IT WASN'T FAIR HOW CLARKE WAS TREATING WELLS. June had only found out recently, on the dropship as they were hurtling towards their deaths to be exact, that he had turned in Jake Griffin for attempting to expose The Ark's oxygen levels falling and then arrested Clarke for conspiring. He might have done wrong, but given what he's done for June as she remembered, there had to be more behind the story. She hasn't asked, almost frightened of the response that she would get, but she knew that she could try with Clarke. The girl, as far as she thought, didn't hate her like she did Wells, hopefully.

Silently eyeing Clarke as she shoved supplies into a bag, June remained crouched with her chin resting in her hand before speaking up bluntly. "I think you should talk to Wells." The statement was clear and Clarke's features tightened.

Clarke dropped the surprised look, shaking her head and wiping her hand across her forehead. "No," she said simply. "I'm not talking to him. Not about what happened."

June realized that she had yet to realize herself the full story of what had happened. She still tried to assure her friend, hate being caught in the middle. She cared for both of them. "All I'm saying is that you should give him a chance to explain himself," she advised, remaining careful with her words. "He wouldn't have done something like that without good reason. Take it from someone who knows."

Unsure of what June meant by the last sentence, Clarke glanced up briefly to give her a puzzled look. Before she could question it, the level's floor latch door flew open and Wells climbed up the ladder to enter. June turned her head to see he was relaxed by the sight of the two girls, while Clarke was troubled. "There you two are," he greeted, approaching casually. "When my father said they didn't leave us anything, he really meant it." June had to agree, knowing that the council assumed they were being sent to their deaths and wouldn't have wasted useful supplies on the trip.

However, June was more worried about the slash on Wells's arm from Murphy and their fight earlier in which he was cut. Knowing that Clarke had some medic knowledge from her mother, a doctor named Abby, she decided to take a shot. "Clarke, can you look at Wells cut? We don't need it getting infected," she requested, giving a well point.

Giving June a curt nod, Clarke rose to her feet and grabbed Wells's wrist. She turned his arm over, looking at the torn clothing that exposed his wound. "It's just a scratch," Wells spoke up, attempting to convince them both.

"You're making friends fast," Clarke mumbled crudely and dropped his wrist. "Keep it covered. June's right, it could get infected." June smiled with pride at the answer, joining her two friends on her feet as Clarke stared at the bag Wells had made. "Nice pack."

Wells grinned, pleased despite Clarke being sarcastic, as he held the pack up. "Yeah, seat belts and insulation," he explained. "I packed part of the parachute, figured we could use it to carry our Jasper," he suggested.

"That's amazing, Wells," June praised, glad he had done so. "Are we ready to go, then?" If the pair were leaving on a rescue motion, she was determined to go too.

"No," Clarke responded simply and averted her narrowed eyes to Wells. "Give the pack to June or someone else. You're not coming with us." She stormed off, climbing down the ladder, making it clear that she didn't want to be argued with.

But Wells had not been able to let it go. He was confused, following Clarke back down the ladder. "My ankle's fine," he protested. June frowned, trailing after them and knowing that Wells' ankle had nothing to do with it.

"It's not your ankle, Wells," Clarke snapped. "It's you."

"Clarke," June said strictly, full of emotion as she landed on her feet. She gave the other a stern look, reminding her of their short conversation from earlier, but didn't miss the way that Clarke hadn't seemed to care.

"You came back for reinforcements," Wells argued determinedly. "I'm gonna help."

From where he was leaning against the dropship wall, Monty stepped forward to join the three and cut into their conversation. "Clarke, he's right," he insisted. "We need him. So far, no one else has volunteered." Although it was disappointing, June knew it was fair enough. It was scary, not knowing what was out there that had attacked Jasper.

Shaking her head, Clarke informed him with an apology. "I'm sorry, Monty, but you're not going either."

"Like hell I'm not," Monty shot back when caught off guard, bravely becoming closer. "Jasper's my best friend." Knowing that if June was in his position, with either Wells or Clarke out there in danger, she was about to agree but Clarke stopped her before she could with a good point.

"You're too important," Clarke began. "You were raised on Farm Station and recruited by engineering." Monty didn't seem to get it, as to why those were important skills while being on the ground. "Food and communication. What's up here.." She tapped his head. "It's gonna save us all. You figure out how to talk to The Ark and I'll bring Jasper back," she bargained. Even though Monty didn't like it, he nodded to agree, knowing she was right.

Finn suddenly joined them, throwing aside the cloth opening and stalking inside. Clarke whirled around, smiling when she saw him. "Hey," she greeted, prepared and clutching the straps of her bag. "You ready?"

"I'm not going anywhere," Finn responded with a scoff. June was surprised by it, knowing that he was the most reckless delinquent there. She'd expected him to be the first to jump on their little train. "And neither should any of you. That spear was thrown with pinpoint accuracy from three-hundred feet."

Hurt by the idea of Jasper not returning, Monty interrupted. "So what, we let Jasper die?" June shook her head slowly, knowing that wasn't even an option.

"That's not gonna happen," Clarke assured Monty firmly before turning back to Finn. "Spacewalker? What a joke. You think you're such an adventurer, you're really just a coward," she challenged him.

"It's not an adventure, Clarke!" Finn retorted, slightly insulted. "It's a suicide mission." Clarke shook her head, choosing to push past him and head outside.

Wells stepped forward next, pausing to glance at Finn. "Build a wall," he told him. "Use the fallen trees. I'll watch out for her." He didn't give Finn a chance to respond, instead walking outside after Clarke.

Crossing her arms over her chest, June included herself. "Make that two of us." She strode outside, being hit with the sunlight immediately. She smiled at the feeling, despite feeling almost frightened of where Jasper was and what could happen to him or them. June pushed those thoughts of her head, instead choosing to focus on to which direction she and Wells were following Clarke to.

Apparently, Clarke had chosen to approach Bellamy. The leader was wrapping Octavia's wound, who was just warning her that she could have been killed. "She would have been if Jasper didn't jump in to pull her out," she commented.

Looking up with wide eyes, Octavia tied the knot Bellamy made tighter as her brother stood. "You guys leaving?" She questioned, observing the packs they were carrying. "I'm coming too."

"No, no," Bellamy protested, setting his hand on Octavia's shoulder to keep her sitting. "No way, not again."

"He's right," Clarke confirmed. "Your leg's just gonna slow us down." June could see Octavia looked upset by the truth, but gave in, knowing that she was powerless to attend the hike and help them save Jasper. "I'm here for you," Clarke continued, which June found more than expected. Her friend had made it clear she didn't like Bellamy, and to want to spend a day trip with him was startling.

"Clarke, what are you doing?" Wells asked from behind her, as equally astonished as June.

Ignoring him, Clarke continued pressing Bellamy. "I hear you have a gun," she noted. Bellamy didn't answer, instead choosing to lift up the hem of his shirt to show off the firearm he had tucked in his waistband before dropping it. "Good. Follow me."

While Clarke stepped to the side, Bellamy hesitated. "And why would I do that?" He asked shortly.

"Because we're doing a decent thing," June mumbled under her breath bitterly, keeping her arms crossed over her chest. The words were unheard by everyone except Wells who nudged her shoulder, warning her without words to keep the thought to herself.

Instead, Clarke spoke with a better statement in a hushed whisper. "Because you want them to follow you, and right now, they're thinking only one of us is scared."

The challenge that Clarke issued had definitely screwed with Bellamy's head. He mulled it over, knowing that she was right and he did want the delinquents to follow him. "Murphy, come with me," he ordered as he shrugged on his jacket, much to June's dismay. "Atom? My sister doesn't leave this camp. Is that clear?" The one he was pushing around nodded, showing that he understood.

"I don't need a babysitter," Octavia said with a huff.

"Anybody touches her, they answer to me," Bellamy stated, speaking over her and straight to Atom. "Let's go," he commanded to the ones leaving.

Unsurprised that Bellamy was already claiming the leadership title despite them being there for hardly even five minutes, June reluctantly followed Wells and Clarke towards the direction of the woods. She tried to think of how she had hardly seen most of the woods, only scanned the area with Wells, and was filled with excitement of the idea to see much more. Even if Bellamy and Murphy were joining them, June wouldn't let them ruin it for her.

"These guys aren't just bullies, Clarke," Wells warned her. "They're dangerous criminals."

"I'm counting on it," Clarke replied simply.

June blocked them both out to send a quick look over her shoulder as she hiked forward. She could see in the second that Bellamy and Murphy weren't too far away. They were conversing, with superior and confident smiles. She didn't like the way they came off, but tried to remain centered on the real mission; rescuing Jasper.

After a few minutes of walking, Bellamy and Murphy eventually caught up with them. June was startled when Bellamy called out from across the long grass. "Hey, hold up!" As he came around a thin tree, June could see the handgun he was holding up in his hand. "What's the rush? You don't survive a spear through the heart."

There was no need for the gun and June knew that. They weren't in a threatening situation, and to wave it around as if it was a harmless item practically made her blood boil. "Put the gun away, Bellamy," she demanded, taking a daring stride towards him.

Before June could get any closer, Murphy put himself in between her and Bellamy and shoved her shoulder roughly. "Why don't you do something about it, then?" He dared her. June stiffened, her lower lip curling in aggravation when he had the nerve to nearly be face to face with her.

"Guys," Clarke snapped to break them up and force the moody teens apart. "Jasper screamed when they moved him. If the spear struck his heart, he'd have died instantly. It doesn't mean we have time to waste."

Before Clarke could move on, Bellamy reached out, grasping her lower arm. June went to stand up for her friend, but before she could Murphy put his arm out in front of her that she heavily shoved away with a glare. "As soon as you take this wristband off, we can go."

Clarke ripped her arm out of Bellamy's grip, shooting him a dark glare. "The only way The Ark is going to think I'm dead is if I'm dead. Got it?"

"Brave princess," Bellamy commented mockingly, stretching the words out.

"Hey!" Someone called out from behind them. "Why don't you find your own nickname?" Finding it familiar, June turned, slowly smiling when seeing it was Finn striding along towards them. "You call this a rescue party? Got to split up, cover more ground," he proposed. "Clarke, come with me."

Glancing towards the three boys she was left with, June eyed each of them before her eyes landed on Wells. She gestured to the side with her head, and he nodded back. She couldn't waste her time arguing with Bellamy and Murphy. Right now, all that mattered was finding Jasper.
