"There, this should be good..." Akaashi mumbled to himself as he tightened the cords around Tanaka's limbs with all his might, probably stopping blood flow into them, but not like that mattered anyway - he won't need his limbs.
As he looked at the clock on the counter, he remembered that his friend was coming back in a couple of hours, Tanaka will probably regain consciousness soon enough - should he wait for the other to come back, attack him and kill them both simultaneously or should he take care of Tanaka now and not worry about it later?
"Hmm... what would be more satisfying?" Akaashi asked himself, now leaning against the door frame, looking at Tanaka bound on the floor, his mouth duct-taped shut with extra strong insulation tape, Akaashi found that those ones are the sturdiest and can rip your skin off if removed too quickly. He had wrapped it nicely around Tanaka's head.
"Can't decide..." Akaashi murmured to himself again. He walked back into the room, walking behind Tanaka to inspect the wound, that he had also taped up, you know, to stop bleeding - he's a nice man after all. His knife, now in his hand, Akaashi had an urge to just slice and dice him up, maybe leave a little message to taunt the detectives, maybe even make a pointless threat - but where's the fun in that?
It's much scarier when you have a silent serial killer on the loose, one that never leaves clues - no one knows if they are safe. Akaashi had felt that the public had relaxed too much, perhaps it was time to get them back to their homes. As Akaashi looked around, he could see many pictures of Tanaka and his friends - that other guy from the station and... oh, the boy Akaashi had dragged into the woods.
"Oh, my, what a coincidence," Akaashi thought to himself, devising a perfect plan in his head. "Hmm... I know what I will do", through his teeth escaped a burst of laughter, but one that held no joy - Akaashi's twisted heart cried out for him to not do anything stupid, but he had already decided the best way for them to suffer.
Just as he was about to kick Tanaka in hopes of checking whether he is conscious, Tanaka's phone buzzed on the table nearby - it was his roommate. "Coming back now? Picking up some beer? Oh, that's just splendid. The faster you come, the faster we can play..." Akaashi whispered to himself as he read the message displayed on the screen.
A muffled noise coming from Tanaka's side jerked Akaashi's head to the side, he watched intensively as Tanaka's struggled to open his eyes, trying to break his hand free, but to no luck. Finally, his eyes shot open and his pupils stared at the man towering above him - a figure of darkness, shrouded in an aura of bloodlust.
He wanted to say something but the tape around his mouth was too strong, so all Tanaka could do was trash around on the floor while a plethora of noises escaped his body - moans of pain and fear. His eyes kept darting to Akaashi who had not moved a centimeter since he woke up, in reality, Akaashi was feasting his eyes upon the view.
He could feel a tingle every time a muffled moan of pain escaped the other, oh the sense of electric shock he could feel as he watched him writhe on the floor. Splendid, absolutely splendid. "Ah... I could look at this for hours", Akaashi said to himself, shivering slightly at the thought of enjoying everything even more. The more the merrier, right?
Finally, he moved. With slow footsteps he made his way to Tanaka - as he got closer the other froze in fear, not moving an inch. It felt as if paralysis engulfed his body as he watched Akaashi approach him with a smile. "Hey... let's play when your friend comes, okay?" Akaashi said, his voice sending a wave of nausea towards Tanaka - he had a hard time processing the situation already.
He tried to speak but all he could manage were muffled sounds of pain and anger, confusion as well, Tanaka could not even begin to process as to why this man who worked for the police had him tied up, why was his mouth taped, why was he on the floor? So many questions, so few answers, though not like answers to them would help in any way.
"Sorry for being so rough, Ryuu" Akaashi spoke as he finally squatted down next to Tanaka. "Sorry, I haven't done this in a while. I'm a bit rusty"
He watched as Tanaka flailed on the floor again. "Oh, don't be so feisty now. We'll get to fun sooner or later. You know, once your friend gets here, I can tell you what happened to your friend!" Akaashi smiled widely, his eyes showcasing no other emotions apart from bloodlust and joy. It sent shivers down Tanaka's spine.
For Tanaka, minutes felt like hours as his eyes followed every single movement Akaashi did. Every single time he took a step, Tanaka could feel his fight or flight senses going crazy, though, there was not much fighting he could do as his bound arms and legs were numb, and the pain in his back kept on stinging.
As the two stayed in silence, Akaashi heard a noise coming from somewhere behind the door - finally, it was time. As Akaashi positioned himself in a comfortable place to strike Tanaka's roommate, all the other could do is watch. The lock on the door turned and then...
"Ryuu! I got the beer!" a voice was heard. Tanaka's eyes widened as he began flailing again, the muffled sounds barely reaching the other room. "What?! I couldn't hear you!" he followed up.
Akaashi watched as his roommate, Nishinoya, turned the corner. He stopped dead in his tracks, the bag with drinks falling out of his hands as his eyes fell in the view in the living room. It was trashed, things all over the place from Akaashi looking for anything interesting. His roommate, Tanaka, was bound on the floor, his eyes red from all the crying and a small puddle of blood forming around him.
Before Nishinoya could react, Akaashi struck from behind him. His elbow once again hit Nishinoya's head, his leg tripped him over, making Nishinoya fall to the floor - not conscious. Akaashi could feel his heartbeat increasing, this was the first time he attacked two people, it was dangerous but here he was.
He listened to whatever noises Tanaka was making while he bounded Nishinoya and tapped his mouth shut. It seemed like Nishinoya was a bit quicker to wake up, as the moment Akaashi was done with tapping his legs together, NIshinoya woke up. The room filled with wonderful noises of muffled cries and moans, hidden pleas of forgiveness and confusion.
"Ah, like music to my ears" Akaashi whispered to himself. From his pocket he took out his beloved knife, inspecting it before looking at the two bound guys on the floor. "So... Lev was your friend? That's his name right? Wanna know what happened to him?"
The two guys seemed confused at first, Nisninoya nodded just slightly but realized his mistake the moment a sinister smile plastered on Akaashi's face. "He's underwater now. I don't think anyone will find him any time soon, darlings. This very same knife -" Akaashi showed the knife to them. "- pierced his chest multiple times"
Nishinoya must have felt enraged as he flailed on the floor, but by the look on Tanaka's face he could tell it was pointless, it seemed like... Tanaka had accepted his fate by now. Before Nishinoya could think of any actions to do, he felt Akaashi's foot collide with him. Akaashi put power into his kick as he listened to Nishinoya writhing in pain.
"Well, we will start with you..." Akaashi whispered as his eyes fell on Tanaka.
All Nishinoya could do was watch as Akaashi approached his best friend, he tried to scream as he watched Akaashi land multiple kicks on Tanaka, making him bleed even more than he was and then... his knife pierced Tanaka the second time. Then the third time. Fourth time. Fifth time.
It went on and on and on, the sound of the blade entering the body and being pulled out, blood spilling all over the floor, reaching the nearby walls and ceiling. Tanaka's eyes were lifeless, they were fixed on Nishinoya, whose vision was blurred as he tried to scream. For the love of god, someone must hear him, someone must help him... So why... Why was his friend dying on the floor in front of him while this maniac slashed an X on his face?
The blood that had escaped Tanaka's body started seeping further and further. Through the blurred vision Nishinoya watched Akaashi step closer to him.
"Did you enjoy the show?" He asked, his face stained with the blood of his bestfriend. "Oh, the tears just continue spilling, huh?" He smiled once more.
Akaashi had a hard time processing the events on his own, his brain has shut up completely and all that he could think about was slashing and stabbing the man in front of him. Some rational part of his brain was telling him to pick himself up, become clean before becoming a full monster, though, there was almost no way back now - not after what he had done.
As if in a trance, he marched towards Nishinoya's shaking body. He raised his arm, clutching his knife, before jamming it into Nishinoya's neck, letting the blood spill everywhere around. From there it was just one wound after another until Nishinoya's body was unrecognizable - and of course, the signature X on the face.
The apartment had turned into a blood bath, there was blood on the floor, ceiling, walls, and everywhere within reach. As Akaashi looked at th view in front of him, he felt a feeling of nausea in his stomach - just what had he done? And why was he feeling so... good? relaxed? satisfied?
"I should... call Bokuto," He said to himself. "But first... I should take care of this..."
Akaashi sighed. The clean-up is always the worst, but hey, at least he knows for sure that no one will be coming to this apartment for the next two weeks - that's a good thing. "Bokuto really liked that pork cutlet I cooked... maybe I should do it again today"
