The black haired girl huffed herself more in her puffed jacket, fixing her beanie. It was snowing, and she was freezing from the cold, but she was glad she could still spend time with her friends.

"I swear they are giving us more and more work, they don't care about our free time, or that we have holidays at all," Mya complained, warming her hands with the hot tea she was holding. Not even the gloves were enough in the cold.

"Welcome to college life," Riley next to her laughed, taking a sip of her hot coffee. "I don't really have anything to do to be honest," Izzy mumbled quietly, glancing at Mya to see her reaction. They were both in their first years, only with the difference of Izzy being art education major and Mya studying musical theater. "I don't have anything I need to do either, I finished everything before our break," Hana commented, confusedly watching Mya expression change.

"That's not fair! I have a whole project to do!" Riley joined Mya in the complaining, Alaska saying she has a lot to do too soon after. Astran rather didn't say anything at all, knowing he probably had the least work to do.

"Let's not argue on Christmas guys," Izzy chuckled, trying to calm them down. "We are not arguing, but it's unfair," Amy agreed with Riley and the other two girls, putting her hands into her jacket's pockets to warm herself a bit.

Hana shook her head at her sister, watching her friends with a smile on her face. Izzy grinned too when she saw her and wrapped her arm around Hana's, putting her hand into her pocket after that, leading the way. "Let's go to the markets! I want to get myself a coffee now too!"

Astran and the girls shook their heads at her, following the two youngest without any questions.ย

"This beanie is so cute!" Alaska proclaimed, eyeing all the clothes. Mya next to her shook her head, trying to calm her down and tell her to not spend all her money again.

Riley and Astran were standing in the kiosk right next to them, arguing over what alcohol they should buy. Honestly, Riley didn't even care about what they would take anymore, she just wanted to get drunk. "Fine, fine, buy whatever," she sighed, watching Astran grin as they turned to the boy selling it.

"Laska, do you want a drink too?" Riley glanced at her best friend, making her look away from the beanie. "Hell yeah, who do you think I am," she agreed, laughing. Riley nodded, turning to Amy next. She had no intention of asking the first years if they wanted anything, she knew they would say no anyway. She and Alaska tried many times to get Mya to drink something with them, but always failed miserably, so she decided to not even try today. At least she could save some money.

"I'll be pissed if I don't get a drink," Amy said, seriously looking into Riley's eyes before she started laughing. "Don't worry, I ordered everything already," Astran proclaimed, turning to face the girls.

Hana and Izzy were a few stalls away from them, too. Izzy wanted her coffee and convinced Hana to come with her while the others stayed behind. It was only now that Hana realized why Izzy waited to get herself a coffee here instead of the cafรฉ where Riley was buying herself one. She didn't need to be a genius to see how she looked at the boy selling the hot drinks.

"You're here again," he chuckled. The brunette proudly nodded, asking him for the same order she did yesterday and the day before. Hana shook her head at Izzy's obviousness, taking a sip of her tea. "Do you want something too?" She turned to Hana, forgetting she already had her drink. "Right, never mind," she laughed, embarrassed.

"Alright, here's your drink," the taller boy smiled, handing the brunette her coffee. Izzy took the drink from him, slightly blushing. Hana was pretty sure it wasn't just from the cold and the fact Izzy refused to bring a scarf. He was the reason why Izzy was blushing, and she found it cute.

"Thank you..." She said, making a pause for his name. It was really obvious what she was trying to do, but he didn't mind at all. "Hyunjin, my name is Hyunjin," he introduced himself with a small chuckle. She nodded, smiling like a little sunshine. "I am Izzy," she proclaimed, and he nodded. "I'll see you next time, Izzy," he winked at her, making her face turn bright red.

Hana shook her head again and grabbed Izzy's hand. "Let's go, I am cold and Mya can't handle all four of them for too long," she said, already walking away from the kiosk. Hyunjin watched them, chuckling as tried to wave at him before walking away. He waved back at her, not even noticing he had another customer coming in. And he wasn't the only one who didn't notice.

Hana was so busy trying to get Izzy to look in front of herself instead of the male behind them that she also didn't notice anyone walking opposite them and managed to bump into the male, spilling her tea all over his jacket.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry," she apologized immediately, already panicking. That managed to get Izzy's full attention, and she was already turning to Hyunjin again to get some tissues from him.

"It's fine, it happens," he proclaimed, taking the tissues from the brunette to try and clean it. Hana's eyes widened when she realized she recognized that voice. She looked up to see his face, confirming it really was him.

Kim Seungmin, one of the most talented people she knew.ย

The two of them didn't actually know each other, they never talked together, but they went to the same University. They each studied different majors, but Hana always saw him in the school library or singing in one of the classrooms with Mya's boyfriend Jeongin when they thought no one could hear them.

But Hana heard them, and she fell in love with Seungmin's voice.

"I know I should be helping her clean it up," Izzy said, looking back at her best friend and the taller boy - with tea all over his jacket - and then back at Hyunjin. "But before she makes me leave again, can I get your number?" She blurted out quickly. The way her eyes were sparkling made him chuckle and nod. "Yes," she mumbled to herself victoriously, pulling out her phone and handing it to him.

While Izzy was winning in her love life again, Hana wanted to disappear. Why was she the lucky one to bump into him? Why did it have to be him from all the people? She wondered what she did in life for the universe to make her first conversation with him be about her spilling her tea on him.

"I am so sorry," she sighed, and he just smiled, shaking his head again. It was incredible how his smile made her feel. She never thought she could have a crush on a boy she never talked to, but it happened.

"Don't worry about it, really. I wasn't looking where I was going either," he assured her. "You're Hana, right?" Seungmin asked, glancing at the brunette that walked back to them with the biggest grin on her face. "And you're Izzy."

The two girls looked at each other confusedly, nodding to him. He smiled, proud of himself for getting it right. "I am Seungmin," he introduced himself, assuming they didn't know him. "I am not a creep or anything, I swear," he said defensively when he saw Izzy's suspicious look. "I just see you hanging out with Jeongin and Mya often," he explained.

"Wait and how do you know them?" Izzy asked confusedly. "He is Jeongin's best friend," Hana informed her before Seungmin could. "So you know me?" He asked and Hana nodded in embarrassment. "Jeongin mentioned you before," she said, not mentioning anything about the times she heard him sing.

"Oh yeah, I think I know who you are too," Izzy slightly nodded. "We are hanging out with Mya and a few other friends now actually, do you want to join us?" Seungmin opened his mouth to answer but then he changed his mind, turning his head to the back as if he was looking for someone. He just sighed, looking back at the two girls. "You know what? Sure," he agreed. "Let me just get an americano first, I am dying," he chuckled and Hyunjin already got started on his order.

Hana and Izzy came back to their group with the taller boy, Mya and Alaska greeting him immediately. Hana had no idea Laska knew him too, but apparently she did. She mentioned something about working on a project together last year and thanks to that, Hana found out he was studying photography.

"How did these two even convince you to join us? I'd probably run the other direction if I saw Izzy try to talk me into meeting anyone," Amy laughed, Izzy nudging her shoulder right away. "I am not that bad," she rolled her eyes.

"I have nothing to do now," he shrugged. "You came here alone?" Astran questioned. Hana noticed a change in Seungmin's expression when Astran asked, she was sure he didn't come alone. Still, he lied and said he did. "I was planning on just buying some Christmas gifts for my family and then leaving so I didn't bring anyone with me."

"We can help you with picking things then," Laska proclaimed confidently.ย

"It's fine, I looked around already, I am just going to order something when I get home."

"Well, I need to buy presents for my roommates though so we are going to pick something," Riley said and the group got into work immediately, already walking again to see what everyone was selling.

While the so-called golden trio were in the front and Amy, Izzy and Astran right behind them, pointing at everything they liked, Hana and Seungmin walked last, both of them having their hands in their pockets, barely saying anything.

Seungmin sighed and that was the moment Hana decided to actually speak up. "Don't freak out, but I think you have a really beautiful voice," she mumbled, making the boy turn his head towards her. "What...?" He questioned confusedly. "I heard you sing before," she explained, her face slightly red. "I think you're really good."

"You heard me sing? When?" He asked, embarrassed. "You and Jeongin go to the biology classroom when no one has lectures there. And I am not following you or anything, I swear, I just happen to have my lesson in the class next to it, so I hear it when I am passing by," she blurted out quickly when she realized she looked as if she was stalking him.

He chuckled, finding it cute. "It's fine, I didn't think you would be the type to follow me around," he laughed and Hana could see herself falling in love with that laugh.

It was weird to say, but she was falling for him already, and she barely knew him.

Sadly, at that time she didn't know yet that there was no way she could fall in love with him. She couldn't even like him as more than a friend, no matter how much she wanted to.

"You didn't come here alone, did you?"

Seungmin's eyes widened, surprised she knew even that. Jeongin mentioned before that she was smart, but he didn't think she was this smart. He thought he was a pretty good liar, but apparently not. "How did you guess?"

"Just a feeling," she mumbled, looking down at the snow under her feet. He nodded, "you have a good intuition then."

"Why are you here with us then?" She asked another question. He just shrugged, "I'd rather be here with you and look for presents for Riley's friends than stand three hours in front of one shop, waiting for her to pick a few pieces of clothing," he proclaimed casually. "Did you come with your sister?" Hana wondered, but before he could even say anything she got her answer.

"Seungmin! Here you are!" A tall, dark haired girl ran to them, two shopping bags in her hands. "I've been looking for you like everywhere! I told you to wait in front of the shop," she said, making even the six people in front of them stop and take the few steps back to Hana and Seungmin.

Seungmin sighed. "Yeah, yeah, I went to get myself a coffee, I was getting tired," he explained. "And bumped into them so I tagged along, sorry."

She sighed too, looking at the group of friends. "It's fine," she shook her head. "I was just worried. I am Eun," she introduced herself, slightly bowing. "I am sorry to take him away from you, but can we leave now?" She looked at Seungmin again. "I got the clothes for your sister and got some things for your parents too so we are all good now."

He nodded, glancing at Hana and the others. "Alright, I have to go, my girl is done shopping," he chuckled, waving at them before he held Eun's hand and turned around to leave.

His girl. Hana repeated the words inside her head. Of course he had a girlfriend, he was too good to not have one. She watched his back as they walked away and then looked at her friends, trying to not show that she was actually hurt by it.

"Why are we still standing here? Let's go," Amy said, grabbing Astran to walk with him in the front. Izzy was pretty sure she just wanted to talk to him about boys and shook her head at them. Riley, Mya and Alaska followed them right away and Izzy started walking too, but Hana stopped her, grabbing her hands. The brunette turned to her, questioning what she needed.

"What's up?" She asked, holding onto her hand. She didn't need to know why, but if Hana wanted, or needed, to hold her hand she was going to do it. "He has a girl," she whispered and Izzy realized what was going on right away. "Oh, Hana," she breathed out, pulling the shorter girl into a tight hug.

"Is Seungmin the school crush you told me about before?" She asked, for the first time today not smiling. She hated seeing Hana sad, it made her sad too. "It'll be okay, it's just a boy," she reminded her.

Hana knew it wasn't a big deal. It was just a boy she didn't even know properly. But still, even though it was weird to say, he felt like the right person. And seeing the boy she though was her right person made her a bit sad, and tired if she must say.ย

She was tired of liking people she couldn't be with.ย
