since she was raised by the lovely kara danvers so Delaney has a lot of Kara's characteristics
she's as hopeful and kind and caring as kara with a very similar sense of humor
her biogical mother was incredibly smart, as talkative and as persistent
her father was more of a determined, arrogant, care free and at times over confident
backstory ━━
when she was a baby her mother died unexpectedly and her father went missing around the same time so he used his magic to send Delaney to the woman who he learned so much from and knew would be able to raise her to be an amazing girl. Kara tried her hardest to search for Delaney's parents but once she realized it was almost impossible she adopted her. Delaney is your typical model student at National City high school with a 4.0 gpa. When she was younger kara started training her and she found as many fifth dimensional books she could so that Delaney wouldn't lose control. She learned to control her powers and loves using them whenever she can. Delaney and Kara have the best mother daughter relationship, Delaney is also close to Aex and the rest of Kara's friends. After she was born she was sent out of the Fifth Dimension when she was a couple months old and has been raised in National City ever since.
