Toni wondered around the grounds of southside high, noticing Jughead clicking on his laptop at a nearby picnic table.

"Whatcha writing?" She asked as she sat down across from him.

"A fanfic" he replied without looking up.

"About what?" She asked curiously, "you and Betty?"

"You and Sweetpea actually"

Toni choked, "w-what!? W-why?"

Jughead looked at her confused and shocked expression and cleared his throat a little, "because Sweetpea asked me to. I'm being paid"

Sweetpea looked up from the picnic table next to them and held up a finger to pause Fangs from talking.

"Jughead." He said loudly, catching Jughead and Toni's attention.

"I told you to keep that anonymous you idiot!!" He yelled at Jughead. Fangs glanced at Toni who was just staring at the back of Jughead's laptop, trying not to laugh.

Jughead smirked and continued clicking on his laptop, "done" he turned to Sweetpea, whose face was red.

"Toni would you like to proofread it to make sure I got your part right?" Jughead asked her, smiling a little. Sweetpea glared at him and swallowed hard, "NO" he yelled.

"Sure" Toni stated calmly, "after all it should be accurate"

Sweetpea watched as Jughead turned over his laptop. Toni began to scan it.
He watched her facial expression change, from her small smile to her eyebrows raising, and then a muffled laugh.

She laughed a little as she slid it back to Jughead, "well done sir, honestly spot on"

Jughead bowed in his seat "thank you ma'am"

Sweetpea bit his lip as Toni changed her direction towards him and raised her eyebrows. He put his head down on the table for the rest of the period.

By the time the bell rang, Toni nor Jughead didn't mention anything of the writing again. Toni stood up and made her way over to Sweetpea and looked at him.

"Hey Toni..." he muttered.

"Hey" she said, tapping his shoulder. He lifted his head up and Toni saw it was still pink from embarrassment. She smiled,

"So I'll see you after math like always?"

He blinked for a moment and nodded quickly. "Y-yeah, like always"

"Good" she smiled and kissed his cheek.

Toni turned back to Jughead and started to walk away with her things, making sure she got to her class on time. Sweetpea sat there dumbfounded and rubbed his cheek, smiling.
