"If Roy thinks it's a hate crime, might as well play along, right?" Akaashi thought to himself as he sat in the living room quietly. No music or anything playing, just the sound of rain hitting the window. He calmly continued to sketching, waiting for Bokuto to come home.
A smile creeped on his face as he thought about him. Bokuto has really been working a lot lately, hasn't he? He took his job very seriously, even if it was just cleaning floors and so on. The day he actually brought Akaashi his first paycheck, he cried, because for once he could give Akaashi back.
Akaashi, of course, declined his money and said that Bokuto could spend it on something useful, so other bought some groceries, a few other things and then spent the rest on snacks, online shopping and new hair products.
The sound of the door unlocking made Akaashi close his sketchbook and go greet Bokuto. The other came back happy, as always, even happier to see Akaashi greet him for the first time in a month, he had been awfully busy with something.
"How was work?" Akaashi asked in a sweet voice as he smiled at Bokuto.
Bokuto blushed slightly. "It was good. Got to meet those two guys you told me about. You know, the ones doing some work here?"
"Oh, Hinata and Kageyama? It's nice that you got to meet them" Akaashi watched as Bokuto scratched the back of his head, indicating that he felt a bit embarrassed or emotionally distressed. Though, that was no secret for Akaashi who had known about Bokuto's feelings for him for years.
Yes. Akaashi knew. He simply felt like Bokuto had to mature more before diving into a relationship with someone like Akaashi. And lately, Bokuto had been showing amazing progress. Akaashi had thought about it for a long time and maybe, just maybe, it was time to step it up a notch.
"Say, Akaashi..." Bokuto suddenly said, just as Akaashi was about to walk away.
"Hmm?" He raised an eyebrow, looking at Bokuto in confusion. Judging from his body language - he was about to ask something very important to him.
"When you get a free day...maybe we could, you know, go to town? Just spend a day together..." Bokuto trailed off. An awful attempt to ask out Akaashi on a date, really, and Akaashi knew that.
Yet despite that terrible attempt, he wanted Bokuto to feel happy. "Sure, I'd love to"
"Really?" Bokuto's face lit up as he stared at Akaashi with sparkling eyes. The other simply nodded before finally heading to the living room.
"Akaashi, I also met the guy you told me about!" Bokuto said as he happily skipped into the living room. "Roy, I think. He was very nice, but told us to be careful"
"I know, he always does" Akaashi sat down on the sofa, gesturing Bokuto to sit down next to him. The other did just that, blushing at the fact that their shoulders were touching. Trying to supress his feelings, Bokuto tried to relax a bit.
His legs hurt a bit, his right arm as well. As much as he hated to admit it, he probably didn't smell the best too. His hands have always been rough and working made them even worse, his palms at this point felt like soft sandpaper.
He glanced at Akaashi, a complete opposite.
Even though he worked today as well, drove around the town and met up with clients, he looked absolutely fine. His hair wasn't a mess, it looked soft. His skin, his hands were probably smooth as well. Without any thinking Bokuto took Akaashi's hand, admiring the softness and smoothness of his palm, seeing how it fit perfectly in his hand.
Akaashi simply smiled and sat there, it's been long overdue. Bokuto soon managed to come back to his senses and realized what he had done, but the moment he tried to let go of Akaashi's hand, the other squeezed it harder.
Bokuto's eyes met Akaashi's, the two of them stared at eachother with such warmness in their eyes. Bokuto exhaled deeply, he decided to take his chance. It's now or never. To be completely honest, he expected Akaashi to move away as he started leaning in, but the other stayed still and slowly closed his eyes.
Their lips met just a second later, melting into eachother as if they were meant to be. At that very moment, Bokuto's heart practically stopped. He was afraid that Akaashi will push him away, but he didn't.
Of course, the perfect moment had to be ruined by Akaashi's phone ringing. At first he ignored it, but when it rang for a second time he felt forced to answer it. The one evening he decides to have for himself and Bokuto, someone ruins it.
Akaashi pulled away and sighed, taking his phone out of his pocket and answering angrily.
"What?!" He practically exclaimed.
"Good evening... I'm not sure you remember me, but I need your help" a voice spoke. Akaashi recognized it and he hated it. They were going to pay for ruining such a perfect moment.
He turned to Bokuto with an apologetic look on his face as he stood up and sighed. "Where?"
"The bus stop in the outskirts. You know it." After these words Akaashi hung up. He felt violated! He and Bokuto were having a special moment and this bitch had to ruin it! "Bokuto, I have to go. I'll be back soon, okay?"
Bokuto nodded, his face was red and he looked pretty out of it. Akaashi checked his pockets before grabbing his leather gloves and jacket. It was late, police were probablh patrolling the area.
Akaashi, of course, took the car. Even if someone was to stop him, they would recognize him. He knew who called and where to go.
He was "an old client". Akaashi absolutely despised him. He asked for Akaashi's help before, but later on after Akaashi had helped him enough moved to another lawyer, throwing dirt on Akaashi's career.
It took him 20 minutes to get to the destination and honestly driving at night in a middle of nowhere feels quite surreal. A man waited on the bench patiently. Akaashi parked his car and angrily stomped out.
"What?" He asked immediately. The faster he goes over this, the faster he can get rid of him.
"Ah, I'm so glad you came" the man stood up, tall and well-built as ever.
"Aone, get to the point" Akaashi checked his pockets again, to his surprise he felt something that Bokuto had left him.
"I'm in trouble. I know you're the only one who can help. I got into trouble with this guy and if I don't pay him, he's gonna kill me" Aone spoke. He sounded pretty genuine, but Akaashi didn't care.
He was angry.
"Don't care. That's all?" Akaashi scoffed.
"Keiji. Please. Help me. Just this one favor and I'll disappear." He said. Akaashi couldn't exactly make out Aone's expression.
He sighed and looked around. Plains, a forest, a lonely road, a simple bus stop. Perfect.
"How about I make you disappear?" Akaashi asked, reaching for a taser in his pocket that Bokuto had bought him for "self defence".
"Meaning?" Aone asked, confused. He didn't even get to react properly as he felt a shock go through his body, making his drop on the ground. "W-Wha---?"
He didn't even get to say anything as Akaashi tased him again and again. Of course, a taser doesn't have the ability to knock someone out, so while Aone was laying on the ground Akaashi quickly stood up and opened the trunk of the car.
The last thing Aone saw was Akaashi swinging some sort of thing at him. After that it was just dark. Akaashi made sure to dispose of the body in a location that's not visited frequent.
He felt happier.
Hopefully Bokuto was still waiting for him on the sofa.
