Kid Blink couldn't see the change in your behavior around him. It seemed as if everything was as normal as it should be, you being friendly to him, and him being friendly to you. But everyone else noticed the small changes, like when his name was mentioned you'd go red, or how you'd never prank him, instead going for the other newsies. You were absolutely smitten for him. So it came to an absolute shock when one of the newsies accidentally spilled the beans in front of him, which made you go wide eyed and disappear into the crowds in embarrassment. Kid Blink was very confused, but elated, as he had liked you back. Race found the whole thing amusing.
