"That's totally ordinary!!"

"Come on! We just had that villain attack. You sure about this?!" One student exclaimed. Aizawa sighed, his tiredness lingering in his voice, "It's necessary. To demonstrate that U.A.'s crisis management protocols are sound. That's the thinking, apparently,"

The teacher then continued, "Compared to past years, there'll be five times the police presence. Anyhow, our Sports Festival is the greatest opportunity you'll get."

"It's not an even that can be canceled over a few villains."

"A few villains? What the fu-" Rei furrowed her eyebrows at the remark from her sensei until Mineta interrupted her, "You sure about that? It's just a stupid Sports Festival.."

"Mineta..are you telling me you've never seen U.A.'s Sports Festival?!" Izuku turned towards his classmate with widened eyes.

The short grape boy replied, "Of course I have. That's not what I mean.."

The [hair color] haired teen had put her palm against her face as she gazed over Mineta, "It's basically like the Olympics."

"Naturally. You'll gain valuable experience and popularity if you're picked up by a big-name hero. But your time is limited. Show the pros what you're made of here, and you'll make futures for yourselves." Shota explained.

"Even after what we just went through, this has got me so freaking pumped!!" Kirishima shouted with a bright smile on his face. "If we show our stuff here, that's one big step towards going pro!"

"Everyone's so excited..." Midoriya sweatdropped as he looked over his fellow peers. Rei snickered in response as Iida questioned, "And you aren't? This is our chance to add our names to the ranks of heroes. Of course we're in high spirits!!"

"You look rather tense Iida.." Rei smiled nervously as frog girl nodded her head in agreement, "You got a funny way of showing it, Iida."

"Yeah, I get that!! But-" Izuku proclaimed but was soon interrupted. "Deku, Rei, Iida..."

"At this Sports Festival, let's do our best!!" Ochako held a menacing gaze towards her classmates. The greenette yelped in fear, "What happened to your face, Uraraka?!!"

"What the..? You're not looking very Uraraka, Uraraka." The alien girl spoke. "Maybe it's the ti-" Asui slapped Mineta with her tongue.

"Everyone!! I'm gonna crush this!" The brunette pumped her fist up in the air as she did a dramatic pose.

"Yeahhh, but talk about inconsistent characterization!!" Kirishima laughed, nervousness lingering in his voice.

Rei chuckled and patted the girl's head, "So cute"

After that, Ochako instantly lost her confident demeanor and was now in a blushing mess, leaving the [eye color] eyed girl laughing hysterically.

"Let's go to lunch now, yeah?"

"O-Okay Rei!!"

"You wanna be a hero for the money?!"

"Ultimately, yeah." Ochacko replied as she blushed in embarrassment towards her three peers.

"Sorry. I know it seems base and really embarrassing, considering Iida's noble motivations and all." The girl held her fuming cheeks while the glasses boy made weird gestures with his arms.

"But why?! There's really nothing wrong with seeking a more comfortable lifestyle!"

"Yeah...just a little unexpected.." Midoriya commented as he stood next to Rei, who seemed unbothered by the whole situation.

"My family runs a construction company, but business is bad. We're poorer than poor. Don't mention that to anyone okay?" The gravity girl continued to explain her story as she fumbled with her hair.

"If you got permission to use it, wouldn't your quirk help cut costs, Uraraka?" The greenette muttered.

"Right?! That's what I said to dad way back! So I'm gonna be a hero. I'll make that money, so that my mom and dad can have easier lives." The brunette spoke as she held a determined gaze in her eyes.

Iida and Midoriya were left speechless while Rei smiled and ruffled her friend's bob cut hair, "That's right Ochako! You go get that bag!!"

"R-Rei!! You're m-messing up my hair!!" The other girl whined with protest, but couldn't help to relax from the [skin color] hand running through her hair.

The blue haired teen shouted in agreement, "Uraraka, bravo!!"

The greenette seemed lost in thought but his eyes were still fixated on Rei running her hand through the brunette's locks. It makes him wonder...'[Name] would always do that when I was little..'

His ponder was soon interrupted as a huge figure dashed out from a corner. "Ohh!! Midoriya, kid. Found you!!"

The three students jolted in surprise as they turned towards the number one hero, All Might.

"Wanna eat lunch with me?" The blonde hero asked, lifting up a wrapped bento.

Ochacko spit out with laughter, "Like a schoolgirl!!"

"U-uh..sure.." Midoriya blinked and waved goodbye to Rei and his two other friends before disappearing out of their sight.

"Come on guys lets go get lunch I'm starving" The [hair color] haired girl hurriedly jogged towards the cafeteria, her friends mentally laughing at the girl's appetite.

As the trio waited in line for food, Uraraka began to converse with Iida as Rei munch on a small snack since her stomach wouldn't stop growling anytime soon.

"Wonder what he wants with Deku." The brunette spoke with utter interest.

The glasses boy responded as he did his unusual gestures, "I heard Midoriya dashed in to help when All Might was attacked. Maybe it's about that?"

"Oh yeah! Rei, you were there when it happened right?" Uraraka questioned as she glanced at her crush.

Rei looked up from her snack and let out a small hum. "Yeah, I was there. Couldn't believe he just went there without any strategy. He literally could've get himself killed for goodness' sake.."

The infinity girl giggled towards her friend's protective manner, "You must be really close with Deku huh?"

"You could say that."

"[Last Name]. I was wondering how you met Midoriya since the both of you are indeed very close with each other." Tenya looked down upon the [hair color] haired teen with curiosity.

Rei finished her snack and had put her hands on her hips, "Well..it's nothing much. We met in Junior High and Bakugo was there as well," She seemed to ponder in thought, then continued, "I also made a promise to someone to look after him."

Both Iida and Ochako nodded in understanding and didn't question any further.

Eventually, the trio were changing back to the topic of Deku and All Might. "Oh yeah! Asui mentioned they have similar super strength."

"Perhaps All Might has taken a liking to him." Iida answered while Rei chuckled, "I swear, they're literally like father and son"

AFTER SCHOOL

As the [hair color] haired girl was finishing packing her things, her eyes glanced at the exit and saw a mob of students.

"Whoaa..What's going on?!" Uraraka exclaimed while Rei walked up next to Midoriya.

"No way out! What're they here for??" Mineta gripped the straps of his backpack nervously. "Scoping out the competition, duh, small fry." The ash blonde responded, walking ahead in front of his peers.

"Because we're the kids who survived a villain attack. Makes sense they'd want a look before the Sports Festival."

"No point, though. Move aside, cannon fodder." Katsuki glared with a menacing look as Iida gestured his arm in a chopping motion, "Can we please not resort to calling those we don't even know cannon fodder?!"

Rei mentally rolled her eyes at the remark from the explosion boy. "It's true. We came to get a look, but you sure are modest." A voice spoke among the crowd as a tall figure loomed behind the mob.

"Are all kids in the hero course like this one?" The voice retorted as Bakugo irked in annoyance, "Huh?!"

"Depending on the results of this Sports Festival, they might consider transferring us to the hero course." The voice that belonged to a boy then appeared in front of the crowd, gazing at the class of 1-A.

He then continued, "I understand the reverse is also possible for you. Scoping out the competition? For a General Studies kid like me, this'll be the perfect chance to knock you off your pedestals. Consider this a Declaration of War."

Rei blinked as the Dekusquad flinched in fear, 'This guy too. So daring!!'

'Wait, why is he kinda fine tho-' [Last Name]'s thought was interrupted by a yell from outside the classroom.

"Hey. I'm from Class 1-B, next door!! Heard you guys fought some villains. Wanted to find out more, but all I'm seeing is this arrogant bastard!! You better not make fools of the hero course at thing!!"

Silence loomed over Class 1-A as Iida, Midoriya, and Uraraka shivered in fear while glancing at the hotheaded boy.

Katsuki then shoved his way out of the crowd which Kirishima exclaimed, "Wait, you jerk. What're you doing to us? Thanks to you we've got a whole mob of haters now!!"

"I don't give a shit..I'm heading for the top. Why should I care?" The ash blonde responded angrily.

Kirishima gasped and clenched his fist, "Tch!! So straightforward and manly."

"The top...he's not wrong." Tokoyami uttered with a calm look on his expression. "Don't let him play you! All he's doing is winning us enemies!" Denki retorted.

Rei sighed and walked in front of the crowd, giving them a small smile before her calm aura suddenly spiked, "May the best class win."

The crowd's eyes widened, so did some students from Class 1-A. They never felt this type of presence before, just who is this girl? The purple haired boy rose a brow as he spared a glance at Rei.

"Move Bitchsuki" [Last Name] spoke as she made her way into the crowd and none other than the ash blonde standing in her way

His eye twitched in anger and yelled at her, "What did you say to me you dumbass?!"

Rei held back a chuckle and just gently shoved him out of the way, before walking with sprint to get out of Bakugo's sight.

Not even less than 5 seconds, Bakugo uttered out curses towards the female and started to chase after her, which left the crowd and Class 1-A in utter confusion.

"I'm home!" Rei yelled out as she closed the door from her humble abode. Silence filled the house as she settled down and entered into the training room.

"Hellooo anyone there?" The teen huffed in annoyance since a friend of hers would promise her that they would train with the girl.

As soon as she entered into the training room, her eyes gazed upon a man sitting down on a bench, his hand gripping onto a water bottle to quench his thirst.

Rei heaved a sigh in relief as she knocked on the door frame, earning the attention from the male who was finished working out.

"Oh, you're back." His brown hair swished as he turned his head to look at his friend. "Did you get the hair dye?" The [hair color] haired girl asked while she was walking over to him.

The man nodded and took a [hair color] dye from his pocket before tossing it to the female. "I still don't get why you were using a wig back then."

The female rolled her [eye color] eyes as she caught the material. "I had to be quick, I guess."

"...that doesn't make any sense but alright." The male chuckled as he dodged from an incoming punch from Rei.

"Whatever, let me get ready first hold on." The girl quickly grabbed her training clothes and went into the bathroom to go change.

After that, Rei and the man were at a distance apart while they were stretching their limbs to loosen up. "Hey, you wanna bet on who's gonna win?" The girl smirked as the man pondered in thought.

"Sure. If I win, we're getting food."

"What the hell?! That was my plan to win!!" Rei argued, her brows furrowing in annoyance.

The man shrugged his shoulders as he got ready into a battle stance. "Better think of something else then."

"Ugh, fine. If I win, you're teaching me that coin trick since you refuse every time I ask."

The brunette smirked in response, "Fair enough."

Rei smiled as her eyes began to glimmer a [favorite color] hue, fully turning on her quirk. "I am so gonna beat your ass, Connor."

"We'll see about that, Rei."
