I let out an annoyed sigh on hearing my phone ringing early in the morning. Stretching my hand, I somehow managed to get a hold of my vibrating phone. Without giving a glance at the caller's name, I abruptly picked it up.
I was immediately welcomed by Jin yelling, "I thought you were going to have breakfast with me before heading to the court."
Court? Why would I go to court?
"Yah! Are you there?" He yelled again.
"Yeah. Yeah. Stop yelling and tell me why would I go to the court?" I asked in my morning voice.
"Did you just wake up?" He questioned and I hummed as a reply.
Sighing, he continued, voice softer than before, "Did you forget about the...divorce?"
"Oh, shit!" I squealed, trying to ignore the way my stomach twisted upon hearing the word.
"Listen, as your best friend and lawyer, I suggest that you get ready quickly or else you won't be able to talk about the compensation money."
This time it was my turn to sigh.
"Jin, how many times have I told you that I don't need compensation money. He didn't do anything wrong, then why should he compensate."
"Oh come on girl, you married a billionaire but never took even one penny from him. Instead, you worked your ass off like a donkey."
"Look, you can say whatever you want but I am never going to take his money. You know I have my pride." I retorted.
"Your pride is what broke the relationship." He mumbled softly but it was loud enough for me to hear.
Jin had always been very straightforward. It was a plus when we needed to put someone in their right place but whenever he said something to me, it would hurt.
"I will hang up now. I have to get ready." Saying our goodbyes we hung up.
I had just gotten up from my bed when my phone tinged. I looked down to see a notification saying, 'Happy 5th anniversary to us!'
Sighing, I kept the phone back on the nightstand. This was going to be a long day.
Time was passing intolerably slow. It was hitting especially hard because I was sitting beside him. The man I had been avoiding since the moment I had announced that I wanted to end our marriage. Even though I could not say anything, I was genuinely curious about how he had been. I sometimes glanced at him and saw that his face looked more mature, his body looked toned, and he looked like he was in deep thought. I could tell that he had a rough day from those hooded eyes. I wished to say something but before I could do so, he asked, "How have you been?"
"Good," I answered shortly, not having a proper conversation even when I wanted to.
He hummed and again the room was filled with an awkward and uncomfortable silence. The silence was again broken by Jin.
"You both just need to sign these papers now and you will be done," Jin announced to both of us but only looked at me completely ignoring his presence.
I sighed at his childish behaviour before signing the papers and quickly getting up.
"I am done. I will leave first because I have some work." Saying that I paced out of the court while hearing Jin saying, "She might have a date." Trying to provoke him but I knew that it won't affect him, not anymore.
After an exhausting walk of twenty-five minutes, I finally reached the bus stop, only to know that the bus I wanted to catch had left five minutes ago and the next bus going to the same route was going to come after an hour. Things got worse when I heard the sky rumbling. I just wanted to quickly reach home before it started raining but it was not physically possible for me.
Thus, I was walking in the rain.
The rain wasn't heavy, instead, it was calming. To enjoy the beautiful weather, I slowed my pace and let the tiny droplets of water soak me.
There wasn't a single soul present. It was just me, the rain and the beautiful grey sky. The very beautiful rain was unlocking some memories. Memories, both beautiful and painful.

I suddenly got an idea to surprise Jeonghan. I decided to call his manager and visit his shooting site. I had done that before but it was always when Jeonghan told me to come, I never went there on my own.
Upon reaching I was welcomed by the staff who knew me and a beautiful artificial park.
There were beautiful flowers everywhere, a pink cherry blossom tree and a bench underneath it. Sitting on the bench was my very handsome husband making the whole set look even more beautiful.
Apart from these things, something else also caught my eyes. I couldn't stop looking at the way the female actor kept her hand on Jeonghan's. I knew this was just a drama but the dating rumours spreading about them made me anxious.
I became even more anxious on watching both of them leaning closer. Not being able to tolerate it, I looked away.
After a minute or two, the director yelled 'Cut' and all the staff members started rushing towards the actors.
I was still looking at the blank wall when someone tapped my left shoulder. I turned to see no one. I again felt tapping my right shoulder but this time I caught their hand. I completely turned around to see Jeonghan standing there with a grin.
He cutely giggled, "You caught me."
Instead of saying something, I decided to prank him back and kept a straight face.
Being confused about the situation, he asked, "Is everything alright?"
I wanted to break into a smile thinking how even a small frown on my face can make him worry, but to keep up the act, I did not react.
"Let's just go home," I said. He just gave me a nod and went to take his stuff and say goodbye to everyone.
His manager was going to drive him home initially but he decided to let us have privacy, so Jeonghan was driving.
The drive was silent until he said, "Did I do something?
I scoffed, " So now you are going to act as if nothing happened, huh?"
"What are you talking about? Please tell me if I did something." He queried softly.
"So you will continue acting as if you did not just kiss your co-actor and enjoyed it."
He sighed, "Oh, so you were angry about this small thing?"
"Small thing? Are you indirectly trying to say that I am overreacting?" I fake gasped.
"No, that's not-"
"Stop the car."
"Wha-"
"I said stop the car."
He stopped the car and waited for my next action.
Trying to stop smiling, I opened the door and walked out.
"Baby, wait..." He whispered trying to understand my odd behaviour.
As soon as, I stepped into the rain, I burst out laughing. He looked at me with a weird face, probably thinking I had completely lost it.
"God, you got so scared. How can you not catch pranks after doing them all the time? Why did you even believe that I would be angry at you because of a kiss scene?"
Shaking his head at my childishness, he climbed out of the car joining me in the rain.
I was still laughing when he pulled me in his arms.
"So, now you are going to prank me, huh? You should be punished for being so naughty."
Playing along, I innocently asked, "What kind of punishment will I get?"
"You know..." He dragged, as his hands started crawling lower.
Giggling, I pushed myself out of his grip.
"Why do you always have to be so nasty?"
"What can I even do? You bring out this side of me."
I cringed, "You are really weird."
"How do you expect me to behave when we are on an empty street, getting soaked by the rain? It is such a romantic atmosphere."
I moved closer, "There's something I have been wanting to do. I want to dance in the rain with you."
He whined, "You know that I am not good at dancing."
"Stop lying." Saying that I put his hands on my waist and put mine on his shoulders.
We both danced to the rhythm of the rain. My head on his chest, his hands on my waist and our feet moving in the same direction. Everything in my life felt like a fairytale ever since I started dating him. I still remember us sneaking out and talking about our future. I would spend hours listening to his dreams of debuting as an actor. I was the first one to know when he was finally recruited for a drama and I was so happy. Every moment I spent with him, made me realise how much I loved him and nothing in this world could change that. Nothing.
I looked up to see him already looking at me. We both were staring into each other's eyes when he leaned closer.
"Were you really not jealous earlier?"
"Maybe a little bit."
"You know what, I actually enjoyed kissing her."
I gasped, "Do you wanna die?"
He snickered, "How will you live if I die? I know you love me."
Still looking at his ocean eyes, I whispered, "I don't."
"Really?" He leaned closer and slowly brushed his lips on mine.
Getting impatient and out of breath, I ordered, "Just kiss me."
"What?" He smirked.
Getting annoyed, I made the move. I pulled him closer and kissed him hard.
A few seconds into the kiss, I loosened up and let him take control.
The kiss was slower than before. It was passionate yet gentle. Full of love.

I stood in the middle of the road smiling while thinking about those days when someone pulled me on the sidewalk, saving me from getting hit by a passing car.
Hi!
I am going to continue editing and publishing this while I slowly write Imposter. Writing that story is a lot of work, so while you wait for that you can read this and the other old stories that I am going to republish.
