Bokuto's fingers delicately dragged across Akaashi's spine, feeling every bump. Softly, just barely touching his skin, he whispered sweet nothings in Akaashi's ears, just a moment later his fingers brushed against his ribs - it sent shivers down Akaashi's skin as his breathing hitched and words got stuck in his throat.

"You're so gorgeous...

You're so beautiful...

You're perfect...", he whispered quietly as a smile crept onto his face.

"B-Bokuto....", Akaashi managed to say, his eyes were still closed, but he could feel Bokuto's eyes on him, "I really need to get to work..."

"Just a minute more..", Bokuto leaned in placing a trail of kisses on Akaashi's neck, his lips made their way up and lingered just a second above his lips before kissing the other softly, Akaashi's hands wrapped around Bokuto tighter - if only this morning could last forever.

Bokuto pulled away and waited for Akaashi to open those beautiful eyes of his, glittering color of dark turquoise soon appeared. Seeing those eyes every morning made Bokuto fall in love with Akaashi all over again. They sparkled ever so slightly.

"I really need to get ready, I have to meet up with Roy today" Akaashi smiled as he released Bokuto from his grip, the other whined slightly, wanting more. "Don't whine, you have work later too"

"I do, but I really wanted to spend more time with you. We could...go on a date..."

"I won't take long, we can go on a date later, okay? I just need to take care of a few documents. Roy chose me to be his consultant in the "X" case, we need to go over some things before signing the agreement"

"You're more than a lawyer now, huh? I guess I'll be seeing you at work more often?"

"Yeah, I'll be coming in pretty often. It will only take an hour or two, I'll be back before you know it. In the mean time, get ready, do the dishes, pick up your dirty clothes and put them in the basket, take the dirty sheets off, finish the leftovers in the fridge, find the TV remote and also d-----"

"Okay, okay I get it! Clean up and stuff." Bokuto laughed slightly at Akaashi's words, the other really acted like a housewife. The other smiled lovingly, just how perfect could Bokuto be?

Bokuto, Bokuto, Bokuto... it was the only thing on Akaashi's mind these days. Ever since they confessed to eachother, their life changed drastically. Bokuto no longer hid behind an innocent boy mask, no, he took all advantages of having Akaashi as his boyfriend. He was no longer afraid of touching him and kissing him, it would make him so happy to see Akaashi giving himself to Bokuto fully, both physically and mentally.

Of course, he noticed  other things too. Akaashi still had secrets of his own, the door leading to the basement was always locked and Bokuto could never find a key, but he didn't worry. If anything, he thought that Akaashi stored sensitive information in the basement and he respected his privacy.

Akaashi walked into the living room, now dressed in his usual work attire. A nice suit, a black button-up shirt, black tie and his black briefcase. Akaashi really liked the color black, didn't he? Maybe that's why he had asked Bokuto to not dye his hair for a while.

Akaashi put on his shoes and gave Bokuto a peck on the cheek before going out. He was feeling happy and energetic, but also at the verge of laughing his lungs out. Him, a consultant for the X case? What a joke! If only Roy knew what he was doing.

Being a consultant gives Akaashi a big advantage, he will have access to all sensitive and secret information, all the evidence, everything! How far have they gotten? How many victims have they found? With all that in mind he can plan his work better.

Now that he thinks about it, he has been working in his private playroom for a while, the detectives must have noticed that the most recent killings take place somewhere else. Perhaps, he should go back to his old ways for a bit, stab and dash.

The police station, as always, was busy with work. Kageyama's murder, as expected, was being kept a secret. If the news about two dead detectives came out the town would fall into mass hysteria, maybe dance to their death like those people in France. Daichi was running around the station, fuming with anger at "incompetent police officers who failed to protect his students".

His eyes fell on Akaashi, who was trying to sneak past him. He quickly ran up to him and just sighed, his face was riddled with hurt and pain. Akaashi stood there for a second before pulling Daichi into a hug.

"I'm sorry I failed to protect them....." Akaashi spoke softly.

"It's not your fault... I should have been here, but we got a lead on Suga so I rushed to Japan.."

"What about Suga?"

"He was seen in Kyoto, so we rushed there. Found evidence of him at multiple motels, he's good at hiding. I mean, he is a detective, he knows what gives him away and what doesn't.."

"I've been trying to contact him, but he isn't answering"

"Same here.... this is..too much on my heart. Suga, Kageyama and Hinata... Don't abandon me, okay Akaashi? You're the only one left."

"I won't. You won't catch me slipping, now let's go. I have to see Roy. You will be helping out with the cases right?"

"Yes. I'm transferring her temporarily"

The two made their way to Roy, who briefly explained what they can do and what they can't, they signed the agreements and it was all quickly over. The station was busy enough with Kageyama's case now, so a consultant like Akaashi wasn't necessary at the moment. He asked Roy to send him the document and left the station just as quickly as he entered.

Everyone was on the verge of breaking. The case was putting immense pressure on everyone, especially Roy. Just a bit more, just a little bit more...

He found himself walking around a rather abandoned neighbourhood. Tall and empty apartment buildings stood there like ghosts, there wasn't enough funds to finish them, so they stood like monuments, reminders of how much this city had failed it's citizens. He made a few turns in a few alleyways, looking for a good place to secretly burn some papers he had stolen from Roy, maybe smoke a cigarette or two.

He was surprised to come across a half drunken woman at the end of one of these alleyways. She was awake, but her leg was injured and she couldn't stand up.

"Hey... help me up, pretty boy" she said, her voice rough.

"How did you get yourself into this situation?" Akaashi walked closer to her, extending his hand. She took it and pulled herself up, dusting off her clothes. She was practically Akaashi's height, her hair was short and blonde, but her facial features were quite intimidating.

"I was running away from my brother and his friends, they didn't catch me, haha!" She laughed before leaning against a wall. "I'm Saeko! What's your name, pretty boy?"

"Why do you want to know, Saeko?" Akaashi felt his palms itching. He took of his blazer and pulled out a pair of black leather gloves. In order to  pull her attention away for now, he took out the papers and a lighter, lighting a fire to the papers and throwing them to burn into a pile of debris.

"I think every woman would like to know the name of a man as cute as you" she said and winked. Akaashi contemplated for a second, he hadn't really killed a woman before, this could be a great way to throw the detectives off, right? Mess up their whole theory on X being a homosexual racist male.

He reached into his briefcase and pulled out his precious knife. He turned to Saeko, who had gone pale.

"You don't need my name, dear."
