Izzy laughed, playing with her cat Snowy while her dad put the plates on the table. "Is it just the two of us after all?" He wondered, making the brunette turn around to face him.

Her smile dropped a bit as she looked at the clock on the wall. She didn't know what to answer. It wasn't supposed to be just the two of them, but there was no sign of anyone coming soon. "I don't know," she admitted quietly.

"Well then, do you want to call Amy and Hana instead?" He suggested, trying to make her feel at least a bit better. He made a mental note to himself to kick her boyfriend once he finally meets him.

Izzy shook her head, "they are both with Seungmin and Minho in their apartment. I think Jeongin and Mya might be there with them too unless they decided to spend Christmas with their parents too in the end." He nodded to her, understanding.

"Just come eat then, we can have a great time without anyone else, too," he proclaimed, smiling at his daughter. Izzy smiled too, nodding. "Of course," she agreed. "I love you, dad." 

Meanwhile, Hyunjin was screaming at Changbin to drive faster, nervously looking at the time on his phone. "Chill out," Astran tried to calm him down. "You should be glad he is driving you, we could have been opening our presents now, you know."

"I know, I know, I am sorry," Hyunjin sighed. "But I am nervous, and I have a reason why. They are both going to kill me. It's the first time I am meeting her dad and I am already late!" He whined. Changbin glanced at him, getting his worries completely. He was as nervous - if not more - about meeting Astran's parents before too.

"It will be alright!" Astran assured him, but Hyunjin just couldn't believe him no matter how much he wanted to. "Izzy's dad is nice, he will understand!"

"He might be nice, but I heard about his standards when it comes to dating his daughter. I am sure he already gave me minus points and we haven't even met yet."

"You just have to hope for the best then," Changbin proclaimed, focusing on the road again when the traffic light turned green. 

"Thanks, and I am sorry, again," Hyunjin sighed, looking at the two boys in the car. They were finally in front of the apartment building, and Hyunjin felt even more nervous than before. "It's fine, you're lucky you're pretty," Changbin answered, fake-crying when his boyfriend hit his arm. "I am right here," he reminded him, making the older boy chuckle. Changbin leaned towards him, placing his lips on Astran's.

Hyunjin shook his head at the two of them, slightly waving at his friends before he turned around and with one deep breath walked to the building. He took out his spare keys, opened the main door, and walked to the elevator, going to the fourth floor where Izzy's, and the Cheong sisters' apartment was located.

"Let's just believe they won't kill me," he mumbled to himself, opening the door of their apartment. He took down his shoes in the door, putting them aside as always. Once his jacket was down too he walked towards the common room, awkwardly smiling at the two sitting there.

The brunette formed a smile, relief and happiness in her expression. Hyunjin took a few steps towards them, bowing immediately. "I am so sorry for being late, there was an accident on the stage and we had to stay for longer," he apologized.

Izzy's eyes widened right away, "is everyone okay? What happened?" She almost jumped out of her place, but thankfully Hyunjin made his way to her in time, calming her down. "Everyone's alright, don't worry," he assured her.

"As long as everyone's fine," Izzy's dad mumbled, catching Hyunjin's attention. "We didn't open any presents yet," Izzy grabbed Hyunjin's hand, and he nodded. "I am truly sorry I missed dinner, it wasn't intentional," Hyunjin apologized again, making the older man chuckle. He shook his head, somehow making Hyunjin feel more at ease.

"Let's just look at the gifts, shall we?"

Hyunjin sat on the couch, the brunette cuddling with him, sitting on his lap while her dad was next to them, handing his daughter her presents. "Oh? A book?" Izzy smiled, unwrapping the gift. "Oh my god, I wanted to get this one for so long!" She gasped, thanking her dad immediately.

"I was scared for a second when I saw the author," Hyunjin sighed, his arms wrapped around her waist. "I almost bought you this one too," he confessed, watching as her dad handed her another present. "Even if you bought me the same book I would keep it," she smiled at him, placing a kiss on his cheek before she unwrapped the other present.

"Oh, wow, thank you," Izzy's dad mumbled, surprised at the book in his hands. "No need to thank me, sir. Izzy picked your gifts, I was just the one paying," Hyunjin laughed awkwardly, glad he liked the gift. If he was honest, he was still nervous about what he was thinking, but he also felt like he left a good first impression. Or at least he hoped that was the case.

"I also have a present for you," he proclaimed, getting up to give Hyunjin the remaining present. "Izzy helped me with it a lot, so I hope you'll like it." Hyunjin smiled, taking the gift into his hands. "Thank you, sir."

"No need to call me sir, kid," Izzy's dad chuckled a bit, sitting down again. "Ah, okay," Hyunjin said awkwardly, making Izzy chuckle. She shook her head at him, watching him unwrap his present, while still sitting on him. "I also hope you'll like it," she smiled, creating a smile on his face too.

"I'll love anything you give me," he assured her. "You know that, darling." She grinned, nodding. "I'd kiss you right now if we were alone," she whispered into his ear, making sure her dad didn't hear her. "And maybe do more than just that too," she smirked.

"Izzy," Hyunjin warned her, but she just laughed it off.

Izzy's dad watched the two of them, shaking his head. "Alright, I think I should go now," he smiled at the two, standing up. "Already? You can stay longer," Izzy said, but he just shook his head. "You deserve to have a bit of time just for yourself too. I'll come tomorrow again to give presents to Amy and Hana and we can hang out some more," he proclaimed, making her nod.

Izzy stood up, Hyunjin following her immediately. The two of them walked him to the door, Hyunjin just awkwardly standing on the side as Izzy talked to her dad. He still wasn't sure if he left a good impression or not, but the smile Izzy gave him when she was talking to her dad made him feel like he did a good job.

"I like him," he proclaimed, Izzy's eyes widening. "Really?" He chuckled, nodding. "I think he is nice, I have a feeling he is going to treat you right. But most importantly, you look really happy with him. I don't think I've seen you as happy yet, I am glad he makes you feel that way."

The brunette nodded, glancing at her boyfriends with a smile before she turned to her dad again. "He is incredible. I am glad I have him in my life."

"That's good," he smiled. "Have fun tonight, but not too much fun, yeah?" Izzy laughed, nodding to him. She knew she couldn't promise anything though. Who knew what was going to happen once they were alone.

Izzy hugged her boyfriend immediately after closing the front door, placing her lips on his. He chuckled, pulling her closer to himself. "He likes you," she mumbled happily. "I knew he would love you," she added, smiling at him like the sunshine she was.

"And if he didn't end up liking me?"

"I would still love you," she said, grabbing his hand. She intertwined her fingers with his, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him again. "I could never stop loving you," she assured him.

He leaned closer to her, his free hand cupping her face as he kissed her again. "The same goes for me, my love," he smiled into the kiss. "No matter what anyone thinks, I will love you to the moon and back."

"To the moon and back," Izzy repeated after him, connecting their lips again. "Merry Christmas, love."

"Merry Christmas, darling."
