𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 – episode two

𖡡      the car
4:50 pm

Phoenix sat in the backseat of Ravi's car. As Pip explained the new news she found out. "Repeat the whole situation Sarge, since Lieutenant here is zoned out." Ravi cocked his head to the side as Phoenix was looking outside the window. "Right sorry, im paying attention now"

"In case you didn't pick up, your sister was a drug dealer and were trying to figure out who Andie was selling for" Pip gave her summarized version "Im still in shock that she was a drug dealer, like i knew she took some drugs but i didn't expect this" Phoenix was still some what in denial, but she knew she should accept reality.

Phoenix tried to deny what was real and what was fake. Nothing seemed real to her anymore, she sometimes wondered if she was even real. "We think the dealer is secret older guy?" Ravi asked noticing the way Phoenix was playing with her rings."Could be or he could have nothing to do with secret older guy"

"It dosent matter we need to find this dealer" Pip's voice was stern - as Phoenix dozed off again as they talked about things that didn't interest her. "Just shut up and spill the plan" Phoenix snapped

"Max said the dealer could be at Calamity" Pip finally mentioned "So i'll be attending one this saturday"

"No offense Pip, but i don't think they'll let you in dressed like that" Ravi nodded "Yeah and you cant just go up to some dealer and ask what happened"

"You guys can come" Phoenix was actually done with going but she knew Ravi wouldn't be up for it. "Ravi you don't have to, if you dont want to"

"But Phoenix are you actually coming?" Pip seemed suprised. "It wouldn't be my first rodeo, Atticus was probably invited to it and was gonna drag me alone"

"So in the end im going with you, Pip, instead of my brother" Phoenix summed up as she ranted over her words.

"Fine, you two are on your own for this one. Dont do anything rash." Ravi warned "That my friend is classic Watson"

"Is it bad i dont know what Watson is?" Ravi and Pip gave her a look.

"I'll see you tonight Phoenix"

Phoenix opened the front door of her house. It was quiet. So she ran up the stairs. She could smell something coming from Atticus room. She walked to the very decorated door. "Ace?" She knocked "Nix what's up?" Atticus greeted his twin sister.

"What's that smell." Phoenix cringed moving her hand around. "Sex." Ace joked but Phoenix didn't laugh. "Jesus atleast laugh a little, but all jokes aside i was smoking" Phoenix hummed knowingly

"Kinda forgot you smoked" Atticus rolled his eyes "Im surprised you don't" Phoenix scoffed "Well im the older than you, im supposed to be a good role model." Atticus mimicked her facial expressions "Don't you dare tell a soul about that Nixy" Atticus pointed a finger threatening her

"Yeah yeah whatever" Phoenix told him off. "I have to get ready" Atticus mumbled as he scattered around his drawer. "For what?"

"Black Banana Bears" Atticus chuckled at the stupid name. "Stupid ass name, but im assuming its a calamity?" Phoenix raised her eyebrow "Yeah it is, we both get invited. You just decided never to show"

"Well im making a change in history tonight brother" Phoenix stated proudly, Atticus gave her a look. "Fuck you're not joking" Atticus pulled out some clothes for himself. "Im coming with you dickhead if you haven't noticed the hints"

"Ok rude, i actually noticed the hints this time" Atticus said with sass. "If you wanna come with me, then go get ready" Atticus tried getting rid of his sister. "Who do you even hang out with" Atticus eyes widened. "Just friends" There was something he wasn't tell her, but Phoenix decided not to push him.

"I'll meet you downstairs in thirty minutes okay?" Phoenix nodded "Yeah, and if Becca asks where were going just make something up" Phoenix walked towards her room and shut her door.

She felt at peace. All her posters on almost every wall. Popular faces of bands being near her bed side table. Phoenix walked over to her closet and pulled out a black skirt. She paired it with a black lacy tank top. Phoenix grabbed her go to platformed knee high boots that gave her about two inches more of height.

Phoenix changed quickly before doing basic makeup and slight curls into her blonde hair. She sprayed on a perfume she hadn't worn for years, so once she inhaled it, she got instant deja vu.

"Nix hurry up!" Atticus yelled "Shut up, im coming!" Phoenix closed her bedroom door and walked down the stairs. "Seriously does it take all day to walk down the stairs?" Atticus laughed at his sister. Phoenix flipped him off as she stood next to him. Both twins laughed.

"Okay, okay we should probably go, before Becca gets home" Atticus grabbed his keys and walked infront of Phoenix in a protective manner. Phoenix got into the passenger seat as Atticus turned the engine on. "Where even is this place at?"

"Basically in the middle of nowhere, it's not that scary" Atticus drove out of the driveway. The car ride consisted of sibling bickering before proceeding to sing to music, radiohead to be specific.

Atticus parked his car in a secluded space. "Come on Nix" Phoenix followed her brother. "Keep your phone on at all times okay? and be careful i don't want anything happening to you" Atticus was serious "And please don't go wandering off, stick with your friends."

"I got it Ace, i promise i'll be fine, i should be telling the one telling you this" Atticus laughed "Just text me if you need anything and when you want to leave okay?"

"Got it, okay bye now, love ya!" Phoenix yelled as she walked away. "Me too!" Atticus yelled back.
