"hey guys, i need yall as soon as possible i need to talk to yall" coach said sticking her head in the door.

"yes ma'am, we're almost done" kiki said and she nodded before leaving.

"what yall think she wanna talk about ?" rian asked curiously.

"i have no idea but im her nervous asf cus what did we do now ?" rayah asked.

after getting dressed, i texted liv and let her know that im at practice and that i would text her after.

"yall ready ?" talia asked and we all nodded our head yes. we walked onto the court.

"please sit in the middle of the floor" coach g said and we all sat in the middle of the floor.

"so im sure you guys are curious and confused" she started and we all nodded.

"well, as you know a couple of weeks ago we had a little issue revolving a player. and our team is so strong and our relationship is strong as well so i want you guys to take the time to talk to each other and come to an understanding" coach said.

"with that being said.. juju i owe you an apology. i want you to know that you're heard and i understand what you were saying."

"i should have told you and pulled you to the side but i was so caught up in catching up in some stuff. you are so worthy of being here and your starting spot.. you do so much for this team and we appreciate you and your hard work and dedication" she said as i stood up.

"thank you coach.. that means a lot. im sorry for how i responded. yk me and im as respectful as it gets but you were right me being mentally drained and it led to me reacting out of retaliation. i love this team so much and i wanna continue to represent it and you" i said.

i hugged her and the team clapped making me shake my head cus ik the tears were gonna fall.

"now, i want you guys to take the time to try and build that chemistry back" she said before walking to her office.

"juju we're sorry if you felt like we betrayed you. it wasn't our intentions and you know that we just wanted you to rest cus you were overdoing it and it was only gonna get worse if you continue to push yourself" rayah.

"yeah you're our best player and we need you at your best not only physically but mentally. and it's not worth risking either of those for a basketball game" dominique said.

"we hope that you can forgive us and understand we didn't do this to hurt you but to help you" ag said.

"ik, and i owe you guys an apology. im sorry about how i acted.. and running out and ignoring you guys." i said in tears.

"it's okay, you just needed a break that's all. we're good" avery said as we did a group hug.

"i missed you guys" i said wiping my tears.

after crying ofc lol, we started practice and i could feel that love and passion come back everyone basketball possession.

once on break i called liv cus i just needed to hear her voice for a few minutes.

"hey my love.. how's practice ?" she asked making me smile.

"good! me and coach talked it out and then i talked to the team as well and we're good. im working towards getting back to where i was ofc at my own pace"

"but i can feel the love and passion slowly coming back." i said making her smile at me.

"i will, i love you more mamas" she said. after saying our goodbyes we hung up and i saw the team smirking at me making me giggle and blush & hide my face in embarrassment.

we headed back onto the court and coach was not playing at all. i missed this so much so i cannot even complain at this point lol.

"okay right there" xavier said as i finished helping him decorate.

i stared at the pink balloons that read "will you be my girlfriend" that i just finished setting up and made sure no letters were crooked or anything.

"i appreciate you for helping me liv. i think she's gonna love the promise ring you picked out for her" xavier said making me smile at him.

"ofc anything for my best friend. and she was worried you was never gonna ask her lol so im excited for her to see it" i said.

"okay im gonna go make sure grace is ready and then i'll send her for you" i said.

"okay, preciate you" he said giving me a hug. i nodded and walked to my car. the way the inside of my body is excited for hannah cus she been waiting on this day for a minute now lol.

once i got to her apartment, i went to her room and saw her in bed with her head under the cover.

"grace i thought you said you showered ?" i asked.

"i did" she mumbled.

"well you need to get dressed. why are we in bed ?" i asked pulling the cover from over her head.

"because what is my life ?? what im getting dressed for ? ion wanna go out" she said.

"you don't understand bro. i poured my heart and soul into a relationship that wasn't even official just for him to be so d*** dry towards me like he don't gaf" she said as her voice cracked.

"i understand that but again xavier been doing extra training. yk him losing the championship game really made him go deeper into fb and training" i said.

i texted xavier and let him know that we would probably take a little longer than normal cus i had to beg grace to get out of bed.

"yes ma'am, i promise. grace yk i would never hurt you or put you in danger" i said and she nodded.

we headed to my car and i took her to xavier's apartment. i could smell her perfume thank God cus i love when folks smell good around me lol.

but i am excited for hannah to see this surprise cus i can't handle depressed her. ts is heartbreaking and sad but she's gonna love this.
