The group had ended the call shortly after. While Minho was teasing Robin on their call for twisting the truth, and Riley and Chris were already calling each other to decide when they could meet for their coffee, Alaska glanced at the boy a few feet away from her.

"Come here, come here, you have to taste this!" He turned around to face her, grinning at her. Alaska chuckled, seeing him so excited over baking. She got up from her chair and walked up to him.

"Mhm! That's amazing, lix!" She nodded in approval, making him smile.

"Just like you," he proclaimed and Alaska's cheeks turned red immediately. "What was the call about by the way?"

"Ah," Alaska breathed out, completely forgetting. Her mind was only focusing on the boy in front of her and anything else as if it disappeared from her memory. "Oh, right," she said, shaking her head to get her brain to work again. "There's a lot, for starters, Astran and Changbin are dating."

"Really? I am happy for them, they were all over each other when we were at the movies together."

"What? And you didn't share that with me??" Alaska questioned, overly dramatically.

Felix chuckled, patting her on her head, "you know now, love."

Alaska was certain she would melt any second. It was still unbelievable to her that her childhood crush liked her, and he was her soulmate! If someone told her it was all actually just a dream, she would believe them.

"I am going to finish the cookies and then we can watch something, yeah? You can pick whatever you want," he proclaimed, giving her a quick kiss on her forehead before turning around again to put the cookies into the oven. 

On the other side, Hyunjin and Izzy were walking together to her apartment. They weren't sure where Hana and Seungmin went, but they hoped it wasn't their apartment. In the best case scenario, they would be alone.

"Ah, I hope Amy didn't eat my bag of chips yesterday, I am craving them right now," Izzy said as she unlocked the front door. Hyunjin just simply followed her inside, closing the door behind them.

"I can go buy some if you want them," he offered, watching Izzy already rush to the kitchen to check if the chips were still there.

"No need," she shook her head, opening her snack drawer. "Ha! It's here!" She exclaimed excitedly, grabbing the bag immediately.

Hyunjin walked into the kitchen too, just watching her smile so widely over a bag of chips. He had a grin on his face too, he was so lucky to be able to see this. She was truly the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

"What are you smiling about?" She questioned, her smiling growing wider the more he looked at her.

"You," he proclaimed. "You're beautiful, as per usual."

"Are you flirting with me, Mr. Hwang?" She asked teasingly, walking closer to him.

"I don't know, am I, Mrs. future Hwang?" Hyunjin teased her right back.

He reached out for her hand the moment she was close enough, pulling her closer to himself. Izzy giggled, her hand holding onto the back of his neck as she leaned closer to him, kissing him.

"I could kiss you forever," she mumbled when they pulled away. This time, it was Hyunjin who giggled, agreeing with her.

"Then just do so," he proclaimed, placing his lips on hers again. His soft lips against her own felt like the best thing ever. But most importantly, it felt right.

"The movie?" He asked when she smiled at him the moment they pulled away again. She nodded, making him nod too. He held onto her hand, blindly following her to her room.

"Do you have any ideas on what to watch?" She asked, throwing the bag of chips on her bed, walking to her table for her laptop.

He nodded, sitting down on her bed. "I have one in mind, yeah."

"Oh, what is it?" She asked, turning around to face him with the laptop already in her hands.

"Surprise, that's what it is," he answered, making her roll her eyes with a chuckle. "It's a one you've already seen," he told her, patting the place on the bed next to him, showing her to just come and sit down. And she did exactly that. She walked up to him, handing him the laptop to search for the movie while she opened the bag of chips.

"So? What do you have?" She asked, peeking over his shoulder. He chuckled, putting the laptop on the bed, laying down on his stomach. "Is that..."

"It is," he agreed, watching her lay down next to him. "I remembered it correctly, this one is your favorite, right?" He asked to assure himself and Izzy nodded, a grin on her face.

He didn't ask her beforehand what she wanted to watch or what her favorite movie was, but he still managed to pick the best one possible. He remembered another small detail about her. He listened to what she said. Her mind was full of thoughts, about the movie, about what else he remembered about her, but mostly about him. Hyunjin was taking over her mind fully lately, and she could do nothing about it.

"Oh god, I think I love you," she breathed out.

Hyunjin's eyes widened. Did he just hear her correctly? He looked at her immediately, his eyes wandering around her whole face, trying to see if she meant it. "You think?"

It was only now that she realized she said it out loud. Her cheeks turned red and she nodded slightly. "...I know."

If she was red, he didn't want to know what his color was. His mind was a mess. She just told him she loved him, and it made him too stunned to speak.

"I didn't say anything, forget it," she blurted out, breaking their eye contact. She was so embarrassed she couldn't look at him.

"No, no, no, wait," he proclaimed, making her look at him again. They were both as red as a tomato now, trying to read each other. "You can't just- what?" He panicked.

"I love you, jinnie," she repeated, making sure she sounded stable. "You don't need to like say it back or anything," she assured him. "I just...want you to know."

"No, that's not what I mean," he shook his head. "I love you too, I do, a lot. I just- I didn't know you loved me too," he blurted out, himself getting lost in what he was saying.

They were both staring at each other for a second, not sure what to say. They were both speechless, trying to calm down their mind and realize what was happening.

"You...love me?" Izzy was the first one to speak up. He nodded, so hard she thought his head might fall down. She breathed out in relief, her lips slowly curving into a smile.

"And I don't plan on stopping," he assured her. "I never will."

"Promise?" Izzy asked.

"Promise," Hyunjin nodded. 

WAHHHHH how is it actually the end already?? 😭😭 Even though I sometimes hated this fic, it was mostly just for a moment and then I fell in love with it again. I live for hyunzzy and their relationship. Good thing I have more fics with the two of them because otherwise I probably wouldn't be able to finish this.
