JUNE THOMPSON IS AN INTELLIGENT HACKER. she's always had a love and appreciation for computers, leaving her a huge tech-savvy nerd, aspiring to be the best technician that the ark has ever seen. she's encouraged by her close friends wells jaha and clarke griffin, that is, before the latter's arrest. it left june ruined, wondering why the good princess of the ark was imprisoned and put into solitary. whatever she had done, couldn't have been that bad. at least, she hoped.

BUT WELLS JAHA HAS A SECRET. wanting to dig deeper into it, he pulls june into doing what was right upon informing her they were nearly out of oxygen levels. there's another secret the council is hiding, this time including the delinquents and earth. determined to gain themselves a seat on the dropship, wells has the brilliant plan of getting the pair arrested by burning the last tree, a symbol of hope in the ark. as flames erupt in june's brown eyes, she wonders if she did the right thing. the second her feet touch the earth's soil, she knows for sure she's done so. but earth is nothing like she expected, and her determination to survive once more grows.

DAYS AFTER LANDING, june meets a feisty mechanic that risks her life to see if the delinquents are alive. she's smitten by the person she is, slowly growing attached, and only hurts herself in the end when realizing raven is promised to someone else who hasn't cared about her since the dropship's landing.

JUNE WANTS TO SHOW HER DIFFERENT. if only she could convince her love is beautiful and she deserves it more than anyone. it's too sad she only ends up ripping her own heart out in doing so.
