9 𝓎ℯ𝒶𝓇𝓈 𝒶𝑔ℴ－

it's my final homecoming and I wanted this to all count.
me and kiyomi got comfy which we had a lot of time left so we headed to the store to get some food.

Eating at the kitchen table we have a conversation about Senior Prom coming up.
"too bad I'm gonna graduate before you kid"
"I wish we were born around the same time you know?"
"yeah I know kiyomi but trust me your last year is gonna be so much fun I promise."
"thanks aliza, but we gotta get going we have 3 hours to get ready"
"alright let's go!" me and kiyomi run upstairs while laughing like toddlers.

Later on Madison and Nick arrive waiting down stairs.
Me and Kiyomi go downstairs to see them standing in the front along with our parents.

matt entered the house waiting for everyone to come out but eventually stops when he sees the sight in front of him.
while he adjusts his bow tie and his suit.

I blushed lightly. He thought I was pretty, Matthew Sturniolo thought I was pretty.
"thank you matt" he smiles and nods while we step foot out of the door.

Moments later we walk into the building until I spot Vinnie Whitlock, he asked for my number weeks ago.
As I walk up he greets me.

As we enter the building walking around a boy comes and walks up to aliza. She is suppose to be mine.

beautiful? I wanted to say something but my words didn't come out. she wasn't mine anyway.
"vinnie you wanna go and dance?"
"sure" they interlocked fingers while walking away and I stood there in silence.
"matt you wanna go get some drink?"
"yeah let's go"
At the drink stand I couldn't help but notice how happy she looked with him, his hands were on her waist while they were smiling. He was dancing with her only so many feet away from me. Why didn't I notice how much I liked her before? I wonder but wondering isn't enough, she liked someone else.

Brooke heads over to me while smiling.
"hey matt you wanna dance?" She held out her hand.
Chris looked at me while smiling, although I was thinking of Aliza.. I was willing to get her out of my mind.

As I was dancing with Vinnie I noticed Matt and Brooke dancing, I'm happy that he got the girl he wanted the most. Although he didn't like me back I still wanted him be with the girl of his dreams.
Mellow eyes came to see how Kiyomi was laughing with Chris, How happy they were to be together.
And my night was amazing, full of love, laughter and happy memories.

"hi mattttt" me and matt decided to come to the studio to get ready for the release date of  'Clarity' coming out in one more day.
"Hey babe, how are you" he embraced me while smiling.
"good! And I was thinking that maybe we should send our music to music executives maybe?"
"holy shit aliza, that would be amazing. Let's definitely do it." He takes the computer and puts it onto the desk and opens a website.
"what website is this?"
"oh this is a website for musicians and songwriters. and also listing our songs, big executives will hear it and we may be performing on a stage one day"
"That sounds very exciting press it"
Me and Matt were excited, our relationship got better and we were honestly happier than before. Getting back with him was my best decision, i should've been there before.
"Okay it can take executives up to a week to notify you but just check in case okay mama?"
that word made my heart flutter and I visibly got flustered.

We listened to music and singed along to the songs playing. After a duration of songs, our favorite song came on. I audibly gasped and start humming the tune. I see Matt in corner singing along and holding his hand out

I say pulling on matt's shirt.
"okay let's go" he sighs jokingly rolling his eyes while laughing.
suddenly we hear a song playing and start dancing making eye contact.
"aliza?" He said to me in a soft tone.

my hand was close to his chest inches away from his heart.
"do you like me?"

As water dripped down my face i felt the warmth of her hands as they held my face.
