FALLON SANTOS ran away from a loveless father and foster homes she was thrown in and out of. being guided to luke castellan and thalia grace by her mother was what saved her life, and unlike her best friend, she loved being a year-round camper at camp half-blood. she simply thought, screw the rest of the world. fallon lost thalia. she lost the chance at a normal life a long time ago. she felt, even for a short time, that she belonged here. at least, as much as a daughter of hecate could belong somewhere else.

not to mention that fallon has feelings that are growing stronger every day. unfortunately, there was no spell in her books that could remove them. annabeth chase, the daughter of athena, was everything that fallon had wanted but could never have. she considered that maybe the fates had different plans when percy jackson shows up clutching a minotaur horn and the ability to not only control water, but to capture annabeth's gaze. fallon thought she could get over being so crushed, but somewhere in the haze, she would get a sense of betrayal from another as was predicted.

fallon felt annabeth & everybody she loved slipping through her fingers. because of him. her rage and jealousy consuming her causes a ripple between her own magical abilities, and a certain titan wanting to help abandoned demigods get their revenge has his eye on her. fallon doesn't know who to trust - sometimes, she can't even trust herself.
