Me and My Mom are waiting in the car as the traffic lights are still red.
"mom I think you need to know something"
She looks at me with attentive look while the light turns green in front of her.
"yes Aliza?" She looks forward at the road continuing to drive.
"there is this boy and I think he likes me back."
She smiles
"oh really? What is his name?"
"Matthew, His name is Matthew Sturniolo"
"i would love to meet him." She playfully winked at me and laughs
"mom!!" I nudge her arm while giggling.
"my princess is getting older i can't believe it." she ruffles my hair.
"imma go into the store really quick my sweet girl."
She planted a kiss on my forehead and went out of the car into the store.

Me and Matt have completely worked out every misunderstanding, broken promises and we really wanna try this time.
"Nick told me we are meant for each other in every universe." I tilt my head and my eyes softened. Other people could see it, how much we loved each other. I just wanted to get over these differences just to be with him.

It is not secret that we have a never ending love but, we don't have the love in the movies although it is flawed, it is beautiful because we let it grow.
It is not secret that we have wronged each other, love another person while still being close to each other's hearts, I still believe we can do it because Aliza is worth more than we can perceive and our love is worth fighting for.
"this time I promise that i will never stop loving you, I will cherish you, and be there for you always." I held her close as she smiled slowly at my promise.
Although our promises were broken doesn't mean we couldn't promise one another hoping for the best.
"I promise to hold you like this always." She hugged me tight.
"baby we should go to the studio hmm?" She nods while smiling and we run outside while it's raining.
"BABE WHERE IS THE UMBRELLA" she starts giggling "I DON'T KNOW" i shrug my shoulders and pick her up
"MATT PUT ME DOWNNNN" she screams while hitting my back.
"nope" i shaked head laughing and start running with her while she is screaming.
Halfway i get tired and put her down under a tent.
"you dummy!" She hits my chest while laughing.
"sorry" i giggle and grab her hand.
We run the rest of the way and finally make it there.
"baby?" she stops midway while holding my shirt tight.
"matt my head-" i catch her as she falls into my arms.
"baby? baby?! wake up!" I lay her softly on the ground.
"baby" i look at her with a soft look
a woman approaches.
"is she okay?"
"she just passed out. Liz?!!"
"sir do you want me to call the ambulance?"
I nod my head, i want her to be safe.

"oml i rushed over here hearing what happened, is she okay?" kiyomi runs over to her quietly.
"yes she is, the doctor said she was dehydrated."
I touch Aliza's soft cheek while admiring her.
"you wanna take a nap? I can watch her" I hesitate but nod.
"thanks Kiyomi."

After a while I feel her hand twitch, I try to calm her down. "hey Aliza." I suddenly see Matt helping me to hold her hand.
"Aliza calm down it's just me." He lowers down to her level and i smile.
Maybe he is gonna do good by my sister and I judged him too early on.
"matt?" she put her hand on face and he closes his eyes. "are you feeling okay my love?" His voice was soften when talking to her.

"are you okay my love?" i look at her while holding her hand that was on my face.
"matt? can i get some water?" I reach for the water bottle behind me handing it to her.
"thank you matt" she takes a sip and lays back.
"matt what happened" I look at her and my eyebrows furrow "baby we were going to the studio and you passed out sweetie, the doctor says you're getting out soon okay?" I ruffle her hair softly while smiling.
"okay!" she says excitedly.

After some minutes go by we are ready to leave.
"bye matt!" Kiyomi hugs me. Kiyomi never hugs me especially after what happened before, but I get it.
"bye Kiyomi!"

The teacher is talking about our project and the presentation grade, I can't help but wonder what was wrong with Aliza. She looked tired as if she didn't have any rest.
"Aliza?!! Are you okay?" I asked her grabbing her hand everyone's attention ahead of us.
"Matt is there something wrong?" I nod
"Ms. Smith something is wrong with A-" she suddenly falls but my arms catch her "Aliza?"

"Mrs. Spun is she okay?" I ask her mom while crying. "You call me Sharon sweetie and yes she is doing just fine." She smiles at me.

When i got home I felt a weight on my shoulders thinking about her and the way she fell into my arms. I look over at the picture once again sitting on the desk and learn to appreciate her more.

Ever since Aliza got back to school I made sure she never collapsed or passed out, and made sure she was safe since that day. Never there came a day that I wanted to blame myself for anything that could happen to her when I could protect her.

"that boy, he really cares about you sweetie." I look at her confused. "who mom?" She smiles "The boy you have been telling me about! Matthew, he was the one that helped carry you to the nurse." I smile hearing that. "And sweetie he really cares about you, i would not let him go if i were you." She giggles and I giggle along. Matthew Sturniolo cares about me something I never thought would happen. And ever since Matt seemed like a boy I could truly love it just was never the right time.
