"I heard your boyfriend is in the crowd tonight," number nine teased the captain, making Luke roll his eyes. "Tell me, how is it that you get all the gossip down there?" The dark haired boy asked with a grin.

"Hey, now you're just being rude!" The boy pouted, taking his jersey from him before turning around to get to his place in the change room. All the boys around laughed, walking to Luke to get their jerseys, too.

"Stop joking around and get dressed, we still have to stretch," Luke commanded when everyone got back to their places. "But if you care so much, yeah, he is in the crowd tonight. Somewhere, I'll have to find him before we play," he mumbled with a smile. All his teammates looked at each other, exchanging a smile too. They were proud of him.

"You guys heard him, start undressing," a female voice peeped from the door, making them all turn towards her. The black haired girl was grinning, eyeing everyone from her spot. "What the hell, Alice, you are a child," Luke frowned, giving all the boys a glance to make sure they didn't even look at her.

"I am fifteen, it's fine," she rolled her eyes. "Like he said, a child," the youngest in the team grinned at her, hiding his smile immediately when Luke glared at him. "I told you to never talk to my sister, haven't I, Haru?" Luke asked, not risking the seventeen years old teenager even getting a crush on his little sister.

"Sorry, captain," he put his hands in the air in defense, turning around to take his bottle of water from his bag. "You are so annoying, Luke," Alice rolled her eyes and walked to her oldest brother. "I came here to tell you we are already there, mom is excited to see you play," she said and Luke smiled again. "Bokuto is also there already, I talked to him before. He is on a completely different side than us though, so no need to worry about him meeting anyone," she assured him.

"Alright, thanks, Ali," he patted her head, making her frown immediately. She surely didn't need him to embarrass her in front of all his teammates. Especially not Haru. "Whatever, I am leaving," she brushed him off, walking to the door again. "I hope you guys win!"

"You are so harsh on Haru," number 1, and also the oldest member proclaimed, shaking his head. He also had a younger sister, and he knew he wouldn't let any of his teammates near her, but he didn't need to be glaring at their youngest.

"It's fine," the boy moved his hands in the air again. "Really, I get why he is protective of her, but I only see her as Luke's younger sister, really."

"Yeah but she doesn't see you just like my younger teammate and I am not risking her heart being broken so unless you catch feelings for her too or something, no giving her any hope," Luke warned him.

"She is too young for him," another one of their teammates frowned, already changing into his jersey. "He is going to turn eighteen in a few months and she will still be fifteen."

"And there's that on top of it all," Luke agreed. "But let's stop talking about my sister now and get things going, yeah? We don't have that much time," he proclaimed, putting down the bag he had all the jerseys in.

The twelve boys walked out of their change room, walking towards the basketball court. Luke spotted his family almost immediately, waving at all of them before he led the way to their bench. He looked around, searching for a certain volleyball player that was supposed to be in the audience too.

When he found him, he simply smiled, letting him know that he knew he was there. He wasn't going to wave at him or anything as he didn't want his family to know, but he knew Bokuto didn't mind that.

"Is that him?" Kento, player with the number one, walked to him, his arm around Luke's shoulders as he looked the same way as him. It was pretty obvious, they were both smiling at each other as if they were the only ones in the room. "What?" Luke glanced at him, as if he only now realized he was in public. "Oh yeah, that's Bokuto."

"He is cute," he nodded. "I hope you introduce him to us properly after we win this match, captain," he patted his back before he walked to the rest again, telling them to stop talking about useless stuff and go stretch.

Luke smiled, glancing at his boyfriend once more before he joined the others, taking the lead again.

"Kento, pass the stupid ball next time!" One of their teammates yelled at their oldest, pissed off because they were losing by sixteen points. "Hey, hey, chill out," Luke tried to calm him down. "He did what he thought was best at the moment, we can still win this, there's a whole 10 minutes left."

"You are just favorizing him! If any of us did this you would have told us to pass the ball!" Luke sighed, putting down his water before he completely focused on number twelve. He was a newbie in their team, so he didn't know any of them properly yet, but that didn't mean he could behave like this.

"One more word and you will be benched for the rest of the game," Luke warned him, looking him straight in the eyes to make sure he got that. "I would have told you the exact same thing if it was you making the mistake. I would have told you you did what you thought was the best, even though it turned out to be a mistake, so shut your mouth and go drink something so you can go back on the court and have enough energy to show us you would have done it better than Kento."

Number four came to them, patting Luke on his back while watching the newbie. "Go," he commanded towards him, making him leave immediately. He walked to his place on the bench, not talking to anyone and instead just drinking his water. The taller boy sighed, looking at the younger boy on his side. "You handled that well," he assured him. "Now, let's turn the game around, I am going to play," he grinned, making Luke chuckle.

"Luke, can I play first, please?" Haru came to the two of them, confidence written all over his eyes. When the captain saw that he didn't hesitate at all and nodded. "Go," he agreed. "I'll watch you guys and switch once it's needed."

"I am gonna sit too and switch during the game," number one proclaimed, watching the boys from the bench. He was one of the best players, if not the best, the team had, but he felt so embarrassed after the last mistake that he rather wouldn't go to the game right away.

Luke turned to him, nodding again. "Alright," he said, looking at all the boys on the bench. "Aki, you're on," he proclaimed after carefully observing them. Number seven quickly jumped up from the bench, thanking him before he walked to the other two already ready players.

Theirย  break ended and the first five came on the court again, dividing defense between each other. Luke looked towards his family, smiling at his younger siblings when he noticed them looking at him too. He turned his head to the other side, trying to find Bokuto with his eyes again, but he failed this time.

"Have you noticed Bokuto leaving?" Luke asked confusedly and Kento just shook his head, focusing on the game. "He probably just went to the toilet or something, pay attention to the match now instead."

Five minutes had passed, and both teams were switching their players. Luke swapped out basically the whole five, leaving only their number four in. The point difference was only by four at the moment, and he wanted to make sure they would win. Even though number four was one of the smallest players they had, he knew how to play and was faster than anyone they played against until now, so he was a good choice.

"Let's go, boys!" Their other teammates on the bench yelled, creating smiles on the player's faces. They divided the defense again and Kento went to start the game.

Both teams were running around the court, getting more points for their teams, blocking and stealing the ball from each other, fouling, but most importantly, cheering each other on.

"Two more points! Two more points!" Both teams kept yelling, encouraging their teams. It was currently a tie with only twelve seconds left. Whoever scored first would win.

"Kento!" Number four yelled at their oldest, running from everyone else to the basket so he could pass to him. Luke made his way there too, ready to save the ball for his team in case his teammates would miss. Kento passed the ball to the shorter male, watching him shoot the ball to the basket.

"Three, two, one!" All the fans yelled at once, watching the time on the board. Just when the loud alarm buzzed, Luke's team managed to score, all of his teammates jumping from the bench, cheering.

While the opponents' team walked back to their bench, telling each other that it was a good game, Luke's team ran to them on the court, getting into a group hug. They were all screaming and jumping around, making Luke laugh. His first instinct was to look at his boyfriend, but he still wasn't in his place. He missed the last seconds, Luke realized.

"Woo!" Another loud cheer was heard from the bench, making all the boys look there. Luke's eyes widened when he saw the famous volleyball player smiling at him. He didn't miss the last seconds after all. He ran to him, wrapping his arms around him immediately. Bokuto laughed, hugging him back. Neither of them seemed to care about other people anymore, and it made even Alice, who was watching the two of them from her place with her family, smile.

"Bokuto...?" Atlas asked confusedly, watching his older brother and his friend hug. "Who's that?" His mom asked, as confused as Atlas was. "I guess some introductions will finally happen today," Alice grinned, glad that she was the only one who knew about them.

"Let's go down, I am going to kick his ass for not telling me anything again," Alice's twin brother - Mark - proclaimed, already walking away. It didn't take much longer for the rest of the family to follow him too, going to meet the oldest son of the Leroy family and his friend no one knew about.

"Luke, quick, hide!" Alice yelled jokingly when they got to the team bench, making Luke take a step back from Bokuto. "You have some explaining to do," Atlas said, hands on his hips as he kept glancing between the two boys.

"Uhm anyways, we won, isn't that super nice?" Haru asked, walking to the family to help Luke out. Just when he spoke up, Alice's eyes were on him, making him chuckle. "You were amazing today!" She complimented him, her twin brother nudging her shoulder to show her that she was too obvious.

"Alright," Luke sighed, walking to his family too. "I'll see you later boys, put your jerseys back into my bag, thanks. I have things to take care of," he proclaimed, glancing at Bokuto and then his parents. "Let's go out for a bit?" He suggested, all of his family members nodding.

"What if I stayed behind with the boys-" Alice started, but Mark held onto her hand soon enough to pull her with them as they walked out to the dressing rooms.

"Uhm, nice to meet you," Bokuto bowed in front of Luke's parents once they stopped. He looked at Luke again, looking for some sort of sign of what to do. As energetic as he was, he was scared of their first impression and had no idea what to do.

"Okay," Mark said, breaking the annoying silence. "Why exactly are we making this awkward? It's not like we don't have another gay in our family," he glanced at Atlas, a small chuckle escaping his lips. "I assume you two are dating?"

"For a fifteen year old you are somehow smart," Atlas commented, his younger brother rolling his eyes at him.

"Yeah, we are dating," Luke admitted. "Uhm, I am bi, surprise," he said awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Stop making a big deal out of it, just introduce your boyfriend to mom and dad and we can move on," Alice commented, shaking her head at him. "You are an annoying menace, Alice," Luke sighed, making Bokuto who was watching them laugh.

Luke glanced at the volleyball player again and then back at his family, doing like Alice said. His mom smiled immediately, going to hug Bokuto for simply being with her son. Luke's dad joined her right after, greeting the boy. Mark tried to be cool about it and all, but eventually ended up ranting to him about how good he is in volleyball and that he watched his last game. Both Luke and Bokuto laughed at that, and that was the end of introductions as Alice and Atlas already knew him.

"You could have told me sooner, you know," Atlas commented. "But it's fine, I am glad you found someone nice," he slightly nodded, approving his boyfriend. "Thank you," Luke smiled. "I am gonna get changed and we were planning on grabbing something to eat together so I'll come home later," he informed them, already running off to the change room.

Alice shook her head at him, laughing. "You better walk him back home after it," she said towards Bokuto, patting his back. "Take good care of our son, alright?" Their mom smiled warmly at the boy, creating a grin on his face too. "I will," Bokuto agreed.ย
