Amy did another round around the ice rink, doing a few jumps and spins on her way so she could practice. It was dark already and she shouldn't even be there that late, but she couldn't help it. It felt different during night when the only lights in the room were the ones pointing at the ice. It felt better.

"Nice form."

Amy turned around, stopping. She was breathing a lot, and maybe she didn't look the prettiest at the moment, but she didn't care about that at all at the moment. All that mattered to her was that he actually came, even though it was already almost eight pm on October night.

"Looks like you used my advice after all," he smirked, stepping on the ice with his hockey skates on.

"Maybe I did," she nodded, watching Minho skate to her. He didn't stop when he reached her though. Instead, he did a turn, making sure he was facing her as he skated backwards around the ice rink. She went right after him, slowing down once she reached him as he couldn't be that fast while skating backwards.

They kept looking into each other's eyes, not saying anything as they did another round. "It should be locked at this hour," he commented quietly, as if he didn't want to break the silence. "I know a person," Amy shrugged, chuckling when he almost fell down.

"I want to see you skate backwards," Minho rolled his eyes at her, not thinking much about the smirk he just created on her face. She definitely wasn't against that challenge. She stopped, making him stop too. She grinned and started to move to the back, keeping her eyes at him.

She did a perfect - and way faster than he did - round around the ice rink and Minho just watched her in awe. He knew she was good, but he would have never guessed she was this good. She did her ending pose right in front of him, not taking her eyes off him. "So, what do you think?" She asked, teasing him a bit.

He breathed out with a chuckle, shaking his head at her. "You really are amazing," he admitted with a nod, as if he only just now acknowledged her. He saw the change in her eyes when he said it and immediately felt embarrassed. He was pretty sure even his ears were red.

He skated to the middle of the ice rink, and Amy followed him without any doubts, trying to see what he was doing. Minho sat down on the ice, and Amy was glad she had warm pants on. She sat down opposite him, finally resting for a moment.

"Why did you ask me to come here?"

"I don't know," she answered, tilting her head a bit to the side. "Maybe I just wanted to see if you would come."

"Of course I would come," he mumbled quietly. "God, I even have your skating schedule on my desk."

Amy grinned, happy to finally hear him admit it. "I think you like me, Mr. Lee," she commented with a smile, still carefully watching him.

"I think you are seeing things, Mrs. Cheong."

"But maybe I am not," she shrugged. "Maybe you're not," he nodded, not denying anything anymore. "And maybe, you like me as much, if not more."

"I think I do, Minho," she whispered, not even thinking about rejection anymore, which was what she was scared of the most in the past weeks. She knew she liked him back in September when they kept bumping into each other on the ice with him having his trainings right after her, but she couldn't bring herself to say anything when all they did was teasing each other. "I really like you, and your stupidly pretty eyes, too."

He scoffed, but shut his mouth immediately when he noticed that for once she wasn't just joking around. "I like you too, Amy," he proclaimed carefully. "I like that annoyingly beautiful smile of yours when you tease me a lot more than I thought I did."

Amy was trying to hold back her smile, but she couldn't. She must say, it was a perfect night. Not only did she get to skate, but she was sitting with Minho, the hot hockey player, in the middle of the ice rink, listening to him confess to her.

It felt like a scene from a movie, and Amy liked being the main character for once.

this idea was sitting in the back of my mind for like forever so I am glad I got to put it into a one-shot at least. What do you guys think about it?? I feel like I don't write Amy and Minho that much, Seunghana and Hyunzzy definitely have more "screen time" than these two but I still love them together and ngl I can't wait to start working on their fic that is sitting in my drafts for the past š months or so lol
