Alright, imagine this: you're walking through a moonlit garden, and you spot a flower, breathtakingly beautiful, with deep, velvety petals. You're drawn in, captivated. That's Belladonna.Β
But you also know, deep down, that this beauty is laced with a hidden danger, a potent mystery.
That's the feeling I want to capture in my graphic shop, Belladonna, 'a beautiful woman,' hints at the allure I aim to capture in every cover, every banner. But it's also a reminder that true artistry isn't just about pretty pictures. It's about crafting something that holds a certain... edge. A captivating danger, if you will. Like the plant itself, I want my designs to be both stunning and unforgettable, leaving you with a lingering sense of wonder.
I've always been fascinated by the contrast β the way something so beautiful can also hold a hidden edge. And that's what I bring to my work. I want to create covers and graphics that aren't just visually appealing, but that also hint at the depth and complexity of the stories they represent. So, if you're looking for designs that are both beautiful and a little bit bewitching, you've come to the right place.Β
So, come on in, and let's create something beautifully dangerous together.
Alright, alright, I know what you're all thinking: "Seriously? You're starting a graphic shop? An author doing graphics? What's gotten into your head?" And honestly, I get it. It's a bit of a plot twist, even for me! See, my whole Wattpad journey started with writing challenges, those crazy community prompts that sucked me right in. Then, one day, bam! I stumbled upon the shimmering, magical world of graphic design, all thanks to the glorious, user-friendly wonder that is Canva (nope, not sponsored, just telling it like it is!).
And the funny part β I actually started my Wattpad journey as a graphic designer! Yep, me! I was a community-based designer, working with tons of groups and even some graphic shops for like, a year and a half. It was a blast, honestly.
But then, that pesky little author worm wriggled into my brain, and suddenly, all I wanted to do was write. So, I had to step away from the communities (and my graphic design dreams, of course) to focus on my books. For like, a year or more, I barely touched a graphic design tool. I'd do a few covers for my own stuff and for some close friends, but that was it.
But the spark never really died, you know?Β Seriously, I'm not trying to brag!Β And honestly, as much as writing is my therapy, graphic designing is my first love. My dopamine hit. And I'm thrilled to announce that I'm back in the game, baby! You can consider me a graphic design addict again, and I'm loving every minute of it! Yee!
SEE YA IN NEXT CHAPTER! :D
