she wouldn't be staying around much longer.
"G! We got one more interview today then you're done."
"Done forever?!"
"No miss sass just for the day!"
"Boo!"
Jamie smiles lightly as she looks up the stairs. Within seconds she hears footsteps makng their way down the hall and Georgia appears in her sight. The girl had gone through alot in the past month and it had taken quite a toll on her. Jamie tries to hold her wide smile as Georgia makes her way down the stairs. She tries her hardest not to look at the now light scars that Georgia had tried to cover with her sleeve.
"How was therapy yesterday?"
"It was great actually. Mr Harris said that would be my last session!"
"That's amazing! I'm proud of you G. So that means no more of this right?"
Georgia glances down at Jamie's waving finger which had been pointing to the scars on her wrist. Her insides twist slightly and she thinks back to the first time this had happened. There was so much blood. So much fear. Jamie had broken down for the first time Georgia had ever seen. She was always happy and smiling but that night she had cried for the teen girl.
Shaking her head bringing herself out of recent yet old memories, Georgia nods with a light smile, "Yes ma'am no more."
"Good."
Jamie pulls Georgia into a tight hug. The two stay wrapped up together needing the comfort from one another. Jamie had loved all the foster kids that stayed with her and were in her care but there was just something about Georgia. Something different. Something that made her want... no need to protect the girl.
KNOCK KNOCK
A knock at the door brings the two out of embrace. Jamie squeals and runs to the door. Georgia shakes her head and follows the older lady as if she was chasing after a child. The two stand at the door holding hands, they both breathe in and release as Jamie opens the door.
"Hello Mr and Mrs Sawyer it's a pleasure to meet you. Thank you so much for coming."
"It's our pleasure. You must be Georgia. My name is Diane Sawyer and this is my husband Rowan Sawyer."
Georgia stands and stares at the two.
The woman had white blonde hair and dark blue eyes. Her skin was a pale white and her face was caked with makeup. Although she did not need it. The man was buff looking with strong hard facial features and a thick brown muscache to go with his brown hair and brown eyes. Standing together they both held a dark red and black hue that shadowed around them.
Georgia had started to feel uneasy but that quickly goes away as she feels Jamie grab her hand and squeeze it, letting her know that she was right there with her.
"Hello it's nice to meet you."
...
"When the doctor told me I was infertile I just couldn't bear the thought of never having a girl. I have three children already, all boys but my dream has always been to have a little girl. I've seen all my close friends have baby girls and their relationship with them is just so beautiful. I would love to have my own girl to share advice with, to help bake, to have shopping sprees, to braid hair with and do makeup, just anything and everything. I know you're already a teenager but I just feel like this could be something good for the both of us."
Rowan nods as he holds his wife's hand and rubs his thumb across it. Diane smiles lightly as she looks at Georgia who had been trying her hardest not to stare at the now clouded angry red that surrounded the woman. Georgia glances over at the man and sees his hue had changed to a clouded grey. She had no idea what was wrong with her and what was happening. She had felt indifferent about the Sawyers but maybe that was just because at this point she didn't want to leave Jamie.
Georgia sighs and holds her head, rubbing her temple making Jamie look over and frown. Jamie rubs the young girls back then looks back at the Sawyers with a wide smile.
"Why don't you two wait outside while Georgia and I talk and then I will be out in just a minute?"
"Okay that's fine." Diane grins and pulls her husband out the room.
As the door closes, Georgia lets out a huge breath and drops her head down on the table. Jamie sighs and plays with the girls hair.
"What's wrong G? How do you feel about them?"
"I don't know... I feel like they're nice I guess. But I just feel like there's something off. I don't know maybe I'm just scared... I don't want to leave you."
"Aw G... everything will be okay! Maybe you're just getting the nervous jitter bugs becuase this is something new and something that will change your life. I know just how you feel. I don't want you leave either but you have to grow and get out of this house. You have a couple and a family that want you as a new addition. Try... just a month and if you hate it then tell them you want to come back..."
Georgia sighs and looks out the window, "Okay I'll try."
Short chapter but what do y'all think?!
Do we like the Millers?
What was up with their aura colors? What do you think that means? (You could also check out the Aura lesson chapter I have and see what each color means.)
Also just note that there are I believe ten chapters before we start the movie. I want to show Georgia's background first, (which will be super important and come back up not just the first movie) I want y'all to know what happened to her growing up leading to how she acts when she's 17 in Forks.
Future predictions?
Any special requests...
