Sweetpea looked up his officer, waiting for further instructions. His officer kept a straight face but snuck a smile out.

"You're free to go home lieutenant Jones, thank you for your service." He saluted. Sweetpea saluted back, unsure of why he was being sent home.

Toni swallowed her nervousness down and she rubbed her stomach, she didn't get a chance to tell her boyfriend she was pregnant before he had to leave for the military.

Fangs was over helping Toni calm down, along with Kevin and Jughead. They were all decorating for Sweetpea's welcome back party. Fangs informed Toni that she'd be fine and made her drove to the airport to pick Sweetpea up.

When he landed back home, he stepped out of the military plane in his uniform. He was too excited to see Toni and their friends to change. He stepped off the plane and looked down at his phone, Toni sent him a text saying she was just outside the boarding room.

He ran out of the gate and saw Toni. She smiled at him widely, he looked at her stomach. She was pregnant.

"Toni..." he breathed, running over and hugging her tightly, but loosened up after a minute. He looked down and placed a hand on her stomach. Tears formed in both of their eyes.

"Babe...I'm sorry I didn't tell you." Toni said quickly, grabbing Sweetpea's hands. He looked down at her in awe, truly at a loss for words.

"I- I called the military. I first wrote to them to send you back whenever possible, or to at least tell you I was pregnant. And- and- I called like two weeks ago and they said it was okay for you to come home..." she rambled.

Sweetpea inhaled as he put his hand on her cheek, pulling her into a kiss. They kissed for what felt like a long time when Toni pulled away.

"It's your baby." She smiled, Sweetpea scoffed.

"Well it better be mine!" He laughed, messing up her hair a little. Toni held his hand as they made their way to the car.

Toni sat next to her boyfriend, he was scanning his letter he had received from the military.

"I got in!" He yelled, smiling to Toni. She smiled and gave him a hug, hiding her worried expression from him.

"Pea-" she started, Sweetpea cut her off by kissing her lips.

"We need to celebrate!" He said happily, Toni scrunched up her face,

"By..?"

Sweetpea grinned and hummed a low tune, flashing Toni a sexy smile. Toni's face turned red,

"Babe- I can't, I- I'm on my period." She lied. Sweetpea rolled his eyes and flopped himself back down on the couch, wrapping his arm around her. He rubbed her shoulder,

"I'll be gone for about six months..." he sighed, "are you gonna be okay?" He asked, kissing her cheek. She looked at him longingly and nodded.

"I think so. I'll miss you so much." She whispered. Sweetpea kissed her head and hugged her tightly.

Toni parked the truck, Sweetpea was the first to get out as he ran across to Toni's side, picking her up bridal style. She laughed as he opened the door to the familiar trailer.

His face lit up with joy as all of his friends jumped out and yelled surprise to the couple. Sweetpea set Toni down gently and began hugging all of his friends.

Toni smiled softly as she felt a kick from her stomach, excusing herself to the bathroom.

Toni sat down on the floor and held her stomach, desperate not to throw up. Her pregnancy was driving her crazy, as wonderful as it is.

Sweetpea looked down at the cupcakes Jughead and Fp had made earlier as a 'bonding experience' he laughed as he bit into one. They weren't half bad.

He looked around and picked up another to give to Toni, but he couldn't find her. Fangs said she had went to the bathroom a while ago.

Toni tried to hug her knees but couldn't and slowly exhaled, knowing stress wasn't good for the baby.

Toni walked back into the tiny trailer, crying to herself as she already missed her love. She had just dropped him off the nearest military station for his training.

She sobbed as she took out her phone, her hands trembling. She held the phone up to her ear and heard the familiar ringtone of her friend Betty.

"Damnit!" She screamed, ever since she started hanging out with the serpents more, Betty became a close friend.

She held her head close to her knees while calling her half brother. Thankfully, he answered.

"Fangs!" She sobbed into the phone, Fangs asked her if he was gone and she choked out a yes. Fangs said he was already on his way.

Fangs entered the trailer urgently, seeing Toni sitting on the floor, a sobbing mess.

"Fangs.." she cried, wiping away the fresh round of tears. She kept crying as Fangs hugged her tightly.

"What if he d-dies..." she sobbed, her throat burning. Fangs assured her he wasn't going to die, and that he would be back in before she knew it. Toni told him what she didn't have courage to tell her boyfriend.

"Is it- his?" Fangs swallowed, Toni smacked his hand and denied that it would be anyone else's. Fangs said this was something they should celebrate and not to cry over.

Toni inhaled a shaky breath as she continued to cry, she felt horrible not telling Sweetpea he was a dad.

"Tiny?" Sweetpea knocked on the bathroom door, wondering if Toni was still in there. He saw the door was only cracked and Toni sat on the floor by the wall, holding in tears.

"Tiny!" He said, closing the door behind him and crouching next to her. "What's wrong?" He asked, looking at her worriedly.

"I feel awful for not telling you about the baby!" She cried, Sweetpea scoffed a little in response and hugged her tightly.

"Oh Tiny...I'm not going anywhere okay? It's okay you tried its okay." He repeated, rubbing her back. Toni looked up at him and smiled through her tears,

"It's a girl..." she whispered softly. Sweetpea smiled brightly and looked down at her stomach.

"She's going to be the most wonderful baby." He said lovingly, he looked up and Toni. "I'm retiring from the army, they agreed it was for the best and I served my country the best I did." He said, holding her. Toni gasped,

"So you're not going back? Even after I have the baby?"

Sweetpea shook his head, taking his tags off from around his neck. He placed them over Toni's head. "I'm all yours." He smiled. Toni clenched the tags around her neck and leaned her head on his shoulder.

Toni dug her head into the crook of his neck and rubbed his arm, saying they should get back to the party. He agree and carried her out.

Fangs and Jughead enjoyed the party with their friends, celebrating Sweetpea's return and their growing family.
