"BABE" Toni screeched, running as fast as her tiny legs could carry her towards her boyfriend's locker. He slammed it closed and turned over to Toni, who jumped in his arms. Sweetpea kissed her hard,

"Just the princess I wanted to see..." he muttered, colliding his lips with hers. Toni figured he was angry at something, he usually was. Toni pulled away quickly, brushing multiple strands of pink hair out of her face.

"Sweets!" She huffed, pointing in the direction of Mr. Philip's classroom. She turned and stared into his dark eyes, trying to catch her breath. "Mr.- Philips- said- that- I could- reopen- the red and black!" She breathed, Sweetpea blinked.

"What? Didn't he say there was no more of that?" He scrunched up his face, rubbing her back as he held her up.

"Yes! But- but I did it!" She screamed, Sweetpea smiled as Toni started to laugh. He knew she always put him in a better mood. He set her down gently and felt his arm move forward.

"Sweets! C'mon move faster!" Toni groaned, pulling her tall boyfriend's arm along to see what her new office was going to become. He chuckled and picked up his pace as the two entered the red and black down the hall.

"It's amazing Tiny!" He shouted, taking it all in. Toni jumped up and down excitedly,

"We don't deal crack, we deal words!" She shouted enthusiastically. Sweetpea tried to hide a laugh and kissed her. He picked her up, placing her up against the wall. She grabbed his face and kissed him hard, he let his hands travel up and down her waist.

Betty grabbed Jughead's hand as they walked down the tattered halls of Southside high.

Betty and Jughead have been at Southside high ever since Betty decided to burn down the old Cooper house and they were forced to go live with the Jones'. Thus transferring the two to Southside high.

The two stood next to the old red and black office, both hearing noises they had gotten used to. Jughead rolled his eyes and glanced over to see their best friends getting to it for the third time this week, it was only Tuesday.

"Hey! Get your tongue out of her throat Pea!" Jughead shouted, laughing afterwards. Betty elbowed him for drawing so much attention to themselves, but Jughead didn't care. He liked the attention and making his friend's faces so red.

The pair stopped and Toni jumped down, hiding the fact that her face was turning a dark shade of pink. Sweetpea wiped his now red lip, leaving the distinct taste of strawberry from Toni's lipgloss.

"Hey guys..." he muttered, looking down at his girlfriend. Jughead and Betty walked swiftly into the cramped office. Sweetpea thought about the closet down the hall, maybe he could distract his girlfriend from this red and black business for a period or two.

"Hey T, Sweets..." Betty nodded to the two. Toni's face lit up unexpectedly as she began to ramble on about how she got Mr. Philips to agree to reopen the red and black.

"Wow T, that's amazing!" Betty stated, slowly going to hug Toni. Jughead smiled at his pink haired friend, shocked that his best friend had gotten the red and black back.

"That's awesome T, can I help in any way?" Jughead asked, Betty nodded along, sighing to herself as she shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot.

Sweetpea noticed the blonde and her strange behavior, scrunching up his own face as he watched her swallow down tears. She slowly backed away and started to bolt for the broken up library. Sweetpea inhaled and quickly followed her.

Toni informed Jughead that if they wanted to they could come and help Toni clean up the office after school, he agreed.

"We'd love to help you Toni" Jughead smiled. Toni turned to smile at her boyfriend but he was gone, her smile faded quickly as she saw only air.

"Where did Betty go?" Jughead asked giving Toni a confused look. Toni shrugged as she said Mr. Philips was giving Toni the whole day to get started on her missed work, since it was already half way through the year.

Sweetpea walked the couple feet to the library and pushed open the door, his eyes widened as he saw an upset Betty resting his palms on the edges of a near shelf.

"Hey- what's wrong Betty?" He asked, rushing to her aid. Betty rubbed her face and looked up at her best friends boyfriend in distress.

"I might not be able to graduate..." she choked, tears streaming down her cheeks, "the stupid principal said I had to do therapy because of what I went through with my dad and house and also try to bring up my grades." She sobbed, throwing her hands up in defeat.

Sweetpea pursed his lips, familiar with the feeling she was facing. Not the trauma part, he had it differently, but the grades he understood completely.

"Betty, it's gonna be okay. I've gotten bad grades for years and I've always made it up." He reassured, Betty's face was red and puffy as she looked up at Sweetpea who had a look of concern spread across his face.

"I- I know but I want to graduate with you guys" she choked, rubbing her eyes. Sweetpea pulled her into a hug, allowing her to cry into his chest.

"If you want...I can help you with some stuff, I have a really good tutor" he whispered to her. Betty calmed down and looked up at him,

"Really? You'd help me?"

Sweetpea rolled his eyes, "Of course. Your Toni's best friend, she'd be devastated if you couldn't graduate with you."

Betty smiled and thanked Sweetpea for his help, he nodded and said he had to go find his over excited girlfriend and excused himself.

Toni was busy unboxing old articles people in the past have wrote, she wanted to see what she was up against.

"Tiny" Sweetpea cleared his throat, walking back into the red and black. Toni looked from her stack of newspapers and dropped them onto the table.

"Hey babe- where did you go earlier?" Toni asked, gliding over and grabbing both of his hands.

"Betty was upset about something- I went to go help" he muttered. Toni looked him up and down and dropped his arms.

"Oh" she said, turning around and focusing all of her attention on the old articles. Sweetpea furrowed his brow,

"Is that a problem?"

Toni glared over at him, "No I just didn't know you and Betty were pals..." she clenched her jaw a little. Sweetpea cocked an eyebrow.

"Toni- are you jealous?" He smirked, leaning against the wall. Toni glared at him and shook her head,

"No what did Betty need though?" She said, her eyebrows raised. Sweetpea chuckled and stared at her.

"Reassurance" he said, Toni looked down and started unfolding the old articles and placing them in a neat pile on her desk.

"About?" She asked coldly, Sweetpea rolled his eyes.

"Go ask Betty yourself" he retorted, folding his arms across his chest. Toni looked at him and sat down at her desk, placing her head down.

"You were Betty's knight in shining armor...." she muttered, tears of envy fell from her eyes. Sweetpea frowned and sat down in the chair across from her,

"No...I'm your knight Tiny, Betty just needed help with her grades...she's just having trouble adjusting." he said quietly. He placed his hand on her shoulder, Toni didn't pick up her head.

"Tiny...please don't be upset"

Toni lifted up her head and stared at him, tears were coming down more but Sweetpea could tell there was something more to it.

"Babe- what's wrong?" He asked calmly, Toni wiped her eyes.

"I have one week to get this on track...and- I don't know how I'm gonna do it." She choked. Sweetpea sighed and stood up, and picked her up, cradling her as he sat down in her chair.

Toni sniffed and looked up at him. "I'm sorry" she muttered. He sat still, petting Toni's hair as she closed her eyes.

Betty and Jughead walked into the red and black a while later, Betty having told Jughead about her dilemma, they'd just finished a tutoring session. The blonde turned to look at their friends.

"Well, looks like they got so much work done" Jughead scoffed, smiling at the sleeping figures of Sweetpea and Toni. Toni laid a little ball in his lap, sleeping softly and Sweetpea had his head rested on the chair, his arms tightly enclosed around Toni.
