i walked into hannah's apartment using the spare key & it was super quiet in here & iykyk grace got the energy of a toddler.

"grace wya ?" i asked. i walked to her room and she was in bed sleeping. her hair was everywhere and her foot was hanging off the bed.

"lord who wore you out ?" i said lightly shaking my head.

"wake up grace" i said slapping her foot. she groaned and moving her foot.

"girl get up for you be up all night" i said getting on her bed. i bounced on it a little making her body move.

"WAKEY WAKEY CUTIE PIE" i yelled making her groan.

"bro stop you're irritating me" she said.

"oh girl please you irritate tf outta me every single day let's not" i said.

"im up" she said sitting up.

"girl you never sleep during the day what's going on with you ?" i asked.

"stayed up til 3 this morning tryna finish extra work" she said and i nodded.

"why are you so holly jolly ? i thought yo gf was done with you" she said making me mug her.

"okay h** first of all don't do to much" i said lightly pushing her shoulder.

"how are you tho real talk ?" she asked.

"okay i guess. thinking about her and everything 24/7. it's so disappointing cus like she know me and she know imma always keep it a buck" i said.

"yeah i think that she just wanted you to tell her that she was doing enough cus she felt like she wasn't & the team didn't make it any better in helping her" hannah said.

"that whole you holding me back sh** really got to me cus like what have i ever done that made you think me of all people YOUR GF didn't want you to be happy or achieve all your goals" i said shaking my head.

"no that was crazy. i did not expect her to say that. heck ian expect her to even think that" she said and i nodded.

i scrolled through all of our pictures. one specifically caught my eye was when i told juju i committed to ND and she was so proud.

i remember her running over to me jumping my arms. she told me she was so proud of me over and over. one of my biggest supporters.

"yall was so cute" hannah said making me look up at her. i shook my head cus "was" just stung tf out of me.

"thank you" i mumbled.

"you remember that time she called you crying cus she got stuck on the side of the road when we played them and we had to catch a uber to where she was" grace said making me laugh.

"yeah cus her ahh couldn't drive and still can't to this day" i said shaking my head.

i texted her mom cus i just wanted to make sure she's okay.

bonus daughter🥰: hey mrs. watkins, i just wanted to make sure juju's doing okay 💕.

bonus mom🫶🏾: hi livvy! yes she's doing a lot of healing! thank you for checking on her 🤍.

bonus daughter🥰: ofc i love your daughter and i always want her to be happy.. but can i ask you a question ??

bonus mom🫶🏾: of course what's up baby girl ??

bonus daughter🥰: i'm sure juju told you about the whole situation & i just wanna know how you feel about it.. i understand now that she felt alone and needed someone but i did tell her the truth.. do you think im wrong ???

bonus mom🫶🏾: of course not! even ik my daughter hasn't been 100% and i feel like all this may have taken a toll on her but it will also give her the chance to rest. you did what was right and don't even question that because she's hurt and she got mad at you because of it!

"aww i love the relationship you have with her mom" hannah said as she leaned over staring at our messages.

"omg you so d*** nosey" i said as we laughed. it's okay tho cus i was gone show the message anyway.

"ouu cherries, i love cherries" i said grabbing two bags and putting them in my moms cart.

"you have an obsession skies" she said laughing making me giggle.

i decided to come grocery shopping with my mom cus i do miss spending time with her and i wanted to get out of the house.

"so are you ever gonna talk to liv ?" she asked making me look at her & exhale.

"mm idk probably not. she let me know how she felt and i honestly don't even know what i would say to her" i said.

"okay but she did what she had to do baby. and ik you don't wanna hear that but it's true. she knows you and yo body just as well as you do" my mom said.

"and i just hoped that i would have at least one person on my side. everyone just left me" i said.

"no one left you beautiful, we're just looking out for you" she said.

"and we texted yesterday" she said making me look up from my phone quickly.

"about what ?" i asked.

"she was just checking on you to make sure you were okay since she can't get ahold of you" she said.

that kinda made my heart flutter, cus not she still trying.. & through my mom lol. i honestly don't know how to feel anymore.

"ohh" was all i said before grabbing some milk and putting it in the buggy.
