Gally wasn't the kindest person in the world, and everyone knew it. So the fact that you had; went from getting (quite aggressively) hauled up from a cage by him, to getting screamed at for talking back, to being able to follow him around, to finally, being his best friend, was shocking to every glader. Sure, Gally tolerated you more than you had seen him with anyone else, but you didn't know why it was such a big deal. You sat by Gally at the greenie bonfire, laughing about all the weirdest memories you could remember, like Gally's angry face when you opened your eyes to the glade for the first time.
